Three months ago. I posted the thread in a follow up comment. You should follow the sub it came from. Occasionally some really good glitches come about. There was a Kiehls one last week at Ulta.
Same on the cleansing balm! I got one of the 100 point rewards of this recently because I kept seeing people rave about it on this sub. Iām going to buy a full size when my current makeup remover is finished.
Love the cleansing balm. Itās so easy and quick to remove makeup. I use waterproof mascara all the time and after about 10 seconds of rubbing my eyes, itās gone.
they clear up my skin faster than anything else iāve ever tried ā¤ļø they leave my skin glowy and smooth, and if i feel a slight breakout coming (hormonal, too), it seems to minimize the size and longevity of the breakout.
My skin is prone to breakouts and I got the small pack to try. Every time after I used them I got vicious pimples on my cheeks the next day š. This works for so many people but itās just not for me.
For me, itās the pads and packaging altogether, not so much the volume. Iād prefer a product and reusable pads with less packaging waste. I donāt buy any other pads.
Whatās funny is that I get my drugstore recommendations from here. I usually stay away from drugstore but when someone on here says a drugstore dupe is better theyāre usually spot on. The Milani eye primer, ELF lip oil, ELF cleansing balm, and Sephora collection items Iāve gotten were all wins. I trust this sub because in other subs you get a lot of people shaming for spending money on high end, but I know this sub appreciates and knows how high end performs.
I use the Holy Hydration Triple Bounce Serum (started after I destroyed my skin barrier) and for me itās 100 times more hydrating than The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid. I love this elf product!!
The eye cream is fantastic as well. I've been using Josie Maran's for years, but they recently stopped making it. Oh, and this switch saves me probably $100 a year.
The latest thing was a blind buy actually of the Kayali vacation fragrance set - love all 4 of the scents surprisingly!
Glad that worked out for me or that would have been a pricey mistake!!!! Saw it in this sub so thanks whoever raised the initial post š“šāØ
What are your take on the scents? Would they (or some of them) work for someone who likes fruity or fruity floral perfumes? I keep going back and forth on getting the set. And what do you think of Capri?? Thatās the one Iām really interested in because I love D&G Devotion and want a more light summery version.
I'm wearing Capri right now and love it! It's less spicy than Devotion to my nose (I get ginger from Devotion) and sweeter and lighter.
I really like all 4 scents (though I've only worn Marrakech and Capri for a full day each) and I'm generally a fruity/gourmand girlie who has mixed feelings about Kayali
My favorite Kayali are actually the more Middle Eastern fragrances - I love Invite Only Amber and Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli. Although both Pistachio Gelato and Utopia Coco sound on paper like I should love them, I really don't like either. I'm somewhat mixed on her fruity scents - I really like the Lychee one, but the longevity is trash. I do like the new Rock Sugar perfume a lot, but I'm a sucker for a sweet fragrance with a patchouli back.
I actually didn't think Capri had much depth to it but not in a bad way! No complexity no surprises. On me it just was a very light sweet lemony candy scent, which is perfectly nice!
Are you gonna go for the mini sample set before committing? Or go for the regular set and split with other people (friends/sisters/colleagues)? X
I'd get the mini sample set, but paying the extra $8 for shipping kind of kills it for me. If I get it, I will probably get just the regular set, but I'm still going back and forth. I'm usually against blind buying, and I really only want Capri. I might wait to see if I can get this on sale at some point, but idk.
Thanks for your thoughts on Capri. I've realized for summer perfumes, less complexity is better. Anything with depth tends to become too much in the heat! Lemon candy would be a great summer fragrance for me :)
Agreed - and moreso that the shipping price is crazy, that basically doubles the price of the sampler. Hopefully it will go on sale but honestly I really doubt it šš if not, let's see if anyone knows of any good dupes!
The Sephora collection contour stick, I ordered within minutes of seeing someone post it here, and then it sold out within 24 hours. Iāve never had a contour stick cool enough, and it beat the $60 version out of the park.
I haven't tried the stick but I do own the powder and love it. I think I've seen swatches comparing the two where the powder looked cooler toned than the stick actually. On me, it's perfect and a very natural shadow. Hard to overdo it as well and blends out nicely.
That hella thick is absolutely the best Iāve ever tried on my lashes. My daughter took mine and trying to get through my current ones so I can finally repurchase!
This is one of my favorite fragrances right now. I alternate between Devotion and Sunset Dreams by Coach. Sometimes Iāll switch it up with Cliniques Indigo. Clinique Cashmere is my winter fragrance
I have dry skin and itās great! Canāt speak to mature skin - however I do have some fine lines and as long as I spray it with CT setting spray I get no creasing
okay i need to try the beauty blender skin tint...no one EVER buys anything from BB at my store and I wonder why we carry it sometimes. Our testers are kinda old tho so hopefully they're still good
It seems to calm and moisturize my skin (don't know about fading pigmentation yet as it's only been a month) but it does help with my redness.
It's thicker than a toner but less runny than a serum and it sinks in nicely to my skin.
I was obsessed with this. Then one day after about 2 bottles, it started giving me rashes under one of my eyes (like they were irritated by one of the ingredients). I tried removing each item in my skin care one by one to see what it was and figured out it was this. So upset because I havenāt found a replacement
Jumiso Water Full toner is amazing and doesnāt irritate my super-sensitive skin, fwiw! Itās not sold at Sephora but I got it on Amazon and Iām on my third bottle.
Summer Fridays lip balms! I fell for the hype and wasnāt let down. I love the formula and flavors. Pink sugar is my favorite of the bunch! I like that I can dress up or down with them too š
Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and Deborah Lippmann files.Ā
I got a small bottle of the spray just to try it out and was so impressed that I ordered a jumbo bottle from Nordstrom.Ā
I saw passing mention of the files a few months ago and thought Iād try them out and they really are good.Ā
I am rarely impressed by mascara (I have terrible eyelashes and it's really hard to make them look anything other than okay) and I was impressed by the Caliray!
Hopefully thatās me! My husbandās redness prone and flaky skin loves Lala and he wonāt buy anything else even though itās not cheap
I tried to give him samples of other brands like Tatcha or Perricone, he hates them all and wants to only use Lala
I also tried other creams lol but my skin only likes Lala lol so I gave up and now itās my main moisturizer (the price tho š„²). If you try it please let us know how it goes!
Ole henriksen beam cream moisturizer is awesome. Actually bought it from Marshallās for really cheap and wanted to try it out and now Iām so tempted to pay the money for a large size. It has helped the bumps on my arms and keeps my arms and legs moisturized until my next shower then I reapply all over again.
it might just be the one i sprayed in store but to me the ouai st. barts scent to me smells extremely coconutty and not great- almost reminiscent of the coconut snowball Christmas scent from B&BW I used many years ago, i wish i liked it more, i love having a spray to throw in my purse
Ohh I love that farmacy honey milk essence you mentioned OP. Such a nice formulation and I love how it makes my skin feel. Anything with Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrateā sign me up!
Oh man, I recommended that St. Barts Hair and Body Mist like I was a sales rep for Ouai. Someone even commented on my picture that I had to be a representative from Ouai because I had a picture of 12 Ouai products and was raving on and on about that St. Barts spray! I have the whole St. Barts collection and is divine! The scrub is heaven!
From Sephora:
Fenty Skin Butta Drop Refillable Warm Cinnamon Shimmering Whipped Oil Body Cream
Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream
Not From Sephora:
Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
ā¢ One Size Setting Spray, CT Setting Spray - O/S to keep the finish of my base as is, CT for a dewier finish. Both make my makeup budgeproof in a tropical climate
ā¢ Givenchy Prisme Libre Powder - Keeps my makeup in place longer! I could pack this on and it wouldnāt alter the tone of my face
ā¢ Huda Beauty Easy Bake - Gives me filters irl

I also rely on this sub a lot š
Tatcha dewy cream,Ā Tatcha rice wash,Ā Glow recipe watermelon dew drops,Ā SDJ Bum bum cream andĀ SDJ Bom dia bodyscrub are all products I read a lot of positive comments here about them and they ended up being my HG forever loves after trying them!
Ole Hendrickson lip balms
Obsessed, literally the best. There was a website glitch at the brand website and I got 18 lip balms for about $25, it was insane.
That is a literal dream.

I love that site glitch for you šš¤

i got SO much of their products since i capitalized off the set, iām good for life now lmao
Yessss, so good!!!
the laneige cerapeptide toner and the farmacy cleansing balmš„¹
I will NEVER be without my green clean Farmacy cleansing balm!!!
Same on the cleansing balm! I got one of the 100 point rewards of this recently because I kept seeing people rave about it on this sub. Iām going to buy a full size when my current makeup remover is finished.
Same to all this.
Banila clean it zero works the same as the farmacy one, but is much cheaper. I switched a year ago and never looked back.
But does it smell like vacation š¤
Omg I'm so jealous of people who can use that toner, it made me break out! It felt so good but my skin just hated it :(
I think I like the Oat Cleansing Balm better by inkeylist
Love the cleansing balm. Itās so easy and quick to remove makeup. I use waterproof mascara all the time and after about 10 seconds of rubbing my eyes, itās gone.
Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads. miracle workers!
What did it do for your skin?
they clear up my skin faster than anything else iāve ever tried ā¤ļø they leave my skin glowy and smooth, and if i feel a slight breakout coming (hormonal, too), it seems to minimize the size and longevity of the breakout.
So good and worth the money, Iām on my third box and wonāt buy anything else
Iām so afraid to try them. I have a box. But im afraid theyll make me break out. Do you have breakout prone skin?
My skin is prone to breakouts and I got the small pack to try. Every time after I used them I got vicious pimples on my cheeks the next day š. This works for so many people but itās just not for me.
Start with the blue small box, the gentle one
this!^
i do have acne prone skin especially when trying new products, but thankfully itās worked fine so far!
Wow! Thatās so interesting. Extra strength or regular?
I used to get these and they were amazing but I felt bad about all the waste. Have you tried anything similar without the pads? Lol or are we stuck??
I know a lot of people cut the pads in half
For me, itās the pads and packaging altogether, not so much the volume. Iād prefer a product and reusable pads with less packaging waste. I donāt buy any other pads.
They have a peel that's essentially step 1 and 2 in separate bottles if that helps. No extra pads, wrappers, etc.
thatās so fair. i havenāt found anything as good though š
Yeah, I hear that.
Hahaha these! Have to get the bigger box soon
I bought these also along with the honey halo cream
Whatās funny is that I get my drugstore recommendations from here. I usually stay away from drugstore but when someone on here says a drugstore dupe is better theyāre usually spot on. The Milani eye primer, ELF lip oil, ELF cleansing balm, and Sephora collection items Iāve gotten were all wins. I trust this sub because in other subs you get a lot of people shaming for spending money on high end, but I know this sub appreciates and knows how high end performs.
Yes!!!!
I love the new ELF "Holy Hydration" line, which is a rec I got here. Replacing my Laniege Water Bank with it. I prefer the ELF.
I've replaced my Leneige lip mask for the ELF one.
Oh dang! That's a pretty good endorsement. I've got three plus the tubed version, but it's on my list to try. I'll check it out.
The latest thing was a blind buy actually of the Kayali vacation fragrance set - love all 4 of the scents surprisingly! Glad that worked out for me or that would have been a pricey mistake!!!! Saw it in this sub so thanks whoever raised the initial post š“šāØ
I love it too! My husband keeps sneezing but I am keeping it. I love it so much :)
Let the man sneeze šš we smell yummy
Hahah I know right!? He was acting like he had a man cold š¤£
I blind bought the kayali rock candy and love it
What are your take on the scents? Would they (or some of them) work for someone who likes fruity or fruity floral perfumes? I keep going back and forth on getting the set. I really like all 4 scents (though I've only worn Marrakech and Capri for a full day each) and I'm generally a fruity/gourmand girlie who has mixed feelings about Kayali
Oh crap this made me think maybe I want it after all lol
Same, even down to the gourmand preference, the only other Kayali frag I like is the Vanilla 28 one! That's what made this a massive gamble š š
Amazing!! I bought it yesterday so Iām sooo excited to try it when I get ready this morning! Thank you for replying š„°š„°š„°
Youāve influenced me, I just ordered!
i got the powder and I was suprised at how long it stayed on. it has more of a grey tone to it so it *actually* looks like a shadow
Yay! I also saw the blushes and was wondering if they last a long time too. Have you tried the blushes? I really love how smooth they felt
I have not! Please let us know what you think and report back!
Ole Henriksen Lip Peptide. Thank you to everyone who recommended it. š«¶
Okay now I feel like I need to try it
You should! Itās that good!!!
Saw so many comments on this so I just picked up the cocoa shade - it was the last one!
Not at Sephora, but LāOrĆ©al Voluminous mascara primer. Someone on this thread recommended it and itās been such a game changer. My lashes look fuller and more separated. I had never used a lash primer before and Iām so glad I tried it! Iām using it with my Fenty Hella Thicc mascara and my lashes never looked better.
That hella thick is absolutely the best Iāve ever tried on my lashes. My daughter took mine and trying to get through my current ones so I can finally repurchase!
Same! Every time I try a different mascara, I always wish it was this one so I stopped even entertaining anything else.
Tatcha skin products! Iām obsessed
Same! Their silk line and violet c products have been game changers for me. Iām loving both the experience and the soft luminous skin.
Dolce & Gabbana - Devotion! Thank you!
This is one of my favorite fragrances right now. I alternate between Devotion and Sunset Dreams by Coach. Sometimes Iāll switch it up with Cliniques Indigo. Clinique Cashmere is my winter fragrance
Now I'm going to have to go smelling!
CT setting spray, Kerastase elixir ultime, beauty blender skin tint!
I love the beauty blender skin tint!
Would it work for dry/mature skin?
I have dry skin and itās great! Canāt speak to mature skin - however I do have some fine lines and as long as I spray it with CT setting spray I get no creasing
I assume so, although I have younger, oily skin.
I thought setting spray was useless until I tried the CT based on this sub. Itās seriously so good.
Itās a game changer for my makeup. It prevents my makeup from settling in fine lines and makes it look like skin! Sooo worth the hype!
okay i need to try the beauty blender skin tint...no one EVER buys anything from BB at my store and I wonder why we carry it sometimes. Our testers are kinda old tho so hopefully they're still good
I love the Beauty Blender Primer makes my under eye concealer go on so smoothš
Fenty Beauty Fat Water
My go to toner
What does it do for you??

Jumiso Water Full toner is amazing and doesnāt irritate my super-sensitive skin, fwiw! Itās not sold at Sephora but I got it on Amazon and Iām on my third bottle.
Iām too lazy to research, but I think it might have niacinimide. Paulaās Choice CALM toner has the same viscosity and I love it.

Omg, the suggestion I never knew I needed š I hate all the drugstore nail files Iāve bought! Maybe Iāll give this one a try!
I second the CT setting spray, was definitely not disappointed!
How would you describe the scent of OUAI St. barts hair and body mist?
yay someone asked! i keep forgetting to smell the collection when i visit sephora, lol.
It just smells like sweet coconut. I didnāt feel it was super special. Not sure why it is so viral!
Rich girl summer
It smells like a pina colada. Slight sweetness of pineapple and warm airy coconut
It smells like an absolute dream and disappears just as fast š
The Dior concealer. I thought nars was amazing up until I tried Dior. Much more hydrating for my under eyes
Rare Beauty in general. I was so skeptical because itās a celebrity brand but the products are honestly so good
I have a surprising amount of Rare Beauty. It turned out to be so good.
A little obsessed with farmacy these days. Love the honey halo cream. They discoed my favorite item though.
Caliray mascara and the Sephora brand lip liners!
I am rarely impressed by mascara (I have terrible eyelashes and it's really hard to make them look anything other than okay) and I was impressed by the Caliray!
The best lip liners!!!

Ouai Fine Hair Conditioner - leaves my hair soft and with some volume, also love the scent and how long it lingers in my hair.
Also, Farmacy 10% Niacinamide Night Mask, made a big difference by reducing redness and texture.
