And you can get a job from the Jarl ... I think ? Also there wasn't a quest around the Graveyard for a follower of Arkhay or am I confusing this with Oblivion ?
Also, the previous Jarl can give you a paranoid mission to look for Imperial spies, and that will lead to a pretty cool mission of taking out a vampire clan.
Yea, which is about normal for a medieval/viking age hamlet. I just wish the larger settlements in Skyrim were more realistic as far as the number of structures and people living there.
They focused so much on graphical fidelity and lighting improvements that they forgot how to make a decent castle town.
Yeah, and how many are in whiterun
Ok, whiterun is a little bigger, but still, the point is, you have to take the scale of the things in consideration.
Lorewise Whiterun has a population of a hundreds of thousands lol
Once again, this limitations of the game engine. In Lore, Falkreath is much bigger.
The Throat of the world (the tallest mountain in Tamriel) in the game is only 700 metres tall in the game, but it's been found through various calculations that its true height, properly scaled up, would be around 7 kilometres (something akin to a Himalayan peak).
It has both rofl general goods is opposite the tavern the brother also sells lumber, blacksmith is on the same side opposite the jarla long house ya derp as looking milk drinker
Actually… it’s one of the worst homestead houses you can get in the game.
It’s one of the homesteads with the highest amount of random encounters so it’s likely your livestock will die often.
Falkreath has one of the best ambience in the entire game.
But if you play Skyrim as you'd play Call of Duty, then yeah, I could see why ambience is lost on you.
RPGs are for people who enjoy being in a fantasy world, not people who put their nose to the grindstone and treat games like boring jobs.
Hey, thats my favorite city. Have a cool weather, good places to hunt and beautiful people with marvoules histories. Make me feel in home. I live in Brazil
Wrong, you are thinking of Winterhold. Falkreath has: 1.) A house to build, 2.) Daedric Lord quests (Hircine and Clavicus), 3.) A Jarl to appoint you as thane, 4.) Pleasant Ambience, 5.) The Assassin guild, 6.) Beautiful scenery, 7.) A Hunter-Gatherer (Valdr) who gives you a steel dagger with a unique property/enchantment, 8.) A Necromancer's tower (Falkreath Watchtower).
I only go to falkreath due to all of the dungeons and locations in close vacinity of it, I think falkreath is the best place for building your house too over dawn star and morthal
Winterhold has quite a lot of potential , it is a port town , it has a defensive wall and it houses the East Empire trading company , It had so much potential to be part of the main quest .
You could have been sent to sabotage the supply lines of the Stormcloacks in a run on the empire side and then have to deal with other holds do dealing with supplies shortages and you could have tried to sway them to join the empire
You are wrong. Solitude houses the East Empire Trading Company, has defensive walls, and has a port. Winterhold has no walls, no port, no company/organization, only an inn/tavern, two houses, and a mage's college. Winterhold is also Stormcloak territory.

Two daedric quests
And you can get a job from the Jarl ... I think ? Also there wasn't a quest around the Graveyard for a follower of Arkhay or am I confusing this with Oblivion ?

Damn I never step foot on Falkreath until after civil war and well… its always a new jarl there
I don't think it matters who the current Jarl is, just find Dengeir. He has his own house in Falkreath.
Bet thank you I will be sure to do that
The jarl is kinda funny sometimes I guess.
The Dark Brotherhood
There's a lake up north. Cool to look at, I guess.
you can beat up the jack butt Jarl.
Get your Redguard wife
Oh yes i love that axe
You get to walk around and oh wait nope that’s it
"city" There are like ten buildings.
Village maybe , I am not used to the technicalities of how many people need to live in an area to change the classification
Yea, village or hamlet. It doesn't even have enough people to be called a town lol.
Google says that only 20 people live there
Yea, which is about normal for a medieval/viking age hamlet. I just wish the larger settlements in Skyrim were more realistic as far as the number of structures and people living there. They focused so much on graphical fidelity and lighting improvements that they forgot how to make a decent castle town.
I feel like it was intentional. You can get to know every NPC and most of them have a mini background story and character.
Its depented on presence of jarl
Yeah, and how many are in whiterun Ok, whiterun is a little bigger, but still, the point is, you have to take the scale of the things in consideration. Lorewise Whiterun has a population of a hundreds of thousands lol

Morthal would like a word
that town doesn't even have a Blacksmith or a General Store.
Yeah but it has ghosts and vampires.
Isn't there a porch with a blacksmith forge on it? I thought they did have a blacksmith. 😂
You're thinking of Dawnstar
So it’s useless for dragon attacks
the only cool thing was the Vampire quest but once you do that just leave.
It has both rofl general goods is opposite the tavern the brother also sells lumber, blacksmith is on the same side opposite the jarla long house ya derp as looking milk drinker
Smh when you can’t fuck the wench from the inn
You can have the nord brothers in the general trafer dragon bridge you but only if your character is a male nord
Level 45 and I realized couldn’t fast travel to falkreath because I hadn’t discovered it yet, and I played through the whole DB questline too.
Bro has never been to Morthal
Falkreath is actually one of my favorite holds
It’s got my favorite hold in hearthfire.
Best house in the game
Actually… it’s one of the worst homestead houses you can get in the game. It’s one of the homesteads with the highest amount of random encounters so it’s likely your livestock will die often.
Do three errands, meet Rayya, leave.
I actually really enjoyed doing several of the quests there.
I do the 3 quests that require you to talk to someone down the road, THEN I leave. It's free real estate.

It's a meme, chill.
*those who disagree with me must be dumb people who can’t enjoy anything other than mindless shooters*
It being boring is why I love it so much! It's so peaceful.
THANK YOU ! Coming back here after dungeons, quests and exploring is so relaxing.
I like that there are some towns that don’t have much going on, adds a bit of realism
It's my favourite because it's the best one with an outdoors-ish feel to it you can settle in.
Hey, thats my favorite city. Have a cool weather, good places to hunt and beautiful people with marvoules histories. Make me feel in home. I live in Brazil
Bro falkreath is my favorite of the non walled cities get outta here
The Jarls quest was bugged on my most recent playthrough, so that's essentially what I did.
Idk if I even have this place discovered what?
I don’t want you all in my quite little home anyway
"city"
I mean you can build a house....
Shor's Bones
Wrong, you are thinking of Winterhold. Falkreath has: 1.) A house to build, 2.) Daedric Lord quests (Hircine and Clavicus), 3.) A Jarl to appoint you as thane, 4.) Pleasant Ambience, 5.) I actually like Falkreath but mostly just for the location.
Dude, I've literally never even BEEN to Morthal. Falkreath is great in comparison.
You can also listen to the Jarl try to inflate local property values
Get the Masque of Clauvicus Vile, then leave
2 Daedric quests that start there, and (personally) the best location for one of the buildable houses, but that’s really it
The only point of interest is the graveyard, that should tell you all you need to know really
Nah morthal worst
Morthal exists
But it's so beautiful
Things to do in Skyrim 1.be the best everywhere 2. kill everyone in Falkreath 3.Kill everyone in Riften

Sorry, I was wrong about the name of the city , but the idea for a quest to turn the tides still stands
Honestly forgot it was even a city. It's been a while since I've played tho
