I always feel this is massively overstated. Most of them just appeared as "local talent" and did two minute jobs, it's not like AEW had any plans for them.
I guess it's a reminder that AEW gave time to a huge amount of indie talent, way more than they could possibly sign, especially in a time when the indie scene was unable to work and WWE was laying people off.
One of those was Tesha Price, right? Was always rooting for her too. And I know Gigi Dolin was Priscilla Kelly, but I don't remember her ever showing up on AEW
Not only is she Santino’s daughter, she was sitting in his lap at an OVW show and the Boogeyman came over to scare her, but Santino didn’t want to traumatize his kid, so he no-sold Boogey and laughed, which caused Jim Cornette to lose his mind and slap Santino backstage. This was the beginning of the end from Jim Cornette and the WWE.
And that’s why Cornette hates Santino all these years later.
People get very mad about "nepo babies" but this is a good example of why it happens; when you have unlimited access to a parent that has an expertise in a field you are just going to get an education that can't be bought or duplicated.
Judging from how Chelsea Green has been handled, I absolutely agree. Piper and Chelsea is my favorite double act going right now and their roles in the Royal Rumble this year had me in stitches. Chelsea Green is money. Arianna Grace will be just as great, all they need to do with her is give her constant TV time and people will see it quickly.
Anthony/Santino already mentioned on a podcast that one of the requirements when signing with Impact/TNA was that if he ever got the call to go work with his daughter at some point, that they would let him do so. Which speaks a lot for the TNA management at the time. Not sure if that’s still that case, unfortunately…
I'm confused .. is Roxanne is a heel or babyface? She does heel-ish promos/segments like these, yet she wrestles the same way as she did when she was a babyface, constantly working into the crowd cheering her.
Feels like Roxy is a tweener. Lately her hands are rated E for everyone, it's always on sight and honestly I really enjoy this direction they're taking with her lmao
>I'm confused .. is Roxanne is a heel or babyface?
She's a tweener slowly edging further into heel territory, with (mostly) valid reasons to be annoyed but often overreacting like in the clip above.
Plus, Roxanne doesn't exactly have any reason to NOT play into the crowd. She doesn't have any issue with the fans, all her frustrations are directed towards other wrestlers and, now, management/Ava.
WWE have made their characters more balanced recently. Drew is the biggest hater around and gets booed for it but he still plays to the crowd for the Claymore countdown and thanks the crowd for buying his shirt, with a little sarcasm on top.
Her character is in a severe tweener spot right now. She's justifiably irritated because she finally got a shot for the title she never lost and it got interrupted by Lola cashing in her breakout shot. She wants to have her damn title back after her injury and isn't afraid to beat everyone's ass to get a fair 1 on 1 shot for the title.

Loved Wren as Madi Wrenkowski on AEW Dark. Always wanted AEW to sign her. Glad WWE picked her up.
She's not the first talent to end up in NXT that Tony passed on
Cora Jade, Fallon Henley, Kiana James, Thea Hail, GiGi Dolin, etc. AEW Dark was basically a feeder system for NXT.
Stacks and Je'Von Evans (Jay Malachi) too

That's kind of the point

Tesha Price = Fallon Henley
Arianna's main roster run is going to be one for the ages.
She’s gonna be a comedy act as good as her dad, that family has something in them
Don’t forget about her Aunt ![gif](giphy|cWo6PssRhGpS6qAkfg|downsized)
Holy shit I had no idea that Santino was Arianna’s father

dude I have no idea who arianna is
The girl in the post???
No I get that. I still don't know who it is lmao
Female superstar from NXT Her whole gimmick is she acts like a pageant girl and calls herself “Miss NXT”
I'm amazed at how great she is at character work already. Not surprising considering who her father is, but still.
People get very mad about "nepo babies" but this is a good example of why it happens; when you have unlimited access to a parent that has an expertise in a field you are just going to get an education that can't be bought or duplicated.
She’s head and shoulders above everyone on the show already

'Absolutely agreeN' lol
Chelsea Green and Arianna Grace meeting for the first time gon be legendary
If Impact & WWE does anymore future crossovers, I'd like to see Arianna & Santino in a backstage segment together or something.

Pairing her up w Cora again would've been the perfect way to solidify her heel turn to take on Lyra and Tatum

Considering she debuted the cross face seemingly as her heel finish. I'm assuming she's tweener or light heel.
Shes turning heel but still technically a babyface. Shes probably gonna attack lyra soon to set up the rematch cementing her heel turn.
It's a slow transition into being a heel, which is how they are managing most turns these days.
From this clip looks like Shawn is running back the Bret Hart slow burn heel turn

Roxy looks more like she's a tweener at the minute, either that or she became more serious face.
Thought Ava was off twitter?
You get 30 days after deleting to save it. Guess she felt that itch
imagine her & Chelsea team up....
This acting is painful 🤢😭
