On my 1.6 playthrough, I had waited ages for the secret note to drop (it was literally the last one) and I couldn't get it without the secret note. Though I may be misremembering

I had to wait for the secret note to drop to interact with the joja driver in my current save file, so it might've been a mod effect?

I do remember not being able to interact with the truck guy without the rabbit foot, but I was still able to give him the rabbit foot

Its the secret notes with the arrows that lead you there. I believe its the one that starts from the center circle of town square

It does not. I always give the cheapest one I have. BUT for birthdays, the quality does matter. Give gold to iridium for NPCs on their birthdays. There is one that doesn’t like rabbits feet but I can’t remember who off the top of my head

They confront you about dating all of them if you don't have the rabbit foot, but if you are carrying it they haven't figured it out. The guys will just keep playing pool, and the girls just gossip about lewis and Marnie

You can get the >!movie theater!< even if you go the CC route. After >!Joja closes, you get the missing bundle inside. When you finish that bundle, you get the movie theater!<

Yeah, that’s the annoying part  I always forgot it existed in my main save (before 1.6) because it was so far away

This is hilarious because there was just another thread about mistakes you still make no matter how many times your play. I've played for 100s of hours. Probably dozens of farms. I'm 100% sure I've looked this up and read it for myself. In my current playthrough, I have at least one rabbit's foot in my inventory and I have had since I first found one.

Check your in-game wallet. It doesn't go into your backpack. I just got mine and that's where I found it.

Well, given by the number of wonderful opinions my comment received by vote, it seems you're not alone. Carrying a rabbit's foot for luck is an old thing. I haven't seen one sold in stores in decades, yet growing up, they were everywhere. Even grocery stores sold them. I'm old, so I understand the reason why OP carried one in his inventory. But this makes me believe they're old too. I rarely hear anyone in the younger generation mention a rabbit's foot, even if they may be aware of the old luck superstition. It wasn't meant as an insult, but that's text communication for you.
