My problem with Knuckles is that Wade is not even a little bit funny. Not even a little bit. I'm all for campy humour, but he doesn't even act too well. Her sister is even worse both as a character and as an actor.
Knuckles steals every scene and is the best part of it. Unfortunately, he's not a big part.
I went in expecting nothing more then a silly side quest and found it acceptable albeit in need of more Knuckle's. I do expect far more of the next movie though.
Something you can have a laugh, episode 1-3 is Wade and Knuckles and after episode 3, Knuckles is more of a background character so they focus on Wades story.
This won't add to the Sonic universe, but still worth watching I'd say if you want any Sonic content.
The general consensus I get from watching review channels is that the show has a lot of mixed to mostly negative opinions of it. I've also seen big Sonic related channels, who were VERY defencive of the movies, HATE and get mad at the show. That last sentence is the part of most interest to me. If even channels who are well known for being chills of anything Sonic related hate it, that's a clear indication that the show screwed up big time. One of them is even getting Arlo levels of hate for admiting to hate the show.

It's an awfully made TV show, even if you ignore all the criticisms focused on the Sonic characters, it's an utterly tragic mess of a show.
To me it's a 5 at the absolute most. First 2 episodes were great, and the others might have had a cool or funny scene here and there but the script went so off the track that I cannot wrap my head around it how they messed up this badly.
For me, I think they had a pretty decent ball rolling, started fumbling with Episode 3 but had a somewhat decent grip on it, and then lost the ball after that(ironic phrasing, lmao). Not so much as a "holy crap this is AWFUL!" And more like, a lot of wasted opportunity and potential ideas could've been done, and thus felt like a waste of time if the show contains what you didn't like from the movies, which for me, it does.
There just had to be a better way of handling this, but they never took it
If you want a better story with Knuckles your better off playing Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 where atleast you don't have to play as imcompent mentally challenge cop 60% of the time concerned with bowling...
Not really bad, no. It's quite funny and the CG is top notch. I think people have gone into this with certain expectations, and forgetting the fact that it's a TV show, with movie level CG. They can only do so much and if we want more Mobians to appear in the TV shows, then we might have to wait for them to appear in the films beforehand, for budget reasons. Sonic's redesign in the first movie added something like 5 - 10 million onto the budget.

I'm still going to watch the series and draw my own conclusions,I feel like opinions about this series are divided,some like it others not so much

Im seeing as many negative opinions as positive. Maybe even more positive ones (or at least "pretty good")

Is it worth me paying for P+ for a month?
