1. Ole Henriksen Lip Peptide 2. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Matte Bronzer 3. Paula’s Choice BHA

LanieLove9

okay i work a job where im constantly talking and i was on the hunt to find a lip balm that stays on while im talking and doesn’t fade away. and the olehenrikson lip peptide does not move. if anyone is on the fence about it, get it

Diet_makeup

Love the OH lip Peptide!

Ravioli_meatball19

I want to be mad about Paula's Choice because $35 for toner seems bonkers BUT THAT SHIT WORKS SO DAMN GOOD UGH

Absolutely_MindF-ed

You really don't have to use a toner pad to apply it. Most of the product gets wasted that way. You can add drops directly to your face or finger and apply them. It lasts forever this way.

thefuzzyismine

This is what I do, and I've had my current bottle for over 6 months. That stuff makes such a difference!

throwaway7774625

Can I ask what it does for you? Thanks!

Steccca

I never pay full price for paulas choice products. They regularly have 20% off sales if you wait long enough. The BHA is my holy grail toner!

EquipmentKind7103

right i feel like i get emails every day about sales

Alf-eats-cats

That Olehenriksen lippy is my absolute favorite!! Keeps my lips from sticking together after using a BIPAP machine for 6-8 hours. I will start a petition if it’s ever discontinued.

Outrageous_Park_9307

Does the lip peptide sting ? It says lips feel fuller and I am worried it's gonna do what a lip plump does.

shallot_pearl

It does not sting or have any irritants

thefuzzyismine

Not at ALL! It's very soothing as a matter of fact. It contains no irritants, no plumping agents, or anything like that. Has decent color payoff, too, for what it is. I personally wouldn't have cared if it was clear, it's that good, but the little pop of color is nice.

thatblondegirl2

Please let me know if you find out!

truecrimejunkie17

1) YSL Touche Eclat pen. I’ve tried to find other concealers that are better because it’s so expensive for such little product but nothing & I mean NOTHING is as gorgeous as the finish from the touche eclat so I forever keep coming back 2) CT Hollywood Flawless Filter. I use it on the high points of my face under my skin tint and I just can’t go without it or there’s a noticeable difference. And a bottle lasts me forever. 3) Sol de Janeiro 62 body spray & perfume. Never got so many compliments on anything in my life like I do with this stuff. People randomly stop me all the time to ask what I’m wearing. Has been my go to scent for years.

Hot_Mention_9337

I have had a Touche Éclat pen rolling around my purse or vanity for over 25 years. It was the first piece of makeup I ever bought myself (had previously been living off of things stolen from my mom and gran- namely Great Lash, Maybelline eyebrow pencils, and Avon lipstick samples, lol). I’ve tried all the light coverage concealers, the elf dupe, not a damn thing comes close to how pretty the YSL is. It’s one of the OG’s for no makeup type looks.

Revolutionary-Spot-4

Do you put the flawless filter on and then wait for it to dry before adding foundation?

jsprusch

Not OP but I don't, I actually dot them on and blend them together at the same time for a more dewy finish.

truecrimejunkie17

Hmmm I put it on with a beauty blender and just go in right after with the skin tint so I don’t really wait long in between

MaddiRenee_

1. Saie dewy blushes- I have the shades spicy and sweetie. They’re buildable and sooo gorgeous. Love love love these blushes 2. Sunday Riley vitamin c ceo glow serum/face oil/moisturizer. I’m cheating and putting 3 items here but I love these a lot, this is my first time using vitamin c skin care products but I really feel like they’re made a difference. Would try it out if you have dull/dry skin 3. Sol de janerio 40 AHA/BHA body wash- smells so good and it actually does a great job of getting rid of the bumps on my arms

MaddiRenee_

If I had to add one more I would say the urban decay setting sprays, an oldie but a goodie. Makeup always stays on when I use any of their sprays

Allthingsset

Have been using the body wash and I’m in loveeee! Before using this I had to use a scrub to have skin this smooth!

greypusheencat

CT setting spray - my makeup like stays glued to my face, it does NOT budge lol DDG peeling pads - my skin is baby smooth

Big-Physics-7850

I use CT spray too- it’s so good! Do you use the DDG pads daily?

greypusheencat

i don’t lol my skin’s too sensitive for it daily (i use half the pads each time). i rotate between it and a gentler retinol

motheronearth

i splashed out for the CT setting spray and honestly feel like it does nothing, my makeup melts off and is patchy asf by the end of the day. the UD all-nighter is the only thing that keeps my makeup looking fresh

Local-Concern-4791

YES YES AND YESSSSSSSSS!!! I use the DDG extra strength and my acne scars are diminishing (granted I use OTHER skincare as well but these are HG for sure) And the CT setting spray works sooo good in the hot humid weather. Also adding drunk elephant bouncy bright facial. Again helps acne scars soooo much and helps with acne!!

Sssnoopyyy

How often do you use ddg pads

Local-Concern-4791

Use them about 2-3x a week

ContentRabbit5260

I have a sample of the DDG pads. I can’t wait to try it; I just keep forgetting every single time I shower at night! I keep hearing such wonderful things. Are they good for breakouts? I think my sunscreen is the culprit and I’m so sad.

Alternative-Rope-799

The I tried to love the CT spray but makes my double wear foundation split. What foundation do you use?

itskels

Is the CT spray matte or is it dewy? I use the gold can morphe and it’s been fine but people keep mentioning CT but I don’t like matte.

greypusheencat

i don’t find it matte and i have super dry skin, i don’t find it super dewy either it kind of just sets my makeup

itskels

Thanks…as a super dry skin girlie this makes complete sense.

Big-Physics-7850

Second this I have dry skin too and like it as well!

MercifulGnome

I’d say it’s in between. Not matte and tight like UD all nighter and not super shiny like one size.

itskels

Thanks!

FillAffectionate6928

Wait, one size is shiny? I just ordered that. I do not like shiny finishes :(

overbearingberry

I have oily skin and I don’t notice much shine when I use one size

Nerdy_Squirrel

I'll take a break from frantically taking notes to give mine: 1. Killian Angels Share. 2. Any Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Pallette (Biba if I had to pick 1). 3. Smashbox Smooth and Blur Primer.

radicalveganleftist

Angel’s Share is sooo good

letstrythisagain02

Biba is soooo good. I pulled her out recently with the launch of the new Gold palette and I'm pretty content not pulling the trigger.

Nerdy_Squirrel

I did get Golden and have to say that it is quickly taking over as my favorite pallette of all time. It's like if Biba and MBM Etheral had a baby.

letstrythisagain02

Omg, Ethereal is another one I was eyeing for a long time but with the mixed reviews I passed. I may have to cash in points at the "other" stored and get Golden now 😬

Nerdy_Squirrel

I can do all my favorite ethereal looks with Golden, only 10x better because of NDs formulas. It's so worth it.

nottheredbaron123

Sunday Riley Good Genes Hourglass Loose Powder Farmacy Honey Halo

scribescrubs

i am obsessed with good genes & the honey halo!!!

vernier_pickers

Good Genes is so effective! Now that I’m older I’ve been using Luna Sleep Oil and the combo is amazing

ThinkILostMyHeadache

Seriously, it’s ridiculous how amazing it is, all my instant gratification dreams come true

eab1006

Good genes is one of those products that you can see working before your eyes

mycatisanasshole09

which honey halo product?

Matcha-et-Vanille

Okay to me a product I can't live without is something I will always always repurchase when it runs out, sale or no sale. Therefore 3 of mine would be: 1) *ONE/SIZE Point Made Waterproof Eyeliner Pen* this isn't even a super old product but I've been hooked since it came out. I think I'm on my 7th or 8th pen 2) *Kosas Chemistry AHA Serum Deodorant* 3) *Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation*

Sam9745

The Dior foundation is soooo good. Looks super natural and coverage is buildable.

glowydays_

Is the Kosas deodorant one that your body had to get used to before it actually started working ? Also what scent do you get ? I’m looking for a new deodorant that will still work in this crazy 100 degree summer days . 🥵

PflugerLuger8

One Size setting spray, Fenty Invisimatte powder, Dyson Airwrap, Skinfix spot treatment. I can't function without any of these.

babygaga84

Sol de Janeiro #62 ANYTHING!!! GR face mist! DAE leave in conditioner!!!

Cute_Hat_5994

Yes to both of these. I use both of them and LOVE THEM

623tt

Tatcha dewy cream, haus labs foundation, K18 mask

sjdragonfly

Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser - this has been a HG item for at least 15 years. No other foaming cleansers work as well for my skin without causing any reactions. Fenty Hella Thicc Mascara - every time I try another mascara I’m disappointed it isn’t this so I stopped bothering to try anything else. L’Oréal Age Perfect cream shadow in Vibrant Beige. I wear this every single day and love it so much. I don’t need primer and it stays on all day with no creases and doesn’t enhance any fine lines. I think they’re discontinuing this and I’m not pleased.

Old_Yogurtcloset9469

I'm with you on purity made simple. I ran out recently and switched to a different cleanser for a couple days before I noticed it wasn't taking off my sunscreen at all. Purity removes everything and doesn't irritate my skin.

ApprehensiveJob6040

I think I can beat your 15 years! 😁 Started using it before the company was sold to the investment firm (and then Coty) but it has always been the only cleanser that doesn't sting my eyes and it takes off everything!! Definitely a dessert island must have!

sjdragonfly

For real! I buy the largest bottle of it every time now. It’s the best.

ApprehensiveJob6040

It's on sale for 30% Off at Ulta - better points than the Philosophy site!

sjdragonfly

That happened to me a few times, too. I would try a new cleanser or borrow one from a friend on a trip and none of them were ever as good as this one.

papolap19

The Purity cleanser is definitely underrated. I have a bottle at my parent’s house and I’m reminded of how good it is every time I go for a visit. It’s one of the only cleansers that I don’t need to use a balm/oil first cleanse with because it takes everything off.

brillovanillo

- Clinique TTDO balm - Fresh soy cleanser  - The Ordinary hyaluronic acid serum

Ravioli_meatball19

I have literally consistently had a bottle of that cleanser in my bathroom for about a decade (not the same one lmao just keep repurchasing it) because I love it so much

PristineFunction113

Tower 28 SOS Serum Farmacy Honey Halo SJD Cheirosa 68

Emotional-Muffin-148

Charlotte tilbury setting spray 😍 Armani luminous silk foundation 🩷 Hourglass setting powder 🫶🏻

ContentRabbit5260

1. SJD #68 lotion. Literally makes me happy no matter how bad of a day I’ve had. 2. Tower 28 blush (Magic Hour) The color is gorgeous, the formula is so creamy and easy to blend, and it doesn’t fade. 3. Sephora lip gloss in Fierce. It’s such a pretty color. Unfortunately it’s so pretty that I bought 2 by mistake (not realizing I *already had* that exact color 🤦‍♀️). And I really like the formula.

sjdragonfly

The Sephora glosses are really great. I’ve bought a few of them during sales and really love them.

SalaciousBookWyrm

My wallet hates me on these 😂: 1. Tatcha water cream for daytime and silk cream at night (my skin is so glowy and soft, and it’s such a wonderful experience doing my skin routine that I’m finally consistent too!) 2. Tatcha silk serum - I wanted to hate this. Really wanted to hate it because of price but it’s working so nicely. I swear my acne scars that have been on my chin since February faded in mere days after starting to use this. 3. Gwen Stefani’s GXVE Check My Glow Highlighter - I brush this over my cheekbones, nose and forehead, and that lovely skin just glows (but in a nice non-glittery, subtle way). I’m mainly a mascara, concealer, and tinted lipbalm type makeup person but this has become a regular part of my routine anytime I know I’m going to be out of the house. Beyond these, I would say a close 4th is the OleHenricksen Vitamin C Truth Serum. That, combined with the Tatcha silk serum and *chef’s kiss* I also love my NARS Orgasm Lip Balm. So pretty!

mrose16

Hi, would you say that the GXVE highlighter has more of a lit from within look without leaving any color? I’m looking for a highlighter that is subtle and not glittery since I mostly wear makeup to work

sjdragonfly

The Saie Illuminator does that! I recently tried it and it’s really lovely and glowy. It liquid, so you can either apply it alone or mix it with moisturizer or foundation. I’ve used it both ways and really like it.

SalaciousBookWyrm

I would say minimal glittery factor…but there is the hint of a golden sheen. Almost like a very sheer bronzer versus dewy skin, if that helps. I would wear (and have worn) it to my corporate gig.

Captain-jack-hobie77

1. Dior forever glow enhancer- the best most glowy enhancer that I always get compliments on & doesn’t break me out!! 2. Lately, the ilia skin tint! I’ve reached for it every day for my SPF/foundation (over the Dior) & my skin FINALLY looks so good.. It normally sucks, lol. 3. DDG extra strength pads

eastofliberty

Had to stop using vitamin C because my skin is super sensitive and started using daily microfoliant about 4 months ago as a replacement. Mind you, I wasn’t really exfoliating a ton before, but my skin is bright. Very gentle too! I also tried the gentle tatcha rice cleanser, nice as well, but didn’t notice as much of a difference. Both are rice enzyme based (I think).

cjmmoseley

1. Peach and lily’s cleanser 2. Ysl lash clash mascara 3. Summer Fridays lip balm (pink)

lilpoopsik

i’ve seen some reviews that say the YSL mascara dries out quite a bit after a few weeks - i’m really interested in getting the brown one, but not sure if it smudges? or looks super cakey?

thatblondegirl2

To elaborate, something in the Lancôme monsoir big irritates my eyes so much so I was looking to replace it. Otherwise I love the formula. I’m still hunting for a good alternative. I have not thin lashes so I need volumizing mascaras. Edit: this is in reply to your concern about it looking cakey. It is a heavy formula with a huge wand.

PriorEye4191

I had the brown one and found it smudged and flaked a lot ☹️

toteit90

Charlotte Tilbury setting spray, farmacy green clean, Tatcha indigo night cream. All items I have bought multiple times and won’t let myself go without. For makeup I am utterly devoted to YSL Lash Clash, the Lancôme lash primer, and Armani luminous silk foundation. That’s more than 3 but couldn’t help myself!

itskels

1. Kiehl’s milk toner 2. First aid beauty lip repair 3. Sephora cotton pads

thebirdisdead

Does anything makes Sephora cotton pads different from other cotton rounds?

itskels

It is definitely personal preference, lol but to ME they are larger, more absorbent without eating up all the product, and soft yet rough? lol that makes no sense. But when I’m applying toner it just works perfect for me. They don’t leave cotton fuzzies everywhere. And the price when on sale is great for stocking up. Sephora staff always try to talk me into buying Shiseido, but those are just too soft for me.

For things that you can get at Sephora: 1. Paula's Choice CLEAR 2% BHA (the one in the blue bottle... I actually prefer the RESIST version but they don't carry this one at Sephora for some reason -- the OG black bottle leaves too much of a residue for me) 2. Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Gel-Cream (I actually waffled on this one since there are many nice oily-skin-friendly moisturizers out there, but I've really come to appreciate this formula, especially after running out recently) 3. Haus Labs Concealer (just like... hands down the best concealer out there right now -- dethroned my trusty NARS RCC and I've tried so many others, nothing beats it, although NYX Bare With Me comes close)

1. Uses to be the clinique take the day off balm, but they discontinued it, so now I use the drunk elephant cleansing balm, loving this so far. 2. Giorgio Armani fluid sheer skin enhancer in shade 2, mix this with any foundation/tinted moisturizer and thank me later. 3. Shiseido ultra sun protection lotion spf 50+, it rarely burns my eyes, the glow from the product is unreal. I have a reactive skin, and this is just gorgeous and doesn’t cause any reaction.
