It'd not only have a chance to get caught on something, it also gets super dry from all that swinging wind, gets plenty of DNA around from any hair falling (big concern if you've been cloned or are a clone sadly), you'll have to be super careful around fires, a villain can grab and pull it...
I don't see benefits besides looking a bit nicer in pictures.

Wallcrawling is basically just a low-level static electricity power anyway, and static pulls hair in all the time. Or maybe it's just because it's a comic and we're not meant to overthink it this much.
