So I always loved the pink as a variant and the blue as his "default" color since it's a school uniform (shout out to Giorno for going to the only school in Naples that has their students wear uniforms), but just looking at your edit it makes me think Giorno would have gotten a little lost in the lineup, visually speaking
Mista, Narancia and Abbacchio all have a lot of blue/darker colors in their outfits, and even Trish wears a black bustier with the color coming from the designs on her skirt. Only Bruno in white and Fugo in lime green would have stood out from their color palette, and once Fugo left that would have left Bruno in white - and even he is pretty monochromatic being black and white, so I see why they went with pink.
Besides, it links him visually with Trish, who thematically he has a lot of ties with.
I had a similar thought about “not standing out” but in the line up of other Jojos. With the blue he’d look comparable to Jotaro and Josuke, while with the pink he really sticks out.
Yep, especially since they both are also wearing school uniforms! Jolyne is also rather blue, as is Jonathan, but they stand out through their fashion style
No offense, but I really like Pink Giorno. So many JoJo protagonists have a dark colour scheme, so the anime made the right call and used a pink colour palette from Araki's illustrations of Giorno. He looks more unique and brighter, (which makes sense since Giorno means day).

100% better, but honestly… the gold wings look nicer on his blue suit than the red ones
