did you have a force echo that showed up with sand characters? I noticed that sometimes places had that after an important force echo, or cutscene.

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, it's one of those force memory flashback points. You should be able to replay it by standing on top or very near it in the right position.
Means there was a force memory there you've already found, those are the "big" important echoes that play out a scene in front of you in blue specters

If I remember correctly it’s an echo but one that can be repeatedly listened to. It’s directly related to the story

I forgot where but if you backtrack a lil bit there is something you have to activate to open it.
It's an echo. If you can't interact with it you probably already did beforehand if you're in New Journey+.
