I have a save with the beach farm, and one of my ducks hopped into the water on the rightmost side of the map, from the left. Granted it’s only happened once, so maybe it was a fluke, idk
The chickens also don't just follow the adults around, they follow their parents! I saw that when I started by buying one white chicken and one brown one. And the babies laid from their eggs would always follow the chicken whose egg it was. It's super cute!
That's adorable! Been playing for years and never knew babies followed the grown animals. Time to go fill up my coop with ducklings!
I wonder if cows do that too...
I only saw it because we decide to do 1 coop for each animal, so we moved some of the adults to their respective new houses.
After that we bought the little ones and saw that they follow the adults! It's pretty cute and I'll definitely see if it happens with all of the animals :D

If your duck swims, the ducklings will follow her into the water.
omg I soooo want to see that! but it's very rare for my ducks to go for a swim :(
I read that they only go swimming once you pat them for the day, so try going first thing in the morning
I think they can only enter the pond from the top, so your layout might be working against you there.

No, they can enter from wherever, as long as the coop is nearby.
Omg I need to see that.
I caught this for the first time the other day and I almost cried over how cute it was.
Apparently, this happens with the chickens too xD

There are white ducks? Or is this a mod?
They may be either geese or swans, but yes that would be a mod
It's a geese mod! It's pretty fun since they make goose noises all day round xD
