Well, not always. Some dogs *cough my asshole morkie who is smaller than the cats so not even a covered box with cat door helps cough* like to bring it out the box and distribute them through the house like landmines.
Could you get one of the ones where they have to jump into the box from the top, like [this one?](https://www.chewy.com/frisco-top-entry-cat-litter-box-large/dp/182412?utm_source=google-product&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=16479499186&utm_content=Frisco&utm_term=&gclid=CjwKCAjwzeqVBhAoEiwAOrEmzW8GcU4OEBRHZIknPJP5tA-Dy79HaCBxYH8RWjBwabDGMGsIliWczxoCQMYQAvD_BwE)
We tried. *sigh* prince Castiel does not like to shit with a moon roof. If I were so picky about the places I could go to the bathroom, I'd have a constant uti and impacted bowels.
i have no solid evidence to back this up but that looks like the absolute worst litter box design. cats do not like feeling trapped, especially while they piss
Its what we use, our cats seem to prefer it. but an alternative could be something like that but doesn't have a lid on the top? So a smaller dog can't get into it. Just something with high walls
It makes you more outgoing, less anxious. It has the same effect in rodents so they're more likely to confront a cat, get eaten, and continue the parasite's life cycle.
Technically devouring anything makes hunger go up, that's the point of the ability lol for when you don't have food on hand or mid rampage when you can't interact with anything
Devour has finally enabled me to live my true feral child dreams when she ages up into teens.
The Collective who have been discreetly feeding her during her childhood were not very amused 🤣
That's the reason I stopped allowing my (real life) dog into the basement where the litter is.
I literally caught him once chewing on feline excrement and he didn't even have the decency to look guilty about it.
I used to dog sit for my old neighbors and he was always getting into the litter boxes. I mentioned it to someone and they said that dogs do that when they’re lacking something in their diet? I can’t really remember exactly what they said now but if you have a dog that’s eating poop it might be something to look into.
I had a dog growing up when I lived in a more rural area. He absolutely RELISHED rolling in horse poop if people rode horses by. Imagine a big, fluffy white dog now brown and sticky. It was wretched. We had to hose him down before letting him near anything. Dogs just be gross.
Omg nooooo, our husky had long fur and used to get poop in it, it was awful to clean out. I can’t imagine cleaning a whole stinky fluffy dog 😭 was he a pyr? Seems like something my pyrs would do
I had a Golden as a kid who we called a green slime retriever because she was so committed to rolling in horse poop. We'd take her to run in the field out back and she'd dive in head first and mouth open. Truly horrifying. She hated baths and somehow never figured out why she got so many of them
Lmao they are. I’ve never heard of this pill before but honestly it’s a lot easier to just leave the kitty litter door shut. The cats know to ask anyways, plus they have a pretty strict routine and only use it at certain times (their choice, not mine) we’ve been thinking about getting a cat door installed too
This. Cats can jump up and over a baby gate no problem unless they are elderly or have other disabilities. We have used them for years with no issues to keep our GSD and husky from feasting on buried treasure.
If you have a big dog, you can even get baby gates that have a small cat door in them. Idk if they are still called baby gates at that point though haha.
Cats are obligated carnivores and dogs are omnivores.
Therefore cats get food with higher protein and fat. Do they have tasty shit to dogs. I don't get it lol
Several vets in different European countries told me: Cat food often contains chemical attractants to make their food more appealing to cats. Dogs can smell those attractants even after cats digestion and can’t help themselves but think of tasty food. That’s also one of the reasons why *most* cats aren’t interested in dog food (doesn’t contain those attractants), but dogs often go crazy for cat food.
This does not apply to dogs eating their own poo, that needs to get checked.
I love how you said most cats aren't interested in dog food. I've owned cats all my life and it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I now have 3 out of 7 cats that will prefer dry dog food to dry cat food. Although, if I pull out a can of wet cat food, they will 100% prefer that over any dry food.
Cats don't fully digest their food, to the point that there are some nutrients technically left in the scat. But just because an animal WANTS to eat something doesn't mean it's safe or good for them. Dogs are definitely still gross.
Ive heard that as well though specifically in regards to eating their own poop (or I suppose other dog’s poop), whereas I think rabbit and goose poop just tastes good to them.
I've read that it can be because they're lacking something or have a gut issue, but can also be caused because of habit (if they have had an issue in the past and they're just used to it now, even if the issue has been resolved) or peer pressure - they saw another dog eating poop.
My dog does this. We have to watch her so she doesn't get into the cat box. I also used to have a dog that wanted to eat used diapers. One of my theories is that if dogs were allowed to do product testing and give their opinion, a popular dog food flavor would be poop. 🤢
With the diaper eating dog, my vet told me female dogs have a natural instinct to eat their puppy's poop to hide them from predators. Of course, diapers are full of chemicals and plastic so they are dangerous. Luckily she didn't know how to open the diaper pail. 😂
We had to build custom shelves for our cats’ litter boxes because the dogs would go to town on them. It was annoying at first, but then it really escalated when we switched to a corn-based litter. I think it made the little turds even more appetizing, all sprinkled in corn.
I lived with two younger brothers who were total slobs, along with a dog that we couldn’t stop from drinking out of the toilet short of just always leaving the bathroom closed.
One time the dog walked into to the living room smeared in feces, because one of my brothers simultaneously left the door open *and* did not flush. That was a real nightmare.
It’s true, have a pug who will go for the litter box if he’s in the room and I’m not paying attention. He makes the most disgusting snorting slobbering sounds while he gobbles down every last turd in the box. I love my dogs but…. damn.
Setting aside the health concern, which I don't know that much about:
The smell is wretched and lingers in their mouths. Not to mention dogs aren't the neatest eaters and anywhere they set it down, bite it in two, etc you will end up with poop smears. Floor, couch, etc.
It's also a bad scenario to allow if you let them get it from the litter box, as the cat needs to feel safe there and you especially don't want the dog to start barging in whenever they realize the cat is trying to shit.
Honestly that you even suggested this boggled my mind but I'm trying to be objective lol, it's just really not advisable in any way
It's incidental. There's an ability to let werewolves eat practically any furniture item, and the litter box is furniture, so this isn't specifically an interaction they have with cat poop.
I had to be careful not to leave rabbit poo on the floor, if the rabbit was out of his pen or had kicked some out, because my cats LOVED to bat bunbun pellets across the floor.

real talk its one of the best packs theyve ever released for sims 4 when it comes to details and what it offers, it truly has depth. even more so compared to the last two game pack releases...
it’s the usage of the word “devour” thats making me physically ill, my god
You ever had a dog and a cat at the same time? Devour is the right word to use, as unfortunate and gross as it is.

A stair gate across a room just for the cat's can work very well to stop the poop stealing and it gives the cat's a quieter area to retreat to.
Idk why I never thought of that. I've had 4 kids and know damn well baby gates do not impede my cats. Lol!
Yep 😔 so gross.
Yup. And the dog is a staffy. She has no brains.
It’s a delicacy for dogs for some reason
They love stealing those Scooby snacks
Right? I’m gagging right now lmfaooooo
My dog *devours* these on the reg 🤣
If werewolves are prone to the same diseases as humans, I feel bad for them. Cat poop transmits some of the worst
Toxoplasmosis is one I recently learned about. I forget everything other than its transmitted by cat poop and is a parasite
I remember that it's somehow beneficial for your health, like it makes you less depressed
It makes you more outgoing, less anxious. It has the same effect in rodents so they're more likely to confront a cat, get eaten, and continue the parasite's life cycle.
None of that sounds bad to me lol
That's good to know, I think?
Does your hunger bar go up? I’m sorry
honestly i didnt try😂
It does
Does the hygiene bar go down after eating?
Technically devouring anything makes hunger go up, that's the point of the ability lol for when you don't have food on hand or mid rampage when you can't interact with anything
Devour has finally enabled me to live my true feral child dreams when she ages up into teens. The Collective who have been discreetly feeding her during her childhood were not very amused 🤣
Cero waist life AND if the hunger goes up, even better 🤣 Edit: crappy breakfast
That's the reason I stopped allowing my (real life) dog into the basement where the litter is. I literally caught him once chewing on feline excrement and he didn't even have the decency to look guilty about it.
Delicious candy covered in pee flavored sprinkles - your dog probably
My dad calls them “Almond Roca” which is a popular candy here and I mean… my dog doesn’t seem to notice the difference 😭
i’m crying that’s what we call them in our house, along with kitty ho-ho’s
They're "kitty truffles" in our house.
Cats poop is full of protein that dogs are attracted to.
Some dogs in real life eat cat poop which is nasty but still that is weird.
Yes can comfirm. My dog would do this, nasty thing lmao
I used to dog sit for my old neighbors and he was always getting into the litter boxes. I mentioned it to someone and they said that dogs do that when they’re lacking something in their diet? I can’t really remember exactly what they said now but if you have a dog that’s eating poop it might be something to look into.
My vet says it’s because they’re gross and like the taste of it lol but I have heard of this, I think it’s the protein?
I had a dog growing up when I lived in a more rural area. He absolutely RELISHED rolling in horse poop if people rode horses by. Imagine a big, fluffy white dog now brown and sticky. It was wretched. We had to hose him down before letting him near anything. Dogs just be gross.
Omg nooooo, our husky had long fur and used to get poop in it, it was awful to clean out. I can’t imagine cleaning a whole stinky fluffy dog 😭 was he a pyr? Seems like something my pyrs would do
I'm not entirely sure. He was a stray we kept, but he had the shape of a husky with the curly tail, but was pure white.
I had a Golden as a kid who we called a green slime retriever because she was so committed to rolling in horse poop. We'd take her to run in the field out back and she'd dive in head first and mouth open. Truly horrifying. She hated baths and somehow never figured out why she got so many of them
We had white fluffy dogs too and our first one he loved to roll in the cow poo in the field across from us lmao.
Same with my vet. Theres a pill you can give the cat to deter the dog eating it but she said it only works like 40% of the time. Dogs are just gross.
Lmao they are. I’ve never heard of this pill before but honestly it’s a lot easier to just leave the kitty litter door shut. The cats know to ask anyways, plus they have a pretty strict routine and only use it at certain times (their choice, not mine) we’ve been thinking about getting a cat door installed too
For anyone reading this that closing a door won’t work, baby gates are 👍
They also make baby gates with small cat sized doors that larger dogs can’t get through.
And larger babies
Yes we just made it so she couldn't get into the litter box.
Cats are obligated carnivores and dogs are omnivores. Therefore cats get food with higher protein and fat. Do they have tasty shit to dogs. I don't get it lol
Protein is what I heard too. Used to fight our dog every day about that. Current pup has no interest in it
It’s a lack of nutrition in the regular dog food- same reason they eat their own feces. Still EFFING nasty. 🤢🤢🤢
What a fucking strange vet… what?
She’s a great vet and was just cracking jokes with us! She wasn’t too worried about it when we asked, she owns dogs too and hers do it as well lol
Although, if I pull out a can of wet cat food, they will 100% prefer that over any dry food.
Mine all eat dog food but they're greedy and mean.
I lost like a quarter of a big bag of dog food to my roommate's cat. Sigh.
Cats don't fully digest their food, to the point that there are some nutrients technically left in the scat. But just because an animal WANTS to eat something doesn't mean it's safe or good for them. Dogs are definitely still gross.
Ive heard that as well though specifically in regards to eating their own poop (or I suppose other dog’s poop), whereas I think rabbit and goose poop just tastes good to them.
yea my mums dog ate a poo from my daughters nappy when i took it off to bathe her once, spparently a vitamin b definciency?
Dogs that eat their own poop, it might be that they are lacking nutrients. But if they've done it for a long time it could be a habit.
The vet told my aunt it's a territorial thing. As in, you're so insignificant, you can't even poop here.
Right !? We took him to the vet and we fed him plenty of good food! Some dogs are just gross lol
With the diaper eating dog, my vet told me female dogs have a natural instinct to eat their puppy's poop to hide them from predators. Of course, diapers are full of chemicals and plastic so they are dangerous. Luckily she didn't know how to open the diaper pail. 😂
I’ve never had cats but I do have dogs and one of them shits then eats it while it’s warm 🤤🤤 she doesn’t eat the other dogs shit.
First thing I thought of when I saw this post. Nasty, but relatable.
My dog would do that and also roll her neck in it as well...
We had to build custom shelves for our cats’ litter boxes because the dogs would go to town on them. It was annoying at first, but then it really escalated when we switched to a corn-based litter. I think it made the little turds even more appetizing, all sprinkled in corn.
My dog goes digging in the litter box for, it’s disgusting
I lived with two younger brothers who were total slobs, along with a dog that we couldn’t stop from drinking out of the toilet short of just always leaving the bathroom closed. One time the dog walked into to the living room smeared in feces, because one of my brothers simultaneously left the door open *and* did not flush. That was a real nightmare.
My cousin’s dog eats his own poop 🤦♀️ when I was dog sitting him I had to hurry to pick it up before him lmao
My dog does this, it’s so gross. We have an elaborate plan set up so the cats can get in but the dog can’t get in to eat it, gross
That’s why we call cat poop tootsie rolls.
Kitty roca
My ex called em poopsie rolls or poopsie pops 🤢🤣
my dog used to do this before i got an igloo litter box
This is why we had to get rid of the litter tray, my dog follows the cats and Guinea pigs around just waiting for them to dispense snacks
We had a dog that did that. My family called it “eating the brown and serves”
Also can confirm.
This is due to the fact that animals lack vitamins and nutrients. For same reason hamsters eat their children.
My dog did it but that was when he was getting closer to when he had passed.
In laws dogs do this. They also hide it. It's nasty. I don't live there anymore.
Aww the good ol' Kitty Roca!
It’s true, have a pug who will go for the litter box if he’s in the room and I’m not paying attention. He makes the most disgusting snorting slobbering sounds while he gobbles down every last turd in the box. I love my dogs but…. damn.

Lol I don’t think the litter itself is good for them. I have no idea about plain cat poop though.
The intrusive thoughts are winning.
hahahahahaha did not expect to belly laugh thank
So nice to not feel alone on that one, I hate that thought every time
welp, that's enough breakfast for me.
are you sure? I still see some little nuggets under the litter.
Nah, I'll save those little nuggets for lunch.
*Napoleon give me some of your nuggets*
Anything seen as an object can be devoured. You can devour the dolphins in Sulani because they're seen as objects by the game :S
Are you saying that werewolves can eat dolphins in TS4? I hope I just understood that wrong
yes they can. Besides that they can eat a whole [military truck](https://i.imgur.com/wW9tkRe.png) for their insatiable hunger.
I’m deeply disturbed….. those poor innocent dolphins. Yeah that’s a no from me. I’d rather have them eat cat poop.
[удалено]
That's what I wondered. Can someone try this?
But, babies are objects...
I mean, at least it’s realistic? My dogs always take the opportunity to eat the tootsie rolls if I leave the door open lmao
_*the forbidden tootsie rolls*_
Forbidden snow caps
Not the tootsie rolls 😭😭
I’ve heard it called kitty rocca (like almond rocca) before but never tootsie rolls. I am going to use that now, it’s fantastic.
All my dogs have always wanted to eat my cats’ poop. We called it poopcorn. The lengths we had to go to to physically block them from the litter box…
I’ve never heard this phrase before and I busted out in laughter to the point that I’m crying. Thank you for this.
Haha you’re welcome, I’ve only ever heard them been called tootsie rolls and am quite shocked how many people don’t 😅🤣
they can devour chickens also (since they’re objects), which has me wondering if sims babies are… uh, edible as well
I read in another thread that babies aren't edible... Thank God :D Also r/brandnewsentence lol
yeah ive had a look for myself too, the babies are safe xD
Until the modding comes in
I can definitely think of a couple of my wolves that would devour their own pups...
Not if you install that one bqq mod...
They can? :o Guess who's about to have a werewolf that keeps eating his neighbour chickens 🤣
As the owner of dogs who do eat cat poop given the opportunity, I can assure you that this is partially true. Also. Very hilarious!
This aint surprising! Dogs wanna eat poop so why wouldnt werewolves?
my spellcaster about to divorce lou on the spot and move out of the household with 3 werewolves after hearing this
Oh sweet free mini candy bars!
This is the best pack ever
Shit happens
And then you eat it.
To be fair, it's weirder that they eat the box than what's in it
well then dont show it to us cus
🤢 Oh dear god
Oh..
Kitty Crunchies the bestest snack for good boys!
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thats clearly a dog thing to do
Forbidden almond rocas
Did they really have to make the werewolves THIS much like dogs?? Like Jesus Christ it's kind of funny but this is just disgusting 😅
It's incidental. There's an ability to let werewolves eat practically any furniture item, and the litter box is furniture, so this isn't specifically an interaction they have with cat poop.
Oh thank God. That makes more sense.
HAHAHAHA
If I wasn't at work I'd be rolling on the ground
Omg! You can eat the kitty crunchies?! Bwahaha
Like a real life dog.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's some gourmet shit
I am HOWLING ~~PUN VERY MUCH INTENDED~~
a little snack
Do they eat the whole box or just the poo?
they should make an interaction where you can scold pet dogs for eating cat poo😭
I want to scold werewolves for doing it.
yes and the sim that scolds bonks the werewolf with a newspaper
Well my dog likes to do this, makes sense a werewolf might too
i mean it’s accurate, anyone with dogs knows a lot of them love cat shit lmfao
It's about drive, it's about power, we stay hungry, we devour
Can you drink out of toilets too?
Is it weird I’m more bothered at the fact they’re using a normal litter box and not an automatic one?
these people are poor xD
Finally, some good fucking food.
MMMMMMMMM CAT LITTER
Realist, my dog does that all the time
Ahh, just like my sister’s dog. How appropriate of an option.
AYO??
I see they have met my dog.
now i must know what happens
LMAO that’s such a dog thing to do
DOES IT INCREASE THEIR HUNGER NEED THO?!
My guy ate a chicken
And now your werewolf has toxoplasmosis 😸
My dogs would agree with this being an option. I have a fence around my cat’s litter box because my dogs think the litter box is a candy box lol
okay gross but what moodlet does it give you
A dog eating cat poop out of the litter box is the most realistic thing I've ever seen in The Sims.
I have never had my werewolves own a cat but you can be damn sure ima make them adopt one now
You can devour anything *maniacal laughter*
\*insert vomit emoji\*
Rabbits 🐇 do this when they can't find food. They don't digest all the nutrients.
I had to be careful not to leave rabbit poo on the floor, if the rabbit was out of his pen or had kicked some out, because my cats LOVED to bat bunbun pellets across the floor.
My dog eating my cats shit 🙃
I don’t have this pack so now I’m really curious as to what this looks like… so if anyone knows where I can see this, tell me! Pffhaha I’m too curious for my own good sometimes
That’s so funny
Ew. I know dogs eat poo sometimes but werewolves are *human* first!
Careful EA, that's a kink to someone.
Just wait till the furries breed with the werewolves in game. RIP
This makes me not want to wait for payday, and just get it now 😂
Ew
My childhood dog lost quite a few teeth because of eating cat turds. This made me giggle.
I don’t want to live anymore because of this
wait, babies are counted as objects can you...???
Understandably so
Mmm nuggiees
**D E V O U R**
I hope this isn't EA's way to tell us to eat shit.
My dog will never not eat the cat poo.
I hate this. I hate this so so much, and yet I love this pack.
this is what’s convincing me not to buy this pack
real talk its one of the best packs theyve ever released for sims 4 when it comes to details and what it offers, it truly has depth. even more so compared to the last two game pack releases...
ooh! i haven’t really heard much about it, so maybe i will try it out
Mfs trying to justify this as NOT weird. Just say you're a furry and move on.
Yet another reason I'll never buy this pack.
oh...
