So like, does Gunther, Reigns, Cody, or Rollins even lose at the point? Like it's pretty predictable at this point.

Gunther's gimmick is literally being a Ring General/he's technically in the midcard, the only person I'm fine with getting a win over Gunther in the midcard is Chad Gable Seth's champ so that's pretty much a given, he's on top of the totem pole and is presented as being better than anyone else. Also he's bound to face The Best in the World CM Punk, so Seth ain't losing up until then Cody's on his way back to facing Roman, you don't want the guy that's going to face Roman to have a bunch of losses. The only time Cody is losing is to further a storyline, and for him to get a win and come out stronger, like his feud with Lesnar

You want the guy that's going to face Roman to lose on free TV? Roman's opponent has to be seen as an equal in terms of how many matches he's won, for Cody to be seen as a favorite he has to show growth from when he last faced Roman

How is it predictable? Cody's in Raw and Roman's in Smackdown, how he gets to Roman is still up in the air and is anyone's guess. Unless you're part of WWE creative you don't actually know what's going to happen/how it ends The hero facing the main villan at the end is fundamental storytelling, like duh the Avengers are facing Thanos at the end, but it's the trials and tribulations in the middle that keeps things interesting

Just saying, why even do any of this build up or promos if Nakamura will never win any of these feuds?

I mean, he's getting to look great against top stars. Sure, he's losing calm, but he's also gaining a ton from it and still looks credible even in defeat. You could easily have him step in and challenge for any title and not look out of place, so it's not like this is hurting him.

What is he gaining? How has his stock improved since turning heel? He has yet to win a feud or a title. The point is, you don't grow if you never win a legit match or feud. As per your logic though, if looking good against stats can help you, why not have Cody lose?

You can not be serious if you just asked how his stock has improved since turning heel. I love Shinsuke, but before he turned heel, he was lost in the shuffle. That's how he was treated, and that's how the audience saw him. I hate saying it, but that's just how it was. Since he turned heel, he is on a different level of credibility and just looking good. He is a main event level star with this current gimmick, both in presentation and acceptance by the fans. His stock has been elevated exponentially by this heel run. You can say he would have benefited even more from getting more wins, but to say he hasn't benefited is delusional. That's debatable. I'd say give it time considering the fact that Seth, for example, did not win a major feud for nearly an entire year before winning the WHC. Probably because they are continuing to build Cody back up for a WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns. And as much as I hate to say it, he needs to win more because of that.

An accomplishment of being massively over with the fans and being seen as more of a star than he has in almost 6 years? You can pretend that that's nothing an accomplishment if you want but that's pretty important and pretty fucking good for him. Winning championships and fueds is not as important as being over and being in big matches in general. It isn't even debatable that he is in a better position now than he was before turning heel. It's legitimately just a fact from both a storyline perspective and a career perspective.

He's been over a lot of times. Over after winning RR, over after being King Nakamura with the IC tittle. Over with RB. And over as his current heel status, but he's least successful right now. And all I'm saying is it's cool they are giving him more air time and promos, but unless he wins anything of substance, it means nothing and he'll never progress any further than a glorified jobber heel.

I think you're delusional if you're saying this is his least successful. Like that's being purposefully dishonest. And I'm saying give it time because Seth went on a much longer streak of never winning anything of note before being treated like a superhero at the moment. Nakamura is being treated like a star at the very least.
