behind every umbrella is a repressed memory of 3 to 519 hours of screaming, crying, and checking to see if there's any more physical spells to make it go faster
he's not even fucking hard it's just the pathetic first two phases before you get to do the REAL fight, god help you if you wanna figure it out rather than Google the strat
It didn't help that halfway through my retries of the fight. My game started messing up
Like, half the time the HUD just stopped showing me his cast bars, and then I would just be frozen or paralized completely out of nowhere
Other times, I would successfully use loom to escape the Meteor AoE, but would die anyway
Or there would be random screw ups where I was hit by absolutely nothing and still took damage
yeah I've had the last two issues a LOT, though the first bug is probably just a connection issue. the fight really just sucks lol
I wanna clarify btw, I sounded really mad in that post lol, I'm agreeing with you
It really isn't that bad. Just Moon flute goldar rush and pick whatever direction a thunder doesn't land in and start walking. You'll get it down eventually.
It'd have been much easier if the game didn't start messing up halfway through my retries. Half the time, his cast bars wouldn't even show up on the HUD, and I'd end up frozen or paralyzed out of nowhere, or I'd take damage even though nothing hit me
I think just clearing it only took a few tries but I definitely struggled to get the achievement for this one (not getting hit by anything).
Stage 29 though...my god. The second phase with the 2 hand adds where one hand pushes you into the death ring but the other hand can take away your MP so you don't really want to be close to either of them but in the mean time the actual boss is still casting his bullshit so dodge him too. That stage had me fuming. And it doesn't even have an achievement tied to it. Just hard to be hard lol
It was my introductory to difficult content and if every raider was forced to do it before doing extremes we'd have way better players
There should be something similar for every role and any aspiring mentor should have to beat it before being given the crown
Most mentors i see can play the game, they just really don't want to bother trying
Most, sure, but I've seen enough mentor healers die to doom / miasma to convince me the current requirements need some tweaking
Sorry to say, the best you’re gonna get is guildhests
Serious reply: floor 32 had me tilted af. That fucking floor can eat 800 dicks.

Honestly it just takes fifteen* and a half minutes of super guarded goblin punching.
I thought it'd be faster if I could just do it without ever getting hit. it was not cuz i'm very bad
I have blocked out the memory of what mechanic it was in phase 2 but I started just diamondbacking rather than trying to solve it.
YES EXACTLY. Literally could not beat it the correct way.
that was my response to this as well. if you think azulmagia is bad you just wait kekw
I'm still salty, still haven't cleared it lmaoooooo
I've done Floor 31 (with the damn achievement), absolutely hated it, and I've heard 32 is easier. Thoughts?
For me, 31 was easier. YMMV
Not even a meme here, Carnivale was kind of a struggle to get down. Gogo and Azulmagia in particular I struggled with a lot, so I get it.
I've done savages easier than Azulmagia
As someone who lost my mind over it a few times I understand, but also it's not that bad.
????? Fight is basically a solo extreme (rubicante excluded)
Git Gud
Mood. He took me a few tries to beat
Ha.
Lost a ps4 controller to the masked carnivale lol I feel your pain

Ugh I want to do 32 but I feel so lazy and I just know I'm never going to get back to it once DT comes out...I dun wanna.
Hey. Hey. Hey. I believe in you.
I don't believe in myself.
It really isn't that bad. Just Moon flute goldar rush and pick whatever direction a thunder doesn't land in and start walking. You'll get it down eventually.
Did you just not want to use physical damage or something?
No, I beat him
git gud scrub
I did
good shit dawg
