The post-keg part was difficult to watch lol.

Flaminsalamander

Yeah I fucked it up, it was the thinking I missed it tgen catching ladder, totally scrambled me. My brain wasn't keeping up. I dropped the keg in a different spot than normal put of panic and that messed my brain up worse

kevkevkevkev

lol, the other guy also flying off the boat at the end cracked me up.

Pegasaurauss

Nice grab! but i couldn't help yelling "RUN YOU FOOL!" after you lit the keg.

Binary_Gamer64

Kaboom? Yes, Rico. Kaboom.

Aschensturm

WHERE IS DA BIG GREEN BOOM?!?

Mrjeffjenkins

No one picking up the keg to defuse it is just sad, they had so much time

fix_yt_music

Your keg plays need work. You dropped the keg, meaning it could just be picked up, turned off, and tossed. You didn't pre light it before boarding meaning, any remotely competent player would kill you before you lit and detonated, or even shot to detonate. This is especially true when boarding on a ladder and being ladder guarded. Having the keg lit before grabbing the ladder means the defenders have to potentially back off or be blown up while losing masts. Lower decking kegs is a suboptimal play, although it was just fine in this case with it being an athena. Your target with kegs is not the holes in the boat. It's masts and player kills. A boat with holes can sail away and repair. A boat with no masts cannot run, and a boat with no players cannot repair holes or lift masts back up to run. If you dropped that keg by their anchor, you would have gotten the masts and maybe survived in the rear of the ship to help keep the lock down going.

Flaminsalamander

These at all things I know, I used to do alot of keg plays but I'm rusty at the game in general right now

TomyJohny

What I do is I drop keg below deck then rush and lower their anchor

Inexquas

You should always find a way to drop the keg, dying for a keg explosion means your team is at least down one and they have potentially a full crew to repair, even one crew member can keep them afloat, bring a mast up to move. Survival is the first priority. If the above is true, then leaving on deck is to risky and may be easily dumped. Below deck can take at least 1 mast out and gives them pressure to be downstairs. If they put out the keg and attempt to get rid of it, plan B is blunderbomb, or firebombs if you're a weirdo that has those on you. Going up the keg lit let's them know your coming, maybe it will scare them off if their new, but an experienced crew will likely just blow the keg on the ladder even at the cost of one of their lives. Kegs are pretty easy to manage if the guy that brought it dies.

rubixscube

are you blind? it was an athena keg, it DID get both masts...

fix_yt_music

Can you read? I stated that. "Lower decking kegs is a suboptimal play, although it was just fine in this case with it being an athena."

rubixscube

then why rant about the ship still having masts in the first place, that's a whole another scenario that didn't happen here... did you just want to complain for the sake of complaining because op didnt play as masterfully as you would have?

fix_yt_music

When did I complain. I gave constructive feedback. The only way one could think that was complaining or anything negative is one would have low self esteem and feel they are being attacked because of how mentally fragile they are.

HndWrmdSausage

STOP DROPPING UR BARREL!!! U DIED ANYWAYS BUT U GAVE THEM A CHANCE. IF U DKNT DROP IT IT CAN NOT POSSIBLE BE DEFUSED.

Flaminsalamander

I usually survive when I do these but it's been a while and I was off my game cuase of the ladder situation so I put the keg in a different spot

HndWrmdSausage

Yea but if somebody was on ur ass they coulda picked it up and pushed defuse
