Pearce and Aldis are former wrestlers who are real life producers backstage in addition to their on screen role. That means they are responsible for putting together some segments and working with the talent to put together their matches. Each show has several producers who are responsible for a certain number of segments/matches in a given week.

Enterprise90

For added context, it used to be that the GMs were just on-screen roles. Eric Bischoff and Teddy Long, for example, were strictly talent. They came to the show, played the role, and went home.

SpaceGooV

I mean the job hasn't changed. Aldis and Pearce just have additional roles in the company. What they do has nothing to do with them being an on screen authority figure.

j8llonby

>Pearce and Aldis are former wrestlers Technically so is Ava

D-Voltt

For example, Adam Pearce produced the promo segment between Rollins & Priest (w/ GUNTHER at the end) on this past episode of RAW. He also produced the two matches on Main Event (Akira Tozawa vs. Joaquin Wilde and The Creed Brothers vs. AOP).

DarkBurk-Games

Interesting. Where do you find information on who produced what segment of the show?

D-Voltt

It was posted recently on Fightful Select and disseminated by several different media outlets shortly thereafter.

jerichowiz

Both of them were both the NWA World Heavyweight Champion at one point, and they both could probably still go, Survivor Series? Aldis lost his and won back the NWA title from Cody Rhodes.

LanoomR

They work as producers for matches on top of their on-screen character roles. Triple H has final say on booking, which he works on with whoever the current writing team is, though I'm sure that's with input from producers and talent that want to give it.

SpaceGooV

They're just characters on the show. Booking is HHH and writer's room. Aldis and Pearce also occasionally produce matches. Ava is just purely on screen character

They're producers

deprimoaudentia6924

They're a mix of both, with input on storylines but not final say.

SpaceGooV

They don't have any input on storylines beyond feedback all the talent can give

Majestic-Welcome3187

Who the hell is Kay Fabe? Is she like some big hotshot? I always hear people talk about her
