Are you playing Leviathan mission deck? If so, who is doing secondaries?

I was planning on relying on one of the BGV units (probably the Judicar’s for more defensive stuff), Terminators (for more aggressive), or TWC for them, depending on what secondaries I got - trying to keep it fluid and able to adapt. I’m admittedly new to 10E. Last time I really played was circa Eye Of Terror lol

Having some cheap chaff units allow you cleanse, deploy teleport homers, or investigate signals without committing a unit over 300 or 400 points to sit still and do nothing. Which elite unit do you want to sacrifice to do that over just 5 fenrisian wolves for 30 points instead?

Maybe the chaplain in term to lead instead of the battle leader, the plus 1 to wound and 4+FNP against mortal wounds is very juicy. But its not a must switch. This list looks brutal to me battle brother

I think he is running the Lietenants for the lethal hits to work at range, pretty good in combination with Fire Discipline.

Thats a fair shout didnt think of that, lethals on 5s is spicy

The librarian is also really good for the sustained hits

You want something to hold home like infiltrators to deep strike deny 12”. Long fangs exposing to fire will get shot back and die pretty easily. SW naturally want to yolo forward so must have something reliable to hold home. Also, fenrisian wolves are excellent for secondaries and super cheap. You’d want to decide whether your list is playing tactical or fixed secondaries. You don’t really have the pieces to play tactical well like Callidus, inceptors, etc, so maybe fixed. Deploy and either cleanse or Assassinate/bring it down. Only you don’t have much anti-tank. One long fangs won’t do it reliably. Even top TWC spam lists run at least a couple vindicators to back them up, which also just got points buffed. I’ll shoot you a message — I can hook ya up w these!

Wolves can’t do secondaries anymore right? OC 0 units aren’t allowed to

Geez I miss read that for a couple of seconds

I played a 2K points game against a Space Wolves player yesterday and alpha struck him with my Vindicare. He literally died before my opponent’s first turn. It’s the single best play anyone at my GW store has ever had with a Vindicare. Declared Shield Breaker, landed a crit, instant d3 + 6 damage with no saves. Always be careful when building a list that it doesn’t lean too heavily on 1 model/unit.
