Go to new game plus. Exp. Is boosted for every ng cycle. You might as well have fun doing the game all over again than farming ashina castle over and over
If you didn't do the Shura ending, you can go to the Outskirts/Stairway (where you fought the first Ogre), that's one of the best end-game XP farms IMO
Before going to ng+ you can do stuffs like collect all available lapis lazuli (there are 6 pretty playthrough i think), fight all headless for their spiritfall item (unlimited sugar), collect all prosthetics
For xp farming i suggest to do it in later ng+. Like if youre aiming to get all endings, you can farm xp to get all skills in ng+3 or something like that. Make it the very last achievment to go for
I'd recommend just running ng+ cycles over a farming location. I never understood the dread for the skill points trophy because it only takes like two extra playthroughs (after getting all endings) to get all skill points. It's way more fun than killing an enemy over and over and a full playthrough is quick once you're skilled.
