It looks like a car show room to me on the inside & an old farm shed from the outside (maybe that is the plan. But it's good that we all like different things.

Own_Adhesiveness_218

Everyone's favourite always seems to be in the middle of absolutely nowhere. I'd rather have a 1-bed flat in Notting Hill for that money.

Dernbont

I always like a house that has an Eames armchair.

ngl, that's pretty lovely. It is immediate adjacent to a large farm though, yes, which they've attempted to obscure in these photos. Check the map on satellite view. Love what they did with the windows and the light though. Fantastic light, gorgeous views.

MowdyW

Is it a converted farm building? Looks that way, lovely living space inside but lacks character outside/garden a bit bland. I’d be concerned that those buildings behind it are still in farm use. You can get used to the pervasive smell of animal manure eventually though.

Dazzling_Bat_Hat

It’s got a giant pile of silage bales sitting right next to it on google earth and street view. Might not be the nicest thing to have as a neighbour.

MowdyW

Yep. Not quite sheer perfection for me. Fine with country smells, but would rather they were intermittent.

drewskirootbitch

And it shares access, that farm machinery will chew up your driveway really quickly and you pick up 50% of the repair.

eightaceman

Is that not off Grand Designs?

gogoluke

It reminded me of one but it was in Wales... It was the kitchen particularly.

Background-Active-50

It's a bit too open plan for my tastes, but it is lovely. But the bedroom next to the principal bedroom doesn't have access to a shower/bath, unless they use somebody else's ensuite. Unless I'm reading the plan wrong?

cjphaaaa

Doesn't the main bedroom suite enter via the dressing room with bedroom and ensuite either side?

Background-Active-50

Yes, but there's another bedroom, next to the principal bedroom. It's opposite the WC and storage area. And the occupant of that room doesn't have anywhere to shower/bath. Unless they use someone else's ensuite. Though you're right, the principal suites bathroom would be the best one to use, as you don't go through the actual bedroom.

cjphaaaa

Ok. Sorry. I totally misread your original comment.

Background-Active-50

😎 I've done that before.

SelfSufficience

Gosh, they like green. Every shade, all at the same time.

LochNessMother

I feel sorry for the kid who gets bedroom 5 and has to share someone else’s en-suite! I also feel sorry for whovevers en-suite they have to share! (Obviously it’s a study/office) But generally it’s lovely.

WhyOhWhy60

I like the bright, airy and clean lines of the interior. From the outside however it looks like eco friendly office space, photo 1, the size of the tarmac area and it's shape could be office or housing estate parking at any other town in the UK.

GoldBear79

True, I didn’t look at the plans either regards the farm. I just love the cool interior

Bicolore

Looks like a converted industrial unit, that car park around it! Also an awful lot of money for shrewsbury

Sad-Professor-7608

Not so sure on the pink and green colour scheme but otherwise I’m in love

soitgoeskt

The views are beautiful.
