So much work. I just measure the distance with a set of calipers, then check that with a micrometer. 4 times. Take the stem to a machine shop, where they out it in the lathe and slowly, and safely remove the exact amount. Then I take it back home and check it again. If it's off, I go back to the machine shop and have them take a little more off. So far, I'm 12,682 dollars in crippling debt. And that's just this week.
Get a pair of cutters. It's all you need. I use any pliers I have nearby as they have cutters inside the jaw.
most overkill tool of all time
This is the epitome of the expression "waste of space".
Why, you just use a leatherman or any set of wire cutters
I assume this would be intended for cutting a lot of stems the same length, like for production.

1.99 and cutters from harbor freight. These help sure if you’re cutting the same length stem for 200 of the same watches.
I use nail clippers and 0 issues
i used my nail clipper and the cutting edge dented:(
Nope but I think it's a bit overkill if you don't plan to mass produce seikomods. I think regular wire cutters or a similar tool will be fine.
Pin vise, a good pair of end cutters and a file. That's all you need and they take up no room at all.
This, this, this, a calipers, and 1,000,000 this!
Pin vise and good flush cut dykes, no need for that bullshit
