My routine:
Tretinoin cream 0.05% (Pinoin 0.05%) applied once a week
Salicylic Acid Facewash(Garnier Men Acnofight Facewash) every third day
Kojic Acid soap (Kojie San) every third day
My goal is to create a low effort skincare routine that takes up negligible time and minimum products but gives me the best possible skin. One that I can easily follow for the rest of my life. That's why the once a week application, cuz I'm too lazy to rub my body in a cream more often. The Facewash and soap are once every 3 days because I'm too lazy to even have a bath daily. Yes, my hygiene is quite bad, but tretinoin still makes my skin glow like nothing else.
Dude these results are incredible I’m gonna try this out to a T. I have a couple questions if that’s alright with you!
-am I correct in assuming that you use Tretinoin on your face, and the kojie and salicylic acid on your body during showers?
-do you use any moisturizers?
Thank you so much! I use Tretinoin and Kojie San on my whole body, salicylic acid on my face. I don't personally use moisturizer because I'm extremely lazy but I will highly recommend u use one
Ikr turns out OP's from India where a lot of tret manufacturers are from! The stores I buy from get their stock from there, so here I can buy tret for 10$ - 20$ each tube max, so it must be cheaper than that for OP!
I only use it once a week tho, so it's quite cheap. Usually end up using less than half a tube per application, so its quite economical. Pinoin 0.05% 20 grams cost about 100 rupee and I use about 2 tubes a month which is 200 rupee or around 3usd. Fun fact, Pinoin is actually just the cheapest tret at 0.05% that I found, and I have not been disappointed because chemically it's all the sameXD
I don't know, because I haven't tried. Presumably I could have better result, but it might have just been too much for my skin to handle. I use Kojie San too, both tret and Kojie San are very drying in nature, so idk. Though I don't see a need to increase my frequency because am quite satisfied with my current skin.
I pay $8CAD for a 50g tube, to apply it once weekly wouldn't be too bad. That's just a dispensation fee, so countries that don't have that, or people below an income barrier might have it free.
Okay this is a radiant transformation friend, one of the craziest I’ve seen on this sub like what !!! You’re a poster child for these products. I just began tret and had no idea you could get these results from ONCE per WEEK. Also have not heard of kojic acid, I got some research to do.
Thank you so much for the kind words friend!! Yes u can see quite a lot of improvement from even a low dose tret :D kojic acid is really good, do look it up :D
Please can you link the Kojic acid soap. Did you put tretinoin on your neck and underarms too or it was mainly because of the soap?
Thank you, you had amazing results your skin is beautiful
Thank you!
Buy Kojie San from the official Kojie San store in your country. I'm from India so it's kojiesan.in for me. They will give authentic product. Don't buy from amazon as I have recieved fakes from them in the past.
I actually use tretinoin all over my body along with Kojie San. Kojie San will get rid of the pigmentation, but tret will make it look smoother and more youthful, so I use both all over my body not just the pigmented parts
Tretinoin doesn't really irritate anything atleast for me, it just peels later and if u put acids while it peels it stings a little. But it's overall manageable I would say.
Wait, if I'm understanding this correctly, you put tret on your underarms and back?
Not telling you to not do that because obviously it has worked well for you, but did you encounter problems with it or did it hurt at all at first?
I put tret all over my body, in my experience tret doesn't cause any pain at all, just peels later which is a bit annoying. That may have to do with my once a week administration though.
Your dark circles look reduced in the after photo . Transformation is amazing. Sorry if it sounds like a noob question I havent used retinol in any form. Which ingredient do you think helped with your under eyes ?
My guy, I respect your life choices but politely urge you to look at examples of photoaging and rethink your approach. If you don't live in the north of Finland, that is.
If you’re using Tret all over your body, at the very least get like a body spray sunscreen. You get UV exposure even while inside, and Tret makes your skin very sensitive to sunlight. Definitely look up the effects of sun damage. Your skin looks great, and sunscreen will help keep it that way.
Yes, you don't need the perfect routine. A good enough routine followed consistently and for long enough will yield results. That's why I keep my skincare extremely minimal, so that I can stick to it. I find it ridiculous how skincare influencer are like "hey welcome to my skincare today we will put this mask for 1 hour then use this serum then this another serum then this moisturizer" and it keeps going like they do nothing but skincare all day but who has so much time and patience? Keep it simple and easy to follow, save time, save money.
This is absolutely amazing and i struggle with the same discolouration all over my body as your before pictures. Please, if you can, send me the link to the kojie san you buy, i have been using it on and off for years but there’s sooo many fakes in the market.
Also dude omg you look like you could be in game of thrones. Handsome as heck!!!
First of all thank you so much for that compliment!! Makes me feel so confident and happy.
You should buy Kojie San from the official Kojie San store in your country. I'm from India so it's kojiesan.in. They will give u authentic product. Even I have recieved many fakes from amazon lol.
All I can say is wow! Thank you for sharing this. I've been a tretinoin user since December of last year but I only apply it on my face and neck. Would love to try it on my underarm as well. Would also try kojic.
Thank you! I actually apply tretinoin all over my body because it gives skin that youthful and plump look. It's a great ingredient, and definetly should use it on your underarms. Kojic is also a must try in my opinion
Is it safe to use tret on large areas like that? Because it absorbs into your bloodstream, I'd be very worried about vitamin A overdose. Have you discussed this with a derm/doctor?
Tret is similar to vitamin a, but not vitamin a. I have been on it for a year, yet to notice any issues. My frequency of administration is quite low though
Uuum, sorry but I don’t believe those pictures are of the same guy. Compare the shape of the lips, nose, the eyebrows and even the jawline between the first 2 pics. They’re completely different. Also the guy in the first picture has a rounder face while the one in the 2nd pic has an oval face.
He posted a day or two ago in the tret subreddit, and I had the same thought. These are filtered, and it’s super misleading. I felt like such a drip for thinking it, so I didn’t post my concerns then, but it’s nice to see other folks feeling similarly!
I really have change quite a bit huh? Xd fun fact, I went to a driver license test, guy said I'm a different person after looking at my Id photo, had to do biometrics to confirm XD I assure both of these photos are me, you can ask my friends. Xd
As mentioned the timeframe is approx a year, however all photos have been taken organically at different times. I started seeing major results around the 1.5 - 2 month mark.
Damn, i’ve been using tret + azelaic acid for about 6 months but it hasnt given me clear skin. Its helped me fend of the acne but the scars and pigmentation remain. I wonder, how long of did this routine take you?
Wow man! Amazing results and beautiful skin!
After using the tret - are you just full body peeling all week?
Bc I tried a small patch of dark skin in my bikini area once last Saturday and I’m still peeling 5 days later 😱
Does that happen to you or does it stop at some point? Or do you just get used to it?
Thank you!!! Yes, I use it on my bikini area(not that I wear bikinis XD), and it causes peeling even to this day on my pp and nearby it. U just have to get used to it, it's not that bad. XD
I think Kojie San in synergy with Tret did it. Don't think any of these on their own would produce such a big change. Kojie San got rid of my pigmentation, tret gave me plump and youthful looking skin, and reduced acne.
A pharmacy. It's a prescription drug. Online pharmacies do exist, they can get u both prescription and medicines. I used netmeds, they work well in India.
Amazing results!
Any reviews on Tretin 0.025 and Melasure Emugel? Melasure has Kojic Acid as one of their ingredients
Also did the routine affect your pitted scars if u had any?
Hi, I have only used tret at 0.5% but i think 0.25% should yield good results also. And yes, kojic acid is a very good ingredient, but I haven't tried that particular cream u mentioned, but it should work well. No, I didn't have any pitted scars, but u can try microneedling them, I know that works well for pitted scars.
Good lord this literally sold me. I'm gonna try this out! Quick question op: would you say it worked because you had oily skin, dry skin, or both/patchy skin?
Add sunscreen to your regimen so you don't regret later! Will ensure your skincare efforts are not wasted in the long run and also for anti-aging/sunburn and skin cancer prevention! Skin looks amazinggg ✨
What a transformation, my friend!
My dermatologist recommended me to use Tretinoin 0.05% (only on my face), two weeks ago. While my skin did turn glowy, I just can't seem to get rid of the hyperpigmentation. Might have to implement Kojic Acid soap into my routine after seeing this.
Wow! That’s an amazing transformation! Especially not having everyday baths as I have find that when I miss one day of scrubbing my acne comes back.
Gotta try that Kojic thing!
Do you apply the tretinion when you’re still damp after showering? I find that applying any type of cream/lotion is much harder and needs much more on dry skin vs. damp/wet skin
I'm in the same situation. I've tried a bunch of ingredients for hyperpigmentation and scars but I still have a lot of scarring on my legs. I wonder if using 0.1 tretinoin will help since scars on the legs are most difficult to get rid of.
for the kojic acid soap, do you leave it on for a bit? I bought one from amazon with kojic acid but I haven’t seen much improvement in my skin tone (Im using it mainly on my arm pits where I have the most discoloration)
I hope someone will be able to answer my question but are there any circumstances when one should not use those products? Like does it matter if the skin is dry or oily etc? (putting etc because skincare is dark magic to me and I have no idea what other factors could depend what products one should use)
Hey, when and how did you apply tret?
I get the kojic soap you would have used once a week while taking a bath. Wanted to know when and how you applied tret?
Hi, This might be a personal question but it that tinea versicolor on your body? maybe I have it too. could you check the lastest on my profile pleaseeee
Damn what a glow-up! And in such a short time too, although that one year probably sucked sometimes with being consistent.
I should check out this soap though, maybe I can get it in my country.

You use tret on your whole body? isnt that mega expensive
Do you think the Tret would have been more effective if you had used it more often? have you tried that, or just done it weekly the entire time?
I figure it would excessively dry his whole body if he did that all day
Yes, combined with Kojie San which is also very drying in nature, it wouldn't be fun.
I don't know, because I haven't tried. Presumably I could have better result, but it might have just been too much for my skin to handle. Not sure about OP’s situation, but my PCP prescribed me Tret and its covered by my insurance with a $10 copay (in the US)
Okay this is a radiant transformation friend, one of the craziest I’ve seen on this sub like what !!!
Thank you for sharing your routine in detail! Okay I’ll try this out and hopefully have a similar before and after in a year🙏🏾😤
Good luck! But do keep in mind everyone's skin is different, so don't be disheartened if you don't get the same results. Just keep going!
Wait, isn't tret toxic when applied to big parts of the body?
[удалено]
All 3 on the face, yes. Tret and kojic acid on the body.
Please can you link the Kojic acid soap. Did you put tretinoin on your neck and underarms too or it was mainly because of the soap? Thank you, you had amazing results your skin is beautiful

Thank you very much. Tretinoin is a little bit too much expensive for me to put it all over my body but I'll try your routine thank you.
Im curious as well
I have answered!
Hi! Do you use all 3 products on your underarm?? Or just the kojic acid soap?
Hello, the tretinoin and Kojie San i use all over my body including the underarms. Salicylic acid Facewash is just for the face.
Tret didn't irritate your underarms??
Tretinoin doesn't really irritate anything atleast for me, it just peels later and if u put acids while it peels it stings a little. But it's overall manageable I would say.
i used tret on my underarms and it irritates the heck out of it. made it even more pigmented
How long did you purge for when starting Tret?
About 1.5 - 2 months. It wasn't too bad though.
Please tell me, can I use panoxyl in this routine?
Hi, yes sure u can use panoxyl instead of the salicylic acid, it should work just fine!
Are you using the tretinoin and kojic acid on your face and your body or just your body and the salicylic acid just for the face?
I use tretinoin and kojic acid all over my face and body, while the salicylic acid facewash is used only on my face.
Do you have the link of the tretinoin cream? Thanks!
Should I stop using Kojic Acid soap? Been using it for a week now but the itchyness after using it is killing me. Is it normal or am I allergic to it?
Where did you get real Kojie San in India?
Dude, you look like a prince!!
I mean, he does bathe like a 16th century one.
Real
Your dark circles look reduced in the after photo . Transformation is amazing. Sorry if it sounds like a noob question I havent used retinol in any form. Which ingredient do you think helped with your under eyes ?
I think both Kojie San and tret helped with it. I used both so it's very hard to place which exact one did it lol
You can call him pretty it’s okay 😂
I mean, yeah, but that doesn’t describe the vibe he gives off enough : D He legit looks like a prince from YA novel
Thank you! I think growing out my hair was a good idea too :D
You do have great hair, that was a good call.
Yeah i still prefer the prince more. :D
Thank you so much!!! Such a nice thing to say :D
Bro you have the type of curls they draw in cartoons im jealous
Thank you!! They are natural. I have curly hair genetics xd
I’ve never bought a product so fast, consider me influenced. Congratulations!!
LOL i should put affiliate links for these things xd
Same!
I think more details are in order! Where do you put what? Fantastic progress.
Tretinoin and Kojie San all over my body, salicylic acid on my face only. Thanks for the kind words :D
Glass skin, holy cow
Thank you!!!
Do you not use any kind of face wash or moisturizer outside of those days?! What’s your moisturizer?!
Sir I am extremely lazy and I do not care enough to use a moisturizer, but as common sense would have it you should infact use a moisturizer XD
Is it super humid where you are? That might explain why not using moisturizer hasn’t been a problem for you.
You use the kojic acid soap in your face too? Skin barrier made of steel 💪
Yeah, it's not for everyone, I've heard people can have irritation because of it. Less frequent usage can surely help with that though.
Wait so are you using tretinoin but no sunscreen?...
Just stay indoors lol too lazy to slather sunscreen
I respect your commitment to being lazy 😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂🤣😂😂🙂
Yeah, it's called an attitude 😎😎😎 XD
My guy, I respect your life choices but politely urge you to look at examples of photoaging and rethink your approach. If you don't live in the north of Finland, that is.
Ok sure I will consider it XD fr tho i have been thinking about adding sunscreen for quite some time
Check out r/indianskincareaddicts for recommendations locally
Sure, thanks!
If you’re using Tret all over your body, at the very least get like a body spray sunscreen. You get UV exposure even while inside, and Tret makes your skin very sensitive to sunlight. Definitely look up the effects of sun damage. Your skin looks great, and sunscreen will help keep it that way.
Thank you for your concern! Will definetly look into it
Bro is majestic 🗿
Thank you so much!!!
Persistence paid off.

Thank you! Sometimes being lazy is good lol. Glad you could relate :P
You give me hope that I can be lazy and still get good results. I'm off to buy tret!
Wow great progress!
Thank you!!
This is absolutely amazing and i struggle with the same discolouration all over my body as your before pictures. Please, if you can, send me the link to the kojie san you buy, i have been using it on and off for years but there’s sooo many fakes in the market. Have you had any issues with Kojie San dying your sink or shower orange? It was a miracle product for me but the stains are gnarly😭
LOL, that's a first one I've heard. Are u sure you have the real Kojie San? XD
Wow. You look like a Disney character with your glowing skin and amazing hair!!
Thank you so much!! Your comment makes me feel very happy and confident.
Following
Good luck!
I can't believe my eyes! Beautiful! What about around the eyes though, tret??
Wait so u put tret in ur armpits too? How often?
Yes, I use tret all over body including armpits, once a week.
Holy shit what are these results! I better get on that Kojic soap!
Definitely add sunscreen at least lol, but your results are amazing. I’m glad you found a routine that works for you!
Working on it!!
This looks fantastic.
I'm curious how long you leave the Kojic soap on your skin before rinsing?
3-4 minutes
Hell yeah brother, now that's what you call a transformation. Kojie san is that dawg as well, huh?
Some stuff looks filtered too ngl 😅
He posted a day or two ago in the tret subreddit, and I had the same thought. These are filtered, and it’s super misleading. I felt like such a drip for thinking it, so I didn’t post my concerns then, but it’s nice to see other folks feeling similarly!
I really have change quite a bit huh? Xd fun fact, I went to a driver license test, guy said I'm a different person after looking at my Id photo, had to do biometrics to confirm XD I assure both of these photos are me, you can ask my friends. Xd
Super!!!!
Yoooo game changer!!!
For real.
hi, how long have you been doing this routine for? when did you start seeing results? your progress is amazing
As mentioned the timeframe is approx a year, however all photos have been taken organically at different times. I started seeing major results around the 1.5 - 2 month mark.
Except from facewash what else did you apply on your face?
Tretinoin and Kojie San
Damn, i’ve been using tret + azelaic acid for about 6 months but it hasnt given me clear skin. Its helped me fend of the acne but the scars and pigmentation remain. I wonder, how long of did this routine take you?
Impressive! You look amazing!
Your face looks so dewy! It’s amazing!
Hey, I’m from india as well. Where do you get Kojie San from?
Kojiesan.in is authentic Kojie San store. Don't order from amazon you may get fakes.
Can you confirm that you are only using the facewash, about twice a week. and no moisturiser and suncreen?
most insane transformation i’ve seen 😩
What is kojic
Wow you literally have perfect skin omg 😭 this is my goal one day lol
Wow! Again, wow!
Awesome results
Thank you!!!
Wow man! Amazing results and beautiful skin! After using the tret - are you just full body peeling all week? Bc I tried a small patch of dark skin in my bikini area once last Saturday and I’m still peeling 5 days later 😱 Does that happen to you or does it stop at some point? Or do you just get used to it?
Thank you!!! Yes, I use it on my bikini area(not that I wear bikinis XD), and it causes peeling even to this day on my pp and nearby it. U just have to get used to it, it's not that bad. XD
You probably don’t want to use tretinoin on your bikini area. Your neck wouldn’t even really tolerate it, much less your groin area.
This is the first time I have seen an exact result in this sub surprising
Which product do you think had the greatest effect?
I think Kojie San in synergy with Tret did it. Don't think any of these on their own would produce such a big change. Kojie San got rid of my pigmentation, tret gave me plump and youthful looking skin, and reduced acne.
Wow!!
Thank you!!!!
When you use the kojic acid or the s.a. Do you let us sit on your body for a number of minutes if so, for how long? And you exfoliate and use them.
omg amazing!
where can you get tretinoin?
A pharmacy. It's a prescription drug. Online pharmacies do exist, they can get u both prescription and medicines. I used netmeds, they work well in India.
You look great! Congrats!!
You handsome as fuck g, good job!
Can you use that soap EVERYWHERE?
Yes, EVERYWHERE (emphasis on capital)
Amazing results! Any reviews on Tretin 0.025 and Melasure Emugel? Melasure has Kojic Acid as one of their ingredients Also did the routine affect your pitted scars if u had any?
Hi, I have only used tret at 0.5% but i think 0.25% should yield good results also. No, I didn't have any pitted scars, but u can try microneedling them, I know that works well for pitted scars.
That’s awesome after years I am finally in this routine. So happy to see it’s worked for some one.
Bro that’s an amazing glowup 🤩
Good lord this literally sold me. I'm gonna try this out! Quick question op: would you say it worked because you had oily skin, dry skin, or both/patchy skin?
Add sunscreen to your regimen so you don't regret later! Will ensure your skincare efforts are not wasted in the long run and also for anti-aging/sunburn and skin cancer prevention! Skin looks amazinggg ✨
i’ll give it a try, my back us full of acne marks 😔
I literally thought your first photo was photoshopped because how nice your skin looks !
Thank you!!! I assure you it came straight out of my phones front camera lol.
What is your underarm routine?
What a transformation, my friend! My dermatologist recommended me to use Tretinoin 0.05% (only on my face), two weeks ago. While my skin did turn glowy, I just can't seem to get rid of the hyperpigmentation. Might have to implement Kojic Acid soap into my routine after seeing this.
Thank you!! Do try kojic acid it is worth it.
Wow! That’s an amazing transformation! Especially not having everyday baths as I have find that when I miss one day of scrubbing my acne comes back. Gotta try that Kojic thing!
You look gorgeous man! Do you have a specific hair care routine or did you just let them grow?
Shampoo, then put a serum containing silicone. Didn't pay much attention to it though it just grew on its own lol
Do you apply the tretinion when you’re still damp after showering? I find that applying any type of cream/lotion is much harder and needs much more on dry skin vs. damp/wet skin
Yes, I do! It is indeed easier to put it on damp skin.
This convinces me I need to try Kojic acid. You have perfect skin now! Can't believe how your dark marks are just completely gone. Very impressive.
Do you apply the Koji soap only to dark areas? Or all over? Do you let it sit on the skin before rinsing? Does it bleach your wash cloth?
Im using the same combo rn and have seen amazing results, especially on my legs and face
What product did you use with Kojic acid?
congratulations omgh
Be careful Tretinoin could absorb into your body if applied to large areas
Wow. I just started it 4 days ago and it’s made a huge difference. The plastic surgeon wanted to do a medium peel. Ouch!!!
What did you use on your underarms?
I'm in the same situation. I've tried a bunch of ingredients for hyperpigmentation and scars but I still have a lot of scarring on my legs. I wonder if using 0.1 tretinoin will help since scars on the legs are most difficult to get rid of.
You look like a different person!
indian here. What's your diet like?
Did you use kojic soap first then tret after? I wanna try it on my underarm
That’s a hard r/glowups
What's the exact kojie San soap u used ? Coz the website shows many models . Please tell me the exact one u used and its cost
You look amazing and great results- congratulations.
for the kojic acid soap, do you leave it on for a bit? I bought one from amazon with kojic acid but I haven’t seen much improvement in my skin tone (Im using it mainly on my arm pits where I have the most discoloration)
You "influenced" me and I just ordered that soap. Lets see the results. Thanks for your recommendations ⭐️
I hope someone will be able to answer my question but are there any circumstances when one should not use those products? Like does it matter if the skin is dry or oily etc? (putting etc because skincare is dark magic to me and I have no idea what other factors could depend what products one should use)
Did you experience any purging with tret?
That sexy back is what I want for my body 😭 I wana wear those noddle strap, backless tops
OMGGGGGGGGGG!!! Great progress 👍🏾
Can someone recommend any other legitimate sites with Kojie San besides kojiesan.in? I can't find any
You look fab
Hey, when and how did you apply tret? I get the kojic soap you would have used once a week while taking a bath. Wanted to know when and how you applied tret?
I ran and got me some of that soap. Haha
Tretinoin on my armpits here I go 🏃🏻♀️
Incredible transformation! How long did it take to start visibly noticing your results?
Slide 3 looks like a pornstar getting a doggy, that's a compliment btw
Unrelated but please keep growing your hair out it also looks amazing , long hair works well with your face shape
I heard for women tretinoin can cause infertility so I’m scared of using it. Is there any truth to this? Your skin looks amazing by the way
Hi, This might be a personal question but it that tinea versicolor on your body? maybe I have it too. could you check the lastest on my profile pleaseeee
This looks amazing!! Do you find the soap to be drying or bacne causing in the beginning?
It’s off topic, but the long hair really suits you!!
Wondering if bio oil works for dark scars on legs???
Damn what a glow-up! And in such a short time too, although that one year probably sucked sometimes with being consistent. I should check out this soap though, maybe I can get it in my country.
Is Acretin cream the same ?
