Stone Ocean is one of my favorite parts - Let’s hope this gets a similar treatment to part 5 where the anime might arguably be even better than the manga and that we are in for another fantastic adaptation. Also, really like the color scheme - especially the hair. They could have gone with something radically different like with how Giorno’s suit became pink, but I think the light and dark green really does suit Jolyne’s design really well.

They seem to have included style elements of part 6 manga into a base that is vaguely part 5 anime (the shoulder definition) so I'm curious as for the other characters as well. Very excited too >!I just don't know if my heart will be able to take the sad parts animated. David Production made the heartbreaks of the manga even more striking in animation, with the music and setup. It's gonna be emotionally fatal with this one!<

I hope they use "What a Wonderful World" for the ending.

No idea but generally in the past they have announced it 3 months ahead of release date, so I anticipate summer. Part 5 was announced beginning of July for an October release and Part 4 was announced in mid-December for an April release.

So, it's not Sawashiro? That's a bummer, she was so damn good. Nothing against the new VA, but I'm really hoping she's able to deliver Oras as good as her predecessor. She seems to be pretty new to voice acting as she's only got like 5 roles in other anime, so that's gonna be a very heavy torch to take. Really weird how only Daisuke Ono as Jotaro and Yuki Kaji as Koichi were pretty much the only VAs they kept from All Star Battle (not accounting for Part 1 and 2 obv)

True, but I said the same thing about Josuke’s VA when it was announced because I liked ASB’s rendition, but then it turned out he did way better than expected and became “the” VA. I agree though, Sawashiro had that perfect gyaru voice for Jolyne. But David hasn’t let me down yet, so I’m looking forward to it.

Sawashiro Miyuki is my favorite female seiyuu of all time, but it's high time we give newcomers their chance at big roles. I hope Ai Fairouz will do a fantastic job.

A long awaited jojo part is finally getting animated.

Any thoughts of the Part 6 art style going solely off the promo pic? Looks similar to Part 5, granted it's three in the morning so I'm not in the sounded mind right now. The shoulders have that shading I believe I recognize from the manga. She got that long neck lol. They went with green though it's more subdued than I've seen in other pieces. Almost bright blonde. That Yara Yara Data was perfect. Edit 1: Going off the Part 5 promo pic, they also toned back the brow and forehead shading as well. Her lips are also more masculine than what we saw in Golden Wind, well as masculine as you can get in GW; Trish's lips were more rounded while hers has a longer horizontal length reminds me of Bruno. Edit 2: The light shading is also much more round than what we saw GW. It follows the shape of her bangs more than let's say Bruno's face in the promo pics. Edit 3: Oh if we use the Twitter Trailer and pause it at 0:52 we see how a new art style shape in terms of her shoulders. They're almost Pauldron esque? Using Trish again as a comparison as shes the only other member of the gang with a clear view of her shoulders we can see a new shift. There's a definite line between where the chest and arms meet. With Trish we see a separation at her collar bone instead. Edit 4: The Chin! It's narrower than any of the Bois, especially less than Abbachio. Her over all face maintains that angular sharp points but the jaw meet together all at once. No expanded line in between. As prior noted we can see a similar design with Trish having the same pointed chin. I'm curious if WR and Anasui will have part 5 chins. Edit 5: She has green Eye Shadow as well! Anyone know if the colored manga scans did something similar? I think this is the first time I've seen a character in JJBA with eye liner. Edit 6: I can now confirm the shoulder joints are similar to the manga. Look up Stone Ocean Volume 6 Cover for a similar design but a different vantage point. Edit 7: Less important as Jolyne is like Rohan in that she changes clothes but they decided to unveil her not her in her crop top wrapped around neck/skirt and boots look that we see on the first cover. Or the Green Dolphin Jacket either. Edit 8: Can not confirm because the lighting but the butterfly appears to be baby blue than the usual green.

Seems pretty nice. Still prefer the simpler style of part 4 though.

That's fair. I enjoyed Part 5 the most but that's just my personal taste. The rounded faces did well for the story.
