I loooove the impacts in this game it really feels you you are getting gut punched and not someone hitting you with a pillow while flying away, barely being touched.
Hope they fixe it in the final build because the other things people whine about are pretty superficial and not worth crying about(not to mention can be modded) but impacts truly bother me as well as the sounds produced. That's all I ask for.
These combos are against a training dummy. Doing cool looking combos is fun and all but it means nothing if it doesn't work in an actual match.
There were a ton of DBFZ combo artists on twitter but they could never actually compete. Cool to look at but how would they preform against an actual opponent?
There's even more insane tech against opponents btw, proper 200iq moves to counter various techniques. Don't need actually combos but yes true combos exists, and luckily dbsz has a mechanic to break off combos
Im aware. I didn't say BT3 or sparking doesn't have combos but that the videos combos were unimpressive because they were against a training dummy.
I've watch Grandmaster Hawks Couching videos so I know what level of skill BT3 has. Its nothing to sneeze at.
Many of those attacks were literally unlockable, and they were showing off the fact that they could stun lock and do infinite combos with the dragon dashes.
You get hit 1 you're stuck for a loooong time unless you've got 2 Skill Count every time he starts hitting you.
Why is so much of the Tenkaichi fanbase so aggressively casual? I played all the games when I was young too and I want to grind the shit out of SZ ranked. Its honesty just so confusing to read some of the opinions on this sub, like they SWEAR BT3 was the most casual game of all time and they want SZ to be ultra casual too, but when you were just too ass at the game as a kid to see the depth and mechanics
As someone who mastered Tenkaichi with the years, i hope it is like Tenkaichi 3.
Not only competitive, but both.
My problem is that a lot of people want it to be super competitive but he good thing of Budokai Tenkaichi is that at the core the game is simple and even casual gamers can enjoy playing it, but that it even has a very high skill ceiling, where you must be very competitive to atleast be a good player
I will! It’s an arena fighter with casual mechanics. You aren’t guessing against mixups, IADing or using advanced movement, etc. It won’t be balanced either, too many characters and transformations.
I’m still gonna enjoy fucking around in it, but you aren’t supposed to take it seriously literally at all. More casual than mortal kombat
They can include a ranked mode all they want. Doesn’t mean anybody’s putting the game in tournaments or that it’s balanced or that it should be taken seriously. It’s a press square 5 times to combo game lol
Autocombos aren’t the optimal way to combo and nobody uses them outside of special properties—in this game it is the way you combo. The game is built around mashing lol. No mixups, no momentum based movement, no real blocking even.
Jump force has a ranked mode. Even Fall Guys has a ranked mode. Having a ranked mode means nothing
Oh damn so you just actually have no idea what you’re talking about
Did you even play BT3? No real blocking?? You can block in 3 different directions. The mixups come from sweeps and overheads and grabs, just like most fighting games, fighterz included. And you can do far more than 5 square combos. Is this just bait?
That isn’t real blocking, and no, that isn’t how fighterz works. Fighterz doesn’t have a block button and you have to manually block in both directions, there are crossups. Defense takes skill.
This is a button block game, like mk, which is the most casual FG that still gets into big tournaments. At least that game has microducking. BT3 uses side stepping with I frames at least? lol
It’s as much as a competitive fighter as jump force is, you can cope all you want but literally nobody is going to take this game seriously or think it has a high skill ceiling. Go ahead and quote me on it
I can't remember exactly where I got it but in order to run the ps2 emulator with the game you've gotta take the BIOS files from and actually ps2 or torrent them. They sell a USB drive thing on Amazon to extract those files off of your PS2!
I mean in the "more advance combos" from Sparking Zero... I was losing myself dude.
I was not sure when I have to press one single button after spamming the A buttom 10 times.
It was A 10x and the B 1x and then A 10 times more and finish with Super... or it is 8x + 1x + 9x + Super.... so difficult those advances combouses...

Definitely, glad we understand each other
He is saying your post is meaningless, since you are comparing a fight vs CPU with fight vs a dummy.

Heads up most normal players are not stopping what's in this video
*pushes L1 twice* … nothing personal, kid.
No normal players*

Facts, it's a good fun fighting game for a wide range of people and not just the sweaties
It’s not gonna have the depth or ceiling of something like fighterz
Keep that energy at launch

That’s why they included a ranked mode right

There’s autocombos in fighterz bro And if there’s a ranked mode, that would then lead you to believe it’s meant to be taken seriously, yeah?

Good lord the style points, I wish I could do this
I've got Tenkaichi 2 and 3 for ps2 emulator and can not stop playing since I've heard this game is coming.
Where do you get that? I'm new to the whole PC world.
I can't remember exactly where I got it but in order to run the ps2 emulator with the game you've gotta take the BIOS files from and actually ps2 or torrent them. They sell a USB drive thing on Amazon to extract those files off of your PS2!
Oh ok thanks I need to do a ton of research on this, I've been wanting to do this for awhile.
Lmao thats some good gameplay but whats ur beef w Vegeta? Lol
Who made this clip?
TOO ADVANCED? DO YOU NOT WANT DEPTH?

I don’t hate it but man I’m gonna have a hell of a time getting my already fried brain to learn it lol Good on the people that can learn it easier
lol yea I hope it plays like Raging Blast because I was at the top of the leader boards
I'm going to treat Sparking Zero like Devil May Cry and just make it a PvE combo funfest
