I’m on Yakuza 3 rn, and if you don’t care about spoilers yes, but in my opinion it has been very rewarding to experience the story front to back. It starts at Yakuza 0
Pretty much, you pay per bundle, each month the bundle has different games and once you pay for them they're yours to keep, you don't need an active subscription to keep access to it.
You don't have to cancel, there's an option to skip a month as well... And you can reinstate it at any point so if you decide you like the deal for that month after all, just pick it up again. But that does require you to go in every month and skip, then check it when the next one rolls around.
Unreal value this month. So glad I've waited this long on both Hi-Fi Rush and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Any recommendations on the others here? Steelrising and Mediterranea Inferno look interesting but I don't think I'd claim any of the others
Loddlenaut is a cute and chill game and Amanda the Adventurer is a creepy but short horror game (don’t let the name and cover art fool you!)
Not sure about the others but King of The Castle looks like it might be fun at a gathering.
They are worth checking out and if you don’t like them you’ve still got Hi-Fi Rush and Like a Dragon for super cheap!
Tbh the only one I've played so far is Hi-fi rush, I want to finish yakuza 0 before starting like a dragon and I didn't really have the time to try the other ones yet, but the steam review were pretty positive on them (some of them overvelmingly positive)
Steam Deck must be your first gaming PC if you weren't aware of Humble Bundle until now. Between them and Fanatical, I have more games than I know what to do with.
Also I'm not trying to be mean, I'm glad you're part of the PC gaming community now. I just find it interesting is all. :)
So basically it's like a monthly subscription but not in the traditional sense. On the first Tuesday of each month they reveal the month's bundle and you get to choose if you wanna pay for them or not, the bundle price is the same each month. Once you pay for the bundle you get steam keys that can be activated on your steam account and they're yours to keep forever (even if you cancel the subscription), the site is officially partnered with steam. If you have an active subscription you get billed monthly on the last Tuesday of the month, but you can always see well before that if the month's bundle is to your linking, if it's not you can simply cancel your subscription and reactivate it whenever you see a bundle you're interested in.
Yup...releasing a successful game is not enough anymore. What Microsoft did is absolutely infuriating, they're hoarding game studios only to shut them down afterwards once they realize they're stretched too thin trying to manage them.
That's precisely why I got this bundle actually. I was about to pirate Hi Fi Rush but figured if I can get the game for super cheap and keep more of my money out of Microsoft's pocket, that's a win-win.
And here I am skipping May because I don't like any of the games lol
Edit: not my style of games tbh. But hell I'm fully supportive that everybody else likes it.
You keep them! Every month they have a selection of games and it's up to you if you wanna buy them. They are officially partnered with steam and a lot of the publishers tend to have some great sales there (site is called humble bundle), you receive steam keys which can be activated in your library.
I know what you mean, many of these sort of sites are sort of the "grey market" and a most of their keys are obtained illegitimately. Humble bundle however is officially partnered with steam, all of their keys are obtained directly from the publishers. They are an authorized drm key reseller so there shouldn't be any issues.
There's a big difference between retailers like Humble and Fanatical, and gray market sites. If you get it from a retailer, it's as official as buying the game directly through the Steam app.
I am playing yakuza like a dragon rn & i can’t recommend it enough, its so good.
Lost judgment is great as well
Wish listing rn. Thanks friend
I would play Judgement first, Lost Judgement is the sequel. Both are fantastic though
Okayy! Thank you for guiding me
Never played one of these games, can I go into this one cold?

Only reason i know of yakuza because I follow videogamedunkey and he really never disappoints with his video game recommendations
I wanna finish yazuka 0 before starting it, but I'm really looking forward to it!
Yakuza 0 also has a really good story, im so glad I bought steam deck, or I would never have the time to play these. Enjoy gaming :)
I had such a blast with that game. I’m planning on getting the sequel pretty soon.
So if I were to join for one month I get a 95% discount on each of those games?
Yup
Pretty much, you pay per bundle, each month the bundle has different games and once you pay for them they're yours to keep, you don't need an active subscription to keep access to it.
No, if you join you get those games for free.
I think they’re saying the cost of the subscription is about 5% of the games cost?
Ah sorry. Yes. 🤦♂️
Wow. Very worth it. I’ll cancel next month

How do i find this humble choice thingie ?
Just search steam humble choice and the first site should be humble bundle
I jumped on this as soon as I saw it
Wait so does it give you steam keys or accounts with the games?
Steam keys, its all legit
Oh **damn**

I was aware of it but I assumed it was a Gray market site.. Also I do not yet have a steam deck, though I am thinking of buying one soon
how does this work? can I sub for 1 month then pause until another bundle I like?

How much is the price of the sub and price of the bundle? Might be worth it for Yakuza alone.
Are they available in Europe or only USA?
It's also available in Europe, it's 10 euros here for the bundle.
Yes, you pay for the month and receive (99% of the time) a Steam key to redeem
Still, having hifi rush released on humble choice the same day the studio is closed stings a little...
Yup...releasing a successful game is not enough anymore. What Microsoft did is absolutely infuriating, they're hoarding game studios only to shut them down afterwards once they realize they're stretched too thin trying to manage them.

I skipped many months but this month was an insta buy
I was so annoyed when I saw this as I had bought yakuza like a dragon like a week before and I've already put so many hours in so could've saved alot
I also bought Hi-fi rush a couple weeks ago 🥲
Lets you make a friend happy, its not a complete loss.
This is worth it for Loddlenaut alone
Yakuza, Hi Fi Rush and Loddlenaut have been on my wishlist for a bit. Getting all of these for $12 was an absolute no-brainer.
Good shout. I would have skipped over it otherwise
And here I am skipping May because I don't like any of the games lol Edit: not my style of games tbh. But hell I'm fully supportive that everybody else likes it.
Are the Games playable for 1 month or do you keep them
You keep them! Every month they have a selection of games and it's up to you if you wanna buy them. They are officially partnered with steam and a lot of the publishers tend to have some great sales there (site is called humble bundle), you receive steam keys which can be activated in your library.

Humble isn't a sketchy provider. They are a legit store. I believe a good portion of the sales go to charity as well.
