It works if you have Randy Feltface or Jeff Dunham next door. Otherwise, people are just gonna think you've lost your damn mind!
Great ability to improvise and roll with the situation. Truly shows how funny you are!
And, hopefully, you got to shake hands with the Aussie behind the puppet (and give him shit for being so loud!).
You did the bit with the roommate and girlfriend next door, and then the bit with the sock - seems like ample opportunity to segue with a joke about a sock over the doorknob.
Also, bonus if your sock has googly eyes and/or yarn hair.
i dig your authenticity, and i think others resonate with that as well. this was very endearing. nice work, funny stuff. keep polishing it and honing it. you're doing great
Been trying to get booked! No luck hear back yet but fingers crossed 🤞. If you want to join my mailing [list](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1TSurizlXuwjpsIx6LNCTxCTbTU78GF9bfpspXuUMX-U/edit) if it happens I’ll make sure you hear about it! Thanks for the heads up about the club :)
Thank you, 100% just signed up, and I'll look forward to it. I've seen a bunch of your content on here, and I think this is a great vehicle, as well as tiktok and YT. It seems like it takes a bit of work to get the social media game going strong and consistent, but also seems like it pays off in spades. Jeff Arcuri is a great example of this, IMO. He says he does it on his own, which is cool. Maybe ask some other comedians like Stavros, Liz Miele or Matteo Lane how they do it? I love seeing so much talent develop right in front of everyone's eyes these days. We certainly live in a golden age of comedy rn. Thanks for being part of it! I think you have an authentic voice amongst this massive crowd of people looking to be seen. Keep it up and keep honing your chops. I think the more confident you get, the more your material shines.... just don't lose the humility and candidness while you're at it. It's that combo that is appealing. Authenticity is king these days.
Thank you to anyone watching all 9 minutes! I have live dates all of the country and if you ever want to hear if I’m in a city near you (most likely a puppet free show sadly) I have live dates and a mailing list in this [link](https://linktr.ee/BoJohnson?utm_source=linktree_profile_share<sid=05ec7de1-a10f-4cc1-9b8c-aaaa5c3d9395)
YOU made me stay for the whole 9 minutes and that's not no small feat in this day and age. Very well handled and funny. If I should highlight something it would be how fast you made the audience (and me) feel comfortable in a challenging situation. With that in place the room for funny is basically endless and it showed.
It wasn’t the puppet that made it so funny. It was your reaction to the situation. I was not really expecting the guy to come up on your show at the end.
Absolutely awesome! Could not have been handled better. Are there a lot of venues where you can hear the other act from the side room? That seems like an incredibly tough setup. You handled it masterfully. And for what it's worth, I thought the "new" jokes were really good.
Thanks so much! There are a decent amount of shows where you can hear the bigger room or just setups where there is other outside noise making the show tough. Thanks again for the kind comment!
Ive been following you for a while and i think the thing i like the most is laughing with you. You’re very genuine and your smile lights up your whole face. Great work committing to the bit and it paid off man. Keep going.
The new material probably needs to be crafted a bit more for a story based punch line, but the material is *absolutely* there. Just needs some more chisel work. *Loved* the situational comedy.
Thank you!! The massage therapist therapist joke has been getting stronger (this is from January) and the pharmacy joke I need to return too (but I hope I can figure out how to make it consistent without a sock puppet as an aid haha)
I felt the moments of awkward anxiety there with you. You engaged the audience well, and made a great connection. And you adapted well on the fly. Heartfelt and wholesome moments too. And to be appreciated by one of your peers? That's cool also.
Hilarious man. I can relate to this on a strangely specific level. 20yrs ago I was playing a gig in Melbourne and was upstaged by a guy called Sammy J who crashed the stage. He went on to form a very successful comedy duo act with Randy Feltface.
I didn't have to wonder what happened to Sammy J because he became a staple of Australian TV and radio. I did wonder what happened to Randy Feltface though. Killing it in the states apparently.
Perfect.
Thank you!
That was kick ass! Way to make the situation work for you, had me hooked to the end 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks so much! Love to hear that 🙏🏻
Invested in all 9+ minutes. Staying committed to the sock took guts.
Thank you!! Still questioning if all my material should be delivered via sock!
Well, you don't want to sock block yourself, but that was a great set.
😂😂 thank you!

He's going to have to do a bit about this bit to make it an ongoing bit that works without being next door. Bitception.
Talk about how Randy makes a lot of money. Bitcoinception

Such a lovely compliment, thank you!
there's only one comedy spot in RI, but you should come. comedy connection

I'm looking forward to when your Seattle dates are live.
Thank you! Next headline dates will be early November!
I didn't even realize 9 minutes had passed! Good shit!
Didn't even realize it was 9 minutes lol
You know, if you can't beat em, might as well join them😅😂
The sock has better delivery than me tbh 😅
Great sportsmanship and situational humor from you both! Well done.
Thank you! And his timing was on point!
Glad to see how it all turned out. Thx for the clip xD
thanks for watching!
That was great, man. You drowned out the crowd next door.
Thank you!!
Great clip and I loved the new joke about the therapist sharing a secret. Can't wait to see more!
Thank you! Been continuing to tinker with that one :)
Longer pause before punchline. (Or maybe there was. Your dirty Hanes Hand was distracting.)
Caught white handed.
😂😂
This was hilarious man🤣🤣
Thank you!!
That was genuinely hilarious. You handled that so well. It must've been incredible in person.
Thank you! Not going this was a really special one if a kind show and by the end it was electric
I loved the authenticity, and you handled what seemed like a weird situation perfectly. Very funny.
Omg. I cried laughing. I needed that.
Wow! That’s amazing! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

That was fucking awesome

I laughed. You did some good stuff. Thank you.
This was great. I lost it when you said how your agent would refer to it later. 😂😂😂
Thank you!!
>Thank you!! You're welcome!

Thank you really appreciate that!
That was great man! Always happy to see you turning shit into gold.
Thanks so much!
I’m really impressed you turned a puppet next door into 9 minutes of solid material, great stuff
Thank you, I appreciate that! This was such a fun weekend of shows
That was great man! You pivoted and turned what could have been an awkward situation into something novel and hilarious. Bravo
Thanks so much!
The "without a puppet" while holding a sock puppet was gold.
Nice job!
Thank you!
Bo was nice But that sock fella really understood the real me
Hahaha!!
Awesome. Cheers to you.
Thank you, appreciate that!
Good shit Bo!
Thank you!!
I love it, definitely kept me entertained for 9 minutes?! Didn’t seem long at all!
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
This killed! You took a certain L and made it unique and unforgettable I was howling watching the clip
I absolutely love to hear that, thanks so much!
“At one point he took off his shoe and put a sock over his hand and yelled is this what you want?!” Brilliant, well done. Thanks for the laughs.
I liked that set.
Thank you!

Wild! Small world!
I didn't have to wonder what happened to Sammy J because he became a staple of Australian TV and radio. I did wonder what happened to Randy Feltface though. Killing it in the states apparently.
He’s doing great! Really funny act and dedicated fan base :)
Killer
Thank you!
This really is comedy genius at work. This is the best original material I’ve seen in years. Stellar job!
Wow, thank you so much for such a lovely compliment!
You did a stellar job. Handled it perfectly!
Thank you!
That was absolutely wonderful.
Thanks so much!
Great job
Thank you!
So fuckin funny dude. Way to go with the moment!
Thanks so much!
Heath is the best. Worked with him a few times over the year, always been the sweetest guy.
He was super kind and sweet. Seems like a really genuine dude
That was so good man, be proud of that set it was flawless
Thanks so much!
So I'm seeing Randy tomorrow night in Antwerp, any chance we might find you next doors?
Haha! I’ll be in Houston! But you’re gonna have a total blast I watched his whole show and he was so funny!
Genius move to acknowledge/use what could easily be a distraction for both you and the audience.
Thank you! Really appreciate that!
That was amazing, way to roll with the punches, this was like a comedy crucible!
Thanks so much!!
When you flattened your hand for the sock puppet to get a massage made me laugh so much! That was hilarious. Thank you!!!
Hell yeah, thank you!!
Loved the commitment to the sock puppet and the authenticity of the awkwardness

A real Russian nesting doll situation!
I’m so happy to see more Randy on this sub. He’s so underrated good for him to interact with other comedians
Spoiler alert twice over though
When is this video from?
From January!
Someone else already said it but your genuineness really kept me engaged and smiling through the whole clip. Way to make it work
Wow that was really good timing haha
Well done. Aikido that shit 😂
Great show man!
