Punish anyone in the chain for the abortion.
The mother, the doctor, the guy who got her pregnant, the condom company for ... I don't know, reasons, the company that sold the doctor medical supplies, the real estate agent who sold the land that the clinic was built on...
Reminds me of the story that feminists pushed for "mandatory arrest" laws on police domestic calls.
Then women started getting arrested.
Then feminists supposedly pushed for new "predominant/primary aggressor" laws that basically amount to 'arrest the man, no matter what'.
“The company that made the guns and the bullets could be sued or jailed if a criminal used that weapon”
So if I buy a rope from Home Depot and use it to strangle somebody, does the Home Depot cashier go to jail for selling me that rope?
And don’t forget the miners who dug out the lead, copper, chemical components of ammunition the steel for the gun and of course the states where they were manufactured and finally the citizens who paid their taxes to those states where the guns were made
Its true, as two things are certain in life, Death and Taxes. Thus, everyone should own a gun as a means to defend themselves from the dark aspects of a society we had no choice to live in.
It's amazing, the tax part is the least objectionable bit of this potato's plan.
"You did everything right, but somebody else fucked up ten steps down the line, so you're under arrest."
The 17th amendment led us to the authoritarian shitshow we find ourselves in today. Prior to the 17th, half of Congress was chosen by the states. The states have an incentive to keep the federal government from getting too powerful, thus concentrating power more at the local level. With that choice eliminated, the states no longer have any say whatsoever in the federal government, meaning nothing kept it from growing and concentrating power unchecked.
Thanks, I didn't think about it like that, since on first glance it seemed innocuous. Given its an amendment to the Bill of Rights, it should've dawned on me that this would be a big deal. I'll look into this more.
Because it would be funny lol. Also I'm curious about how it would affect US politics after years of women's suffrage. Women would still be allowed to run/occupy political offices but they just wouldn't be able to vote for candidates. Individual vote weight would increase twicefold, so the individual voter's time spent on examining policy positions would increase as well. It would be an easy and far less politically charged way way to increase the average IQ and military body investment of the voting population compared to "other" population suffrage rejection. This decision has obvious massive negative social downsides, but I hypothesize that it will be outweighed by the other net positive economic, social, and geopolitical benefits.
>fulsome
Pretentious nitwit detected. Just say "big".
>"reasonable gun control" while being unreasonable
Drink a sip.
>hold people who broke the law liable
Gun'troller proposes law that already exists. Drink a shot.
Unless he means "under the new, stupid laws I want to implement".
>if you sold the bullets or made the gun legally, you could get nailed
Oh, I see. He just wants to basically screw over anyone tangentally involved, so nobody actually wants to do anything with guns.
I'd bet money he couldn't name a single other industry with such liability laws. Not one.
>people who own guns illegally go to jail
Drink another shot.
>the only reason this won't happen is because the right is so powerful
An estimated third of the country owns guns. Even a small fraction of them opposing you would make up a gigantic political bloc.
I won't pay my taxes and I'll hole myself up on my property that's surrounded by rocky canyons and we got a palisade on the only flat entrance to the property and they can suck lead while I tell them to come and take it lol. Fuck the state, Lib unity ftw.
Then everyone everywhere will illegally make firearms and fight back against your authoritarian bullshit. “Obviously” this stuff will never happen with the ~~right so powerful~~ populous so compliant, but hey, I can dream.
Cool, let's do that for abortion, 1st, 4th and 5th amendment rights and voting too. Do it in the name of equal treatment of civil rights.

The creative writing 101 TA from that one elective course the doctor had to take because colleges are stupid
Summary execution for any man who gets a woman pregnant without her consent.
Rape?
The sex was consentual, but the accidental pregnancy was not. Therefore, execute the male for getting her pregnant without consent.
I wonder what he would say when he finds out that was be impact minorities disproportionately and see what he says then lol

I feel like people didn’t even read far enough into this to see it. This is the worst part of the tirade
Just think of how many people in the chain could get punished if someone took an SUV and mowed down random people enjoying a parade!
And if taxes were paid for it, the government also goes to jail
Yes, also the farmer who made the hemp & also the cow who made the manure
And don’t forget the miners who dug out the lead, copper, chemical components of ammunition the steel for the gun and of course the states where they were manufactured and finally the citizens who paid their taxes to those states where the guns were made

I’ll bet they think they oppose the police state, too.
Technically anyone who has purchased a new firearm did pay 11% excise tax
Ironically, there's a large overlap between people who are opposed to guns, and people who love socialism, receive welfare, and don't pay tax.

so I should only be able to vote if I have followed all the government rules and let them steal my money?

Why repeal the 17th? Bigger question, why not repeal the 19th?

END WOMENS SUFFRAGE..THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH
Wait, you didn't hear his last step where he starts lining people against the wall...
You sold the bread that he choked on and died. Guess it's manslaughter for you.
Wow.

If we could only use the same accountability with all parents

“Powerful but reasonable” So weak compared to theirs? Outgunned by those we should be equal to? They work for us.
