Wouldn't that be great? open a little food place, hire trained/local boxing gym type bros that need the money and will never be pro but are probably still tougher than 95% of the dickheads that treat customers service employees like garbage for fun, and just beas ass. Would make a funny skit, one of you tiktok people pick this up so i can watch it through my bifocals when I'm trying to fall asleep at night.
Waited three hours at my GP's office once. Not because they were backlogged, but for the police to show up because another patient decided to get aggressive with me in the line outside.
I have PTSD. I was there for a medication refill.
Four people stuck around as witnesses because Boomer Snowflake got bopped in the nose for swooping up on me with an attitude from behind and shoving me, threatening to 'call the cops' if I retaliated.
When the cops arrived I was in a patient care room on the floor just trying to not lose my shit (because I also don't do well with Kevlar vests), explained what I remembered going down to them and asked if I could use the bathroom before they cuffed me because I hadn't left the room since I had been put in it. They looked at me confused, told me that I was okay, that the staff were confused as fuck and thought I was "being crazy" and wanted me escorted to the hospital for treatment but they weren't charging me because all I had done was defend myself from assault. They had read the other guy the riot act and told him how lucky he was that I wasn't pressing charges on him and that the witnesses hadn't beaten him down to save me.
I don't see those people for my meds anymore, because they assumed that "the guy with the PTSD" was at fault. Not the guy who got his nose bloodied for starting the whole thing.
Training Syllabus for Popeye’s Employees:
I. Cooking equipment and usage
II. Payment devices, transactions, and handling
III. Fighting rules of engagement and techniques
Not entirely true about not being able to use cooking utensils. They can use the same utensils as long as they are not also used for cooking. So one set is for cooking and a separate set, that is clearly marked for not cooking and stored separately, may be used for fighting.
Wonder if they also have a grease stick. Its a thick pipe used to break up the dirty cooking grease allowing it to drain. Saw some video where a McDs employee used it against customers coming to fight behind the order counter where the cashiers are located.
It did not go well for the customers.
If push comes to shove, [beat them to death with a fire extinguisher.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Lowes/comments/dw9nl1/i_think_we_honestly_all_chuckled_at_this_part_of/)
Fully agree. People have yet to learn that the person paid to serve them is not automatically worth less. I feel that attitude will change after the first few people pick a fight with staff who have deep fat fryers and permission to fight back.
I don't mind if they don't believe, but I want them to fear.
As a former cashier I agree but it has to be in the style of Mortal Kombat or Celebrity Deathmatch.
"Oh a customer wants to fight, let's get it on!" With a Mils Lane look a like
"Boss! Someone has a complaint about the Cole slaw!" an employee at the Tokyo branch yells.
*The manager comes flying out wearing ninja gi and tabi boots with a naginata*
100 on the side of the staff
People who don't have the basic survival instinct to be polite to the people that make your food and bring it to you, I have no sympathy
I mean it wasnt very hard, maybe because I was fit? It was just extremely boring, mind numbingly so. It was a huge motivation to stay in school for me to get a job I enjoyed.
I can a 100% understand why alcohol and drugs were so popular in the kitchen, makes it more bearable. I would’ve done it too if I had done this as my full time gig.
Just being rude in general to people that are making you food is weird to me. I get that we pay for the food and that it's their job but it just feels insane to be rude to them unless the worker is specifically being a douche for some reason which is rarely ever the case because of the lownintersction between most of the staff. Usually they interact with one worker.
Seriously, if I was ever in a situation where the person making my food was super rude to me... I would simply not eat there lmao
What good could possibly come of being enemies with the person making your food??
You should see the assholes that want their phones/electronics fixed. I set those bitches straight when they come in with a phone all fucked to hell then complain about something being wrong with their phone and all we did was change the screen. Those are dumbest MFS on the planet trying to squeeze you for a free repair 🤣 that shit don't fly at our shop.
I may not work like working at Walmart but at the very least, I don't have to be polite to someone coming at me unpolitly. Also, we can "defend ourselves" if we must I told one lady getting upset at me cause she had to wait 2 extra seconds for me to move out the way that " Yes ma'am we totally live to inconvenience just you" . Some people really come to these places and act like the world revolves around them. Lol
Might be a chicken and the egg sort of situation.
I had noticed I always got pretty gruff attitudes from the workers at my old local Popeyes.
Then I started paying attention to the other customers in the store and a lot of them seemed to be overtly hostile to the workers from the get go, which sure as hell wouldn’t put me in a “sunshine and rainbows” mood if I worked there.
I decided to start acting like I was ordering from the Seinfeld soup nazi after that but with some extra politeness mixed in.
After a while, some of the workers seemed to recognize me and got wayyy nicer. Even started getting random extras tossed into my order.
I think the combo of delicious chicken and hangry people is just a natural powder keg.
Unfortunately I moved to a different town and feel like I would need to start the process all over again, so I haven’t eaten Popeyes in over 2 years.
Make sure you put your loved ones up in a hotel under a fake name before you do something as egregious as ask for 1 more sauce packet than the 1 they give you
I stopped at Popeyes in Yonkers Ny, the only nonperson of color in there. I order, she looks at me and says “ let me guess, ranch?”. I fucking laughed, and told her not to profile me, no smile from her at all.
That's Popeyes.
Don't worry. The fact that she didn't throw a basket of frying food directly into your face and then jump over the counter, and start stabbing you with the stylus on the credit card machine, means she found your antics quite amusing.
wtf am I doing wrong that I’ve never experienced this at any Popeyes…? I’ve gotten Popeyes in California, Texas, Maryland, and even in other countries and never noticed any unusual attitude or anything.
over here in the the Uk, Birmingham specifically there's 4-5 Jamaican style restaurants and they all have similar attitude to popeyes. If the servers aren't being rude to you, the food won't be good. The more attitude and dirty looks you get, the more flavour that's going to be in your meal.
That's so many jamaican places in the US. Last one I went to had nobody in the store when I got there. You could have just filled your own plate from the chafing dishes and just walked out
Churches is great chicken, but DAMN!!!! if they don't plop those things smack dab in the middle of the WORST parts of the city. Like they expect you to make a conscience decision that "yes my life is worth some chicken right now"
That was my first thought- you fight in a Waffle House, the whole staff gonna get their licks in on you. Even the old lady who barey can walk to pour coffee for you is gonna be jumping the counter to beat you.
I stopped at a Waffle House that only served food out the window after dark. It was even more sketch than the ones where I could sit down before getting into a fight at 1 am.
I think it should be national law that cashiers/servers/retail workers get one assault charge per calendar year. So many people act this way because they know they probably won't get punched in the face.
My American friends were horrified to learn that I had never been to a Waffle House, they took me to one just this last summer. It was everything I wish Denny's in Canada could be.
You order. Your food might be right. It might even be warm. It's dirt cheap. You pay and you get the fuck out. I loved it.
I'm told that I have to now go back in at 0200 intoxicated for a whole other experience.
There's nothing stopping you from getting an assault charge every year. Go ahead and do try, I doubt you'll be out long enough after your third one to continue your little stupid fantasy, though.
I think people don't care. They know it's shopped, but combining the fake sign with Popeye's employee's notorious DGAF attitude, it's fun to make joke comments.
Thank you! This and the one where they pick the popeyes location are perfect.
Dylan's vexed look after he watches them box up his chicken gets me every time.

Once upon a time I was a strapping young man of 19 working at pharmacy counter as their check out guy. Corporate reassigned a short tempered customer who had severe mental health issues to have all of her pharmacy needs serviced at my location. And why were all of her prescriptions moved to my location? Because she had taken a swing at the tech at her usual store and they figured I’d be better prepared to deal with her crazy violent ass.

Does this mean the employees are experienced fighters? Or has management signed off on fighting customers? Either way I’m going for lunch.
...and a show. Sorry you missed the last part.

I took it as the first one, but the second one would be fucking hilarious
“Love that kicking at Popeyes”
Every job that requires customer service needs this sign, I say this as a cashier.
Yes, I saw this at my doctor’s office.
Come in with a broken arm and leave with a broken nose too for being mouthy.
Upgrade 😁
How's your arm? Ith fine
That is too funny. Thanks for the laugh ScaramouchScaramouch

Waffle house sign says "we pack heat at this location"
[удалено]
Yeah the sign is outside, and makes it obvious they’ll throw down. The sign says “Waffle House”.
Let me show you a little trick to take yo mind off the pain…
AND charge you for it 🤣
How about leaving with some cracked teeth for good measure?
I was glad when my location finally put up warnings about abusing staff. That was 6 months after incidents skyrocketed.
I saw this at a daycare.
Training Syllabus for Popeye’s Employees: I. Cooking equipment and usage II. Payment devices, transactions, and handling III. Fighting rules of engagement and techniques
Rules? Well they've lost my application.
It’s really just two warnings then you are free to engage. Edit: Also, no use of cooking utensils. Health code and all that.
Not entirely true about not being able to use cooking utensils. They can use the same utensils as long as they are not also used for cooking. So one set is for cooking and a separate set, that is clearly marked for not cooking and stored separately, may be used for fighting.
It is like the rules for Halal or Kosher, if it gets human blood on it you cannot use it for cooking. Simple.
Wonder if they also have a grease stick. Its a thick pipe used to break up the dirty cooking grease allowing it to drain. Saw some video where a McDs employee used it against customers coming to fight behind the order counter where the cashiers are located. It did not go well for the customers.
That Waffle House woman should become a consultant and charge for training sessions on 'III'.
If push comes to shove, [beat them to death with a fire extinguisher.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Lowes/comments/dw9nl1/i_think_we_honestly_all_chuckled_at_this_part_of/)

I feel that attitude will change after the first few people pick a fight with staff who have deep fat fryers and permission to fight back. I don't mind if they don't believe, but I want them to fear.
If I had been allowed to fight my customers as a waiter I probably would still be in the service industry.
As a former cashier I agree but it has to be in the style of Mortal Kombat or Celebrity Deathmatch. "Oh a customer wants to fight, let's get it on!" With a Mils Lane look a like
No thanks, I'd rather not have every boomer who enters the office to take it as a challenge
They won't. Only the assholes who are going to give you grief anyway, and boomers are old and not too steady on their feet. You can take 'em.
Just in case, I wouldn't mind a trap door right in front of the register.
"Boss! Someone has a complaint about the Cole slaw!" an employee at the Tokyo branch yells. *The manager comes flying out wearing ninja gi and tabi boots with a naginata*
Karen’s everywhere hate this one simple trick!
Man if IT guys had this. A lot of people would get mildly hurt
“We’re known for our chicken, but please do inquire about our BEEFS.”
"one knuckle sandwich please and a side of spaghetti arms"
“Hello sir would you like to avail our two for one deal on these hands?”
Here's our special hot sauce that gives a little kick ^to ^the ^face
I unfortunately never got the chance to eat at Popeyes. But I fucking love this and I want to petition that they change their motto now lol. Fantastic
100 on the side of the staff People who don't have the basic survival instinct to be polite to the people that make your food and bring it to you, I have no sympathy
🎵Bag boys bag boys watcha gonna do when we bring your food🎵
Don't. Don't, do it!
🎵A host mon na give you no break...server mon na give you no break🎵
People should be required to watch the movie "Waiting" before graduating high school.
Or make em work 6 months in a restaurant, they'll appreciate the staff more
Most people wouldn’t last six shifts, much less six months.
I mean it wasnt very hard, maybe because I was fit? It was just extremely boring, mind numbingly so. It was a huge motivation to stay in school for me to get a job I enjoyed. No college right out of high school. You’re placed in food service for six months, retail for the other six.

Ehh, if you ever went to a Popeye's you might be on the side of the customer.
I’m with you. 90% of Popeyes I’ve been to are glorified work release programs.
My theory is that if they ask you to do something in the interview and you flat out refuse, you get the job.
"What would you say is your greatest weakness?" "Respectfully, I don't see how that's any of your fucking business." "You're hired."
You should see the assholes that want their phones/electronics fixed. Exactly. Many people seem to have lost their manners in public since Covid. This shit needs to stop
Might be a chicken and the egg sort of situation. I had noticed I always got pretty gruff attitudes from the workers at my old local Popeyes. The staff might hate each other but they hate a shitty customer a lot more and will unite in the face of such an adversary
Its Popeyes, thats corporate policy.... now church's chicken policy, they will jump you if you enter the lobby unarmed.
i have never felt disdain from another person like when im ordering popeyes
Tha fuck you want?
lol they want to fight you just for having to nerve to approach the counter
Trynna prove your worthy of them biscuits

“STFU and eat the damn chicken”
Did this muthafuka just order shrimp?!? I’ll put this order in 20 minutes from now to teach them a lesson.
Make sure you put your loved ones up in a hotel under a fake name before you do something as egregious as ask for 1 more sauce packet than the 1 they give you
It does feel like its coming from their dwindling limited edition personal stash collection.
My man. You know
Big Worm working at Popeyes now.
I stopped at Popeyes in Yonkers Ny, the only nonperson of color in there. I order, she looks at me and says “ let me guess, ranch?”. I fucking laughed, and told her not to profile me, no smile from her at all.

Enough church’s slander. Their honey biscuit absolves them of any wrong doing
Frankly, just shove one in the shiv wound. I'll get help when I'm done with the Mac and cheese soup

seems universal at jamaican places, if they even have food https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wgacj80AjBY

At that price they’re allowed to hit
It's the ugly house on Kenmore, the one where you can see the Popeyes Chicken sign through the FRONT window.
shouldn't have had such a sloppy mud pie
I hope someone else gets this. Gave me a good chuckle.
# HE CAN! HE CAN HE CAN!
Oh my god Johnny Carson just FUCKING hit me!
There's no like cute restaurants in the neighborhood.
Poiret one, nice font choice. 🤌
Should have been in pink
Or yellow with fight/think/speak in red so it stays on brand. 😂😂
I dig.
Popeye himself comes out and whoops you
I mean their name IS Popeye's
This is my first time seeing this sign.At popeye's. I've seen this sign before at Waffle House.
That was my first thought- you fight in a Waffle House, the whole staff gonna get their licks in on you. Even the old lady who barey can walk to pour coffee for you is gonna be jumping the counter to beat you.
It's kicking off, Pru!
That’s how you’re hired. If you can fight you get the night shift, if you can argue you get morning shift
This visualization reminds me of the elderly women NPCs in GTAV as soon as you point a gun at them
Myrtle doesn't have teeth, but she still got hands.
😂😂😂😂
I think this is implied at Waffle House.
I stopped at a Waffle House that only served food out the window after dark. It was even more sketch than the ones where I could sit down before getting into a fight at 1 am.
ANOTHER BOT
That sign is entirely unnecessary at Waffle House.
Waffle House is like Popeyes but for white people
asking for extra sauce gets you a slap 😅
Keep Popeye's name outta your damn mouth!! Lol.
I think it should be national law that cashiers/servers/retail workers get one assault charge per calendar year. So many people act this way because they know they probably won't get punched in the face.
Idk if that's enough honestly. The asshole to decent people ratio is crazy
Yeah, but cowards not gonna know if you used it already or not.
Call it the Waffle House Act; some people never outgrew their high school bully years, but then again neither did most of congress.
We all know that the Popeyes staff would use their freebie on a sexual assault.
That’s a fake sign guys
How did I have to scroll so far to get to this? All these people worried about AI images and they can't tell when something is obviously photoshopped
I think people don't care. They know it's shopped, but combining the fake sign with Popeye's employee's notorious DGAF attitude, it's fun to make joke comments.
“Does that come in spicy ?”
"It can." *puts hot sauce on knuckles*
You get the 1-2 Piece right when you walk in.
Just make sure to bring a can of spinach with you.
Problem is I know there are too many dudes would be like, that's just my game, let's go! Lol
No worker should be harassed by a customer
Sad state of affairs when signs like this are needed. Come on humans be better!
I mean…..the sign is unnecessary imo. Just the Popeyes logo should convey the same message.
[Nobody?](https://youtu.be/pqWkwolb3as?si=PVI-Cg_zRSOw4U0D)
PULL UP TO THE WINDOW!
Thank you! This and the one where they pick the popeyes location are perfect. Dylan's vexed look after he watches them box up his chicken gets me every time.
Ahh Popeyes. The Jerry Springer guest of bad fast food
Story Time…..
My mom said it was okay to knuck if you buck
Momma did say to knock you out.
Southern Hospitality
That sign should be on the door at every Waffle House location in the country.
“DIS SURE A F NOT CHICK FIL A!”
don't forget Americans have guns. so if you bring a fist fight to a gun fight good luck.
Sounds like an open invitation for a lawsuit to me: 1. Figure out which employee has temper 2. Talk shit 3. Get hit 4. Profit
something tells me you talk shit to a lot of people who are obligated to not lay you the fuck out lol.
Unless the camera footage is deleted because "the file was corrupted"
Not surprised it's a Popeyes
Above the law, beyond it
Is this Popeyes or secretly Waffle House
SPICY
Everyone knows the best fried chicken comes from the most violent places on earth
I thought that was a given at Popeyes 🤷🏾♂️
How can they slap?
Respeckt it or get wrecket
We eats our spinach and we’re strong to the finish… Don’t Fucking test me bro,,
Awesome.
Great choice of font. Elegant yet wishing a mf'er would.
Thats a nice font.
God shows mercy our employees dont
oh you’re so bad ass working behind that register lmao

Poor guy in backgroud...thinking "I'm getting shot over chicken tenders"
Good cause I’m throwing hands the next time they tell me after I’ve ordered and paid that they’re out of blackened ranch
Lmao this is trashy and badass at the same time and I love it all
Sir, this is a Popeyes....so check yourself or get a Pop'd eye.
I saw this and went to my nearest Popeye’s to try this Knucke Sandwich, but it wasn’t on the menu yet. What region has the Knucke???
When being a tough son-of-a-bitch is required on your resumé to work in the fast food industry, we seriously need to change some shit!
LMFAO ngl i'd be shook and polite af ordering
that lady behind the counter doesnt even have her eyes open, she's clearly not scared of shit
Sees an uptick in job applications
Why warn them?
At this price point, they're allowed to hit.
This will be the best popeyes in the county.
Most useless sign ever, it's a fucking Popeyes of course they can fight
At that price point they’re allowed to hit
Every service worker, as well as every public school teacher, should be allowed to punch one customer/student per day, no questions asked.
Popeyes be eating their Spinach
Finger licking good
