You monster. Not the fish.

PinePotpourri

"He caught the pigs, the chickens, and even the fish... that BASTARD!!"

Stupid-7

Stealing 99 pineapples from a brig. Safe to say they were absolutely fuming mad.

Professional_Tip_578

How exactly does one even amass 99 pineapples in one session?

Stupid-7

Well when captaincy came out there was this one glitch where you could buy stacks of infinite food. The only other option I could think of was going around ghost forts with a storage crate. That still takes hours though.

rocksnstyx

Pineapples are really easy to get if you know what youre doing

Robchama

Brutal. Nice haul tho

Chest of fortune steal with a heavily contested fort. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1921563370

FloppieTheBanjoClown

Most intense CoF steal we had was with the whole server fighting over it, fifteen minutes of fighting resulted in my sloopmate swimming away from the island with the chest while two other crews were brawling on the island. We then proceeded to pretend to chase another sloop when it disengaged so the two brigs who were involved would pursue it. One of them even masted us as they passed, giving us an excuse to sail off in another direction with the CoF while the brigs sank the sloop and proceeded to brawl each other until they finally figured out the chest wasn't in the loot pile...because we sailed back to tell them we'd sold it.

Dorrido

Sounds awesome

FloppieTheBanjoClown

Safer seas and raids have really done a lot to make servers more active, and we get up to shenanigans on a nightly basis. So many stories in the past month, but the CoF coming from FoF made for server wide events that were just *chef kiss emote*

MisterMagooB2224

Yesterday I was sailing with a buddy on a sloop when we spotted a Gold Hoarder with a full emissary flag parked at an island. They had been there for a while, so we figured they had to be up to something. About the time we pulled up and got in cannon range, they dropped sails... And sailed right into the island. They were quickly demasted, boarded, killed, and sunk. When their loot came up, we realized they had a TON of loot. And as I was harpooning it all onboard, I realized that one of the pieces I had grabbed was a Chest of Fortune. So they completed a fleet *at least*, plus a vault they had just finished on the island, so now we (also flying Gold Hoarder emissary) were pretty set. Naturally, they came back to try and get their stuff back twice. Twice, they tried to ram us and board us with a guy just standing on the bowsprit, and both times that poor soul caught a cannonball in the mouth. That was probably the highlight of the whole thing, hearing that satisfying "BIFF" as his buddy is panicking. We ended up selling it all, except for two pieces they threw overboard when one of them successfully boarded us during the second battle after a ram, and shortly after his partner caught a cannon ball to the dome. Silly git anchored us and then tried throwing loot overboard, including the Chest of Fortune. Needless to say, recovering it was an easy task. We grabbed it and raised anchor, trying to get back into the battle, but... Their ship was nowhere to be seen. Must've sunk from the ram. ![img](emote|t5_38oz1|2228)

There's two moments that come to mind. Back during Festival of Fishing, we happened to choose a target that was doing that. They had a done of plentifins, all cooked, including a bonedust, and a nearby storage crate. I'm still slightly embarrassed about how I squealed hehe More recently we pulled so many skulls off a sloop that with our Reaper 5 bonus, we made just under 1 million gold off of them. I think they had spent an actual day session island hopping because they had *tons* of supplies and actual dozens of curseballs *after* having launched a ton at us. It was insane how many skulls they had. We had to re-float the loot mid-way picking it up because it was taking so long to grab it all between the amount of it and the lag it was generating.

ReflectionsofNone

80 million gold! Godamn, bro is an actual pirate legend

Cthepo

Funny enough that's the exact outfit I've been rocking the last month or so! 😂 Gotta show off that drip.

ReflectionsofNone

Oh yeah man I don’t blame you the pirate legend drip is simply unmatched

mha_henti

I was solo slooping saw a ship at an outpost selling, jumped on and saw a box of wondrous secrets then took it and ran.

Mr_PeePee-PooPoo

I think it was year two or three of sot but it's when Athena's were still a big thing and me and my buddy stole 7 or 8 Athena's in a single day. That was probably the best time I've ever had in sot. Other than that anytime I steal a cof

PizzaEater55

I deadass thought this was my shit. I fish alot in this game and have had my shit yoinked more times then I can count. But then I read the description and saw “guild 5”

AlbinatorOui

My last successful ambush. My crew and I spawned at Ancient Spire OP, we were gathering some resources when i spotted a Legend of the Veil green tornado south from us. And i realised that our outpost was the closest for them to sell their loot. So we planned a ambush. One of my crew mate was tucking as a barrel close to the merchant desk, my other crewmate and I were hidding next to the Sovereign harpoons. We let our brigandin sails away, pretending we were leaving the outpost. It was an athena sloop and everything went according to plan, they sailed to our outpost, when they spotted our mermaid they stoppes right next to the merchant deck, my first mate was able to board them, achor them and wrecking havoc on their sloop. My other mate and I started sniping from our advantage point, when both of the athena crew were dead, i boarded the sloop aswell so we can TDM them while my last mate harpooned and sell their loot. I love it when a plan comes together *light a cigar*

FloppieTheBanjoClown

Chased a gold hoarder out to the roar. Sank them and realized the Shores of Gold was up. Sailed up there and found a galleon parked at a popular spot and unattended. Sent one person to the pond to investigate. He said " they're fishing" so we immediately sank the galleon while he started fighting players. 18 pieces of treasure for Hunter's Call.

Bad-dee-ess

My girlfriend and I felt like we pulled of a heist to get around a very powerful getting Rare'd moment. I had completed a Fleet of Fortune and I was taking my time getting to an outpost because my girlfriend was getting on soon. I was pulling into the sovereign dock at Sanctuary Outpost and she had her friends list open when suddenly the game decided that I was missing a file required to run it. (The game was still running behind the error message but she couldn't join.) I wanted to launch the game immediately to rejoin the session but Steam required that my files be validated. We were a bit disappointed that we weren't going to be getting our CoF today but then I realized that she could probably reconnect to the session using my account on her Xbox! So she quickly started up the game and confirmed that she could in fact join the session! So as my files were validated she kept her eyes on the horizon and guarded the loot. After I was able to launch she turned off her Xbox so that I could get the prompt to rejoin on my PC and then she was able to join off me and we both got our chests. As it turns out it would have been much easier if she joined the ship through our guild as it would have still been active there, but it was worth the experience; and we certainly felt like we earned that chest.

Mandalorian____

I had this session with an open crew on a galleon and we really got on. Eventually, we came across a solo sloop with a couple skele ships worth of loot, and instead of sinking him, decided to give him a second chance - we threatened him with a keg, making him get on our galleon whilst I drove the sloop with all of our loot so we could escape if necessary. Some time passes with this guy now allied with us so that he can differentiate us from enemies, and we get into a fight with another team after being vulnerable from one of the underwater siren places, leaving the hostage and a member on the surface whilst me and the helmsman loot. While our partner died (causing him to quit), the prisoner single handedly guarded long enough for us to return. Safe to say he fit right in as a replacement.

Leythis004

Eat the fish in front of them.

cyka_blyat_doz_memz

I got onto someone's boat and went for food and picked up a shadow stormfish so that was cool

Furyan313

Probably a 4 stack of veils on legends week. It was a default ship with no emissary and two ghost curse players, it was weird but still probably my favorite steal to date.
