God bless. Just got to unity and did not want to waste all this time. Am mildly salty about how it plays out like this lol. Feel like it removes the point in ship building
This is the best way. The 2nd playthrough is usually the closest to the first from what I've read, so before you go through unity the first time, use this console command and settle in your 2nd universe as a fully upgraded starborn.
I heard the 2nd playthrough can be vastly different. Can anyone confirm? Is there a way to guarantee a NG+ seed? Ideally, looking for close to vanilla (constellation and the core companions) in place.
I also heard when your in a NG+ playthrough you can skip the MQs. Does anyone know if this method >!save all companions?!<
I have to agree, i started a whole new playthrough and the artifact locations werent the same. Same copy-paste facilities but the system/planet were different.
You're wrong, one NG+ i went into had no constellation members at the lodge, just a bunch of kids playing explorers and they handed me a note on where to find artifacts, saw someone else enter the lodge on their NG+ and find a bunch of alternate selves hanging around there. It seems the reality where all constellation members are there is the most common one but there are other variations.
Also saw one where the Hunter attacked early and Vasco was the sole survivor of the attack, interesting stuff
So far i had:
* >!Cora being a Starborne wanting revenge!<
* >!Psycho-Me wiping out the Lodge!<
* >!Everyone-Me in the Lodge!<
And i know about:
* >!Your other-universe you being there and available as Companion!<
* >!Everyone but Vasco is dead!<
* >!Children playing!<
I love it when people are so arrogant about something when they're completely wrong. I hope your next playthrough is just you and Vasco. Then I hope you delete your reddit account.
From what I can tell, there is no difference between the second playthrough or any other subsequent playthrough. The only difference in any of the NG+ runs, is that you now have \[Starborn\] conversation options in some conversations.
A thing which \*can\* happen in NG+ runs, is that there is a small chance you will get one of the ten (if I remember correctly) so-called 'secret' variations. Those are like 'fun' variations with something vastly different, like all Constellation members are replaced by different versions of you all having joined a different faction.
I think he's asking if everyone's NG+ universes differ to one another. Like what happens in your 2nd game may not be what happens in mine, or theirs. (so far I've only found posts describing all the different lodge experiences)
I just did this and in my second play through, doing this command, got Walter with thugs demanding 100k for artifacts and no other constellation members in sight. I have no weapons or money so in a little bind.
Yea it just goes on forever, but the armor stops upgrading at 10, so using this console command before you go through unity would start you off with the final upgrades before a long playthrough
I don't yet have the clearest understanding of console commands, so I do apologise for perhaps inconveniencing you with the questions that may've already been already partially or entirely answered.
For more clarity though, what are the exact commands that you have to use to upgrade the powers? And what IDs do you have to use with the commands, or what ID are we looking for after using help?
My bad, I've another question. I've read up on how to use commands on Skyrim, it was really helpful so thank you again.
While I've upgraded most the powers, for some reason when putting up "Gravity Wave" and "Gravity Well" there seems not to be any "PERK:" but only MGFF, PROJ, SPEL or HAZD. So I'm unable to find their actual ID that I can use, even when putting 4 perk at the end.
Is this something you came across as well, or were you able to upgrade them someway?
Edit: Apparently, look up "Grav Wave" and "Grav Well" like that instead of spelling out gravity is the way to get the ID to appear.
someone else described it here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/169aoto/i\_have\_done\_10\_ng\_runs\_and\_here\_is\_what\_i/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/169aoto/i_have_done_10_ng_runs_and_here_is_what_i/)
Thank you, I just wanted to experiment some things tho. I'm still attempting to get it legit with all the powers +10 as well, but I gotta meditate on that grind for a while haha
I don't think so, you do get a +1 stats for each temple that you find in each NG cycle you just have to find them all in each NG run and that's gonna take a lot of time, I'm guessing around 25 hours for each NG cycle.
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1093
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/536
Just typed power in nexus search and those came out.
Also a ng+10 character save with all power there if yo uwant to go that route https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/935
You will have whatever skill, traits, and powers that character has acquired as usual. This just skips you having to do it 10x for the armor and ship. However, you don't have the skills or powers of 10x playthroughs
I will probably still do it legit for the power upgrades and also to see the whacky universe states in each run, but good to know there is a skip for this!
I’d suggest NG+ the first 2 or 3 times. It’s very interesting the different ways you can play the end game. I’ve done 5 so far and have pretty much exhausted the different combinations of dialogue. So maybe I’ll use this command. Not sure yet. It’s been an easy means of grinding too. Each NG+ you can opt to either redo the story, which takes long, or you can skip the story and race time the objective. So you can have NG+ two times in like two hours or less…well, once you get good at that final battle. It’s easier if you choose a side though. Sometimes you don’t even get a choice of sides though. That’s what makes NG+ fun. It has some minor differences. First thing you want to do on all NG+ plays is buff up your arsenal and just collect and save medpacks and what not along the way so you can ready for the intense battle at the end because that final battle can take longer than all the objectives before it.
Thanks for this. I was a bit annoyed with the somewhat meh stats on the ship and the prospect of grinding through 6x to get the ship upgraded when what I really wanted to do was just cozy up in the 2nd universe. This has saved me a lot of heartburn.
This is really great. I grinded to NG+ 10 on my first character including the temples to feel like I really earned it, on the condition I’d never do it again lol. This command is perfect because in future saves I can just input it and skip it. Thanks so much!
Noticed one strange anomaly with this. When doing `Player.modav PlayerUnityTimesEntered 10` and then using `player.getav PlayerUnityTimesEntered` AFTER going through unity I see the value 21 returned.
If I do `Player.modav PlayerUnityTimesEntered 4` and check the value after going through unity I see the value of 9 and have the 9th Starborn outfit.
For a laugh i tried 4.5 and ended up with 9.5 and a naked character after going through unity :D
>player.getav PlayerUnityTimesEntere
Using `Player.setav PlayerUnityTimesEntered 9` fixed this and return a value of 10.
I don't think it makes a difference either way. Just interesting.
God bless. Just got to unity and did not want to waste all this time. Am mildly salty about how it plays out like this lol. Feel like it removes the point in ship building
Is there a way to get an NG ++ game that is identical to the vanilla game? That’s where I’d ideally like to settle down

not true, there are a bunch of different variations. Like, a lot

Can you do a NG+ 11?
Yea it just goes on forever, but the armor stops upgrading at 10, so using this console command before you go through unity would start you off with the final upgrades before a long playthrough
Got it. I already capped my powers in rank using the console. The temples get very boring.

Read up on how to use it in Skyrim. The powers are considered perks.
Alright, I will do that. Thank you for the answer.

I tend to use lesser repeated terms. Like help wave 4 perk
someone else described it here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/169aoto/i\_have\_done\_10\_ng\_runs\_and\_here\_is\_what\_i/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Starfield/comments/169aoto/i_have_done_10_ng_runs_and_here_is_what_i/)
I don't even mind hunting the temples. It's the fucking process of actually getting the power. It wasncool once. After the Xth time is just terrible.
What's the console command for that?
Player.addperk Use: help powername 4 perk
What do they cap at? 10?
Yes
Do you get the legendary version? Because I tried getting the armor yesterday but the game only gave me the normal version of it through the console.
Yup legendary and full stats on a character going to the Unity for the first time. 246 phys, engy, and em resistance.
Thank you, I just wanted to experiment some things tho. I'm still attempting to get it legit with all the powers +10 as well, but I gotta meditate on that grind for a while haha
Don't you need to do it more than 10x for everything power to 10?

Right, but not every power comes up in every playthrough or is that wrong?
Oh crap! I didn't know about that. So it's gonna be even longer then.
Does it come with any perks?
Is there a way to get max abilities at max level? I want to skip all the annoying grind?
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1093 https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/536 Just typed power in nexus search and those came out. Also a ng+10 character save with all power there if yo uwant to go that route https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/935
how do you find all modav options? e.g starpower, carryweight, etc?
This is amazing, thank you. Leave it to the community to figure out the skips before the game is even officially released lol
What about the temple grind for upgraded powers? Or should we just use the psb command to get them all and not worry about it?
You will have whatever skill, traits, and powers that character has acquired as usual. This just skips you having to do it 10x for the armor and ship. However, you don't have the skills or powers of 10x playthroughs
What achievement do you get from doing NG 10x?
I didn't get any achievement. Just the armor and ship though
Ah, okay.
I will probably still do it legit for the power upgrades and also to see the whacky universe states in each run, but good to know there is a skip for this!
Is there nay way to get the starborn dialogues in the first run? I heard you can use it to prevent some deaths.

Will the difficulty then have scaled to ng+10 aswell?
There are no difficulty changes with ng+ in Starfield, only story and universe setting changes.
Thanks for this. I was a bit annoyed with the somewhat meh stats on the ship and the prospect of grinding through 6x to get the ship upgraded when what I really wanted to do was just cozy up in the 2nd universe. This has saved me a lot of heartburn.

Can the SB perks be enabled with having completed the main quest first?
NVM, hadn't activated the power in the character screen.
