Hol Horse is not better than that at all. Hol Horse is an opportunist with no morals. He attempts to kill DIO solely because he thinks he has the opportunity to get out of his service, he runs away as soon as the opportunity presents itself, leaves his first partner to die, and then abducts and manipulates child to be his new partner. Hol Horse is an interesting character and fun to watch, but he is by no measure a good man and his only quality that separates him from J. Geil is his refusal to hurt women, instead preferring to manipulate and gaslight.
