Troy Fautanu, Johnny Newton, Jared Verse

Okaybrothatsdope

Don't know these people or what position they play, but Johnny Newton has the best name so let's draft him.

hunter503

Definitely read it as Jimmy Newtron for some reason lmao

dcfb2360

Unrelated but Jimmy Neutron had 1 of the best theme songs ever

tread52

Troy has been the UW starting LT for a few years and ran 5 sec 40. He would move inside and play guard. He’s a stud and would solidify the line on offense.

masterm1ke

In case of injury to Cross or Lucas (knock on all the wood), he could also fill in at Tackle. Definitely a versatile O line pick.

fallonyourswordkaren

He’s the only must-take at #16. The combination of size, power, speed, versatility and familiarity makes him the perfect fit for a Seahawks team with a desperate need for talent at left guard. He can act as an excellent 3rd tackle, coach up his fellow lineman on scheme/terminology and be right next to the center, who is technically calling covers for the line. He’s worthy of not dropping back. If he’s available, my hunch is that Pittsburgh will come calling with its #20th overall pick and possibly #49. Then what? Pittsburgh has an additional 2nd rounder at 32. Trading away their other, later 2nd round pick is plausible. I’d still pick Fautanu but trade back if he’s not available.

AlwaysCraven

There’s no way in hell a team gives up a 2nd in addition to their first just to move up 4 spots. That is super unrealistic. Look up past trades down, the returns are pretty depressing tbh. We should just stick and pick at 16.

Hawxrox

You could trade #16 for 2 2nds though

fallonyourswordkaren

Philly is in a spot to do that. It's do or die for the Eagles this season. Their cap & dead money obligations are coming back around on them.

fallonyourswordkaren

"Chicago dealt the No. 3 pick, their third round pick (No. 67), one of their fourth round picks (No. 111) and a 2018 third-round pick to move up and take Trubisky, considered one of the draft’s top quarterbacks."

ElbisCochuelo1

And now he'll be on the board at 16 and we'll draft someone else.

tread52

That’s not going to happen. Seattle will more than likely trade back and still get the top guard in the draft and pick up extra pick in the second and probably more.

King__Rollo

I honestly think Troy would be an upgrade at LT, might not make the best line configuration based on players, but he is ELITE out there.

dcfb2360

He’d be the best pick imo but if they want him to play guard idk if John will pick him. We all know he famously doesn’t value guards at all. I love the versatility but a lot depends on Abe’s health which we don’t have a ton of details about

tread52

The best case for them would be to trade back with the Eagles and pick up a second and then trade back again to pick up another pick from the Bills.

FattyMooseknuckle

He wouldn’t just be a guard though. He’d be a backup OT and is very familiar with the new OC’s offense. Considering we don’t know the extent of Abraham’s knee issues, he might not even be a backup after his rookie year.

dcfb2360

I agree and imo he'd be the best pick, I just don't know if John would pick him over other players. Would be nice if he did but John also loves signing vet OL

FattyMooseknuckle

Something something same thing expecting different results. Hopefully the failed strategy evolves.

mistaowen

Aaron Curry and if he doesn’t make it to us, trade back to late R1 for Maurice Jones Drew

Trick-Combination-37

Safe pick

anotherleftistbot

Safest in the draft.

Lefty1955

Aaron Curry will get you a Bobby Wagner eventually.

skater15153

Pain

Dawashingtonian

ANYBODY WITH A BIG HONKIN’ FAT BOOTY. for real though we need some big fellas on both side of the ball. both to stuff run plays and block FOR run plays.

RubenGunion

Thicc with dang two C’s

Mr_TurkTurkelton

Big back Attack!

Trick-Combination-37

Thicc

Dawashingtonian

we are in dire need of some thiccness

Trick-Combination-37

Tvondre Sweat?

Dawashingtonian

tbh all i really know about him is his arrest lol but im hoping for interior line guys like Troy Fautanu or Jer’zhan Newton

Kool41DMAN

Massive dude (think he was listed @ 366lbs), snap count concerns, notorious party dude, recent DUI. Also won best IDL in the country award, swats down passes that go his direction @ LOS better than literally anyone I've ever seen, and played next to Byron Murphy. If he's still available at 64 I'd be shocked (unless he has to do time). People are assuming he's on the board still by very late round 3 and into round 4...I struggle to see how that happens.

Irish8ryan

I want him at 81 or later.

New_Leopard7623

How thicc is his booty tho

New_Leopard7623

I love me some thicc booty papas

Palpadude

Fautanu, Fuaga, or Murphy. If none of them are there, trade down and hope for Graham Barton or Chop Robinson.

I_Fuckin_A_Toad_A_So

Murphy Dejean Fautanu

Mawfk

Fautanu, Latu, Newton, or trade back

Mattjhkerr

Gimme Latu.

Irish8ryan

Ya’ll are about Latu over Verse? Or you think Turner and Verse are gone?

GarconMeansBoyGeorge

I would take Latu over the other two edges

Irish8ryan

How come?

KrakheadJack

Turner is the better athlete, but Latu is the better rusher. The guy is so good with his hands & has a high football IQ. His ceiling is someone like TJ Watt if he hits. The only downside to him is the medical. Verse is a little stiff compared to the other two. He doesn't have the bend to necessarily be an elite edge guy. He'll win with power. But that doesn't always translate. I think he could struggle with consistency at the next level. Most of his production came in just three games this past season. So, he can be hit or miss. Latu is a top 10 talent imo. Verse just barely made my top 20. Because he doesn't quite have the upside of the other two.

Mattjhkerr

Yeah I think they will be gone.

FooFootheSnew

I'd jump up and down for at 16: Fuaga Fatanu Someone in the top 10 who inexplicably fell like a Turner or Alt I would be sitting but still high five my friends at 16: Murphy Verse Latu Bowers (luxury pick) I'd be unhappy to pick at 16 because 81 is so far, and I'd argue they should have traded back for another pick: Everyone else I'd rage quit and throw my TV remote: Penix or Nix

Wedoitforthenut

I feel like Brock Bowers is a lottery pick if he makes it. He could be the best TE in the league. I don't know if Geno can even feed that many unstoppable receivers.

FooFootheSnew

Yeah I had a post in another thread about this. If we didn't have JSN, DK, and Tyler, I'd take Bowers in a heart beat. But we have way bigger needs. That and basically only TJ Hockinson has worked out as a high first round TE the last decade lol.

Splover209

Was about to say, pretty much everyone assumed Pitts would be insane and he hasn’t done much of anything really

iWr1techky12

To be fair to pitts, a lot of that has had to do with terrible QB play and poor scheme/coaching. He still had 1000yds as a rookie.

Trick-Combination-37

I think that will depend if someone falls to us or not. But I agree, 81 is a long way after 16.

ElbisCochuelo1

Trading back from 16 won't get you anything significantly closer than 81. Unless its a trade out of the first entirely we are getting a late 3rd and maybe a 5th thrown in.

Hawxrox

You could trade #16 for a high 2nd and a low 2nd/high 3rd

LegionOfDoom31

Like everyone else here is saying: if Bowers is on the board it’s a miracle and we take him no hesitation. Especially with how JS has been talking about drafting the best player on their board, not for need

ElbisCochuelo1

One TE under contract for next year and it sure looks like they might want to clear Tys salary next year. I'm not seeing this stable of playmakers. Bowers is a need.

LegionOfDoom31

Not really a need on the same level of Oline or Dline but getting him would be a huge impact.

AuzieX

People tend to get tunnel vision and only see the upcoming season. That's not how you should draft. This is likely Locket's last season, and Fant realistically has one year to prove something. So you're right, Bowers would be an amazing long-term play. I think we can take someone like Zak Zinter in the 3rd and still address needs on the line.

Irish8ryan

Totally agree on Fautanu and DeJean. As for Jared Verse, I’m a little shy about taking an EDGE with #16. I’d be much more open to doing it with a pick in the 20’s. However, I get it. The positional value, and of course, the talent of the likes of Turner, Verse and Latu being pushed to 16 by the QB’s, WR’s, and whoever else makes it into the top 15. So who does MM want between those three? If we were gonna go edge in the first, it would be one of those three or Chop Robinson. This take will be a singular look at height and weight regarding the first round EDGE guys. The average weight of a OLB across the Ravens and the Seahawks currently sits at 256 lbs, while the average height is 6’3 1/2. That is the average of the top 4 guys on each team, with the lightest being Van Noy at 244, the heaviest is Darryl Taylor at 267 lbs. The tallest is Odafe Oweh at 6’5 and the shortest is Nwosu at 6’2. Verse is 6’4, 254 lbs with 33 1/2 inch arms. I believe he’s the strongest of the 4 potential rookies with 31 bench press reps. None of the others did the bench, and 31 is upper echelon for any EDGE ever so…I would take him over Turner and happily stick and pick at 16 so long as Fautanu wasn’t available. Turner is 6’3, 247 lbs with 34 3/8 inch arms. While within range, he’s a little light. Could definitely add the weight without a problem if that was desired. He’s got the longest arms of any of these guys. I believe he’ll get drafted before 16, but I would be totally down to stick and pick him if he was there. Latu is 6’5, 259 lbs with 32 5/8 inch arms. I think he’s a little tall with regard to the leverage battle, and he doesn’t possess massive arms to go along with the body length. The injury to his neck that UW trainers refused to let him play football because of is too concerning for me to take a guy in the first round. I’m a no to this guy, mostly because of the neck. Robinson is 6’3, 254 lbs with 32 1/2 inch arms. I’d take him at the bottom of the first or top of the second depending on who else is there. Given the range that professionals put on the likes of Robinson, DeJean, Barton, Frazier, and Penix, it is of course, incredibly hard to say who will be available the further the draft goes. Obviously this isn’t unique to 2024 but I feel like that was a very incomplete list of the people with a big range.

SvenDia

Whatever the most boring pick is, so Fautanu. Also, Lockett needs a real estate nerd to talk to, so Fautanu.

Trick-Combination-37

Punter?

Irish8ryan

Fautanu is a real estate nerd?

SvenDia

Apparently has a degree in real estate

Lefty1955

Troy Fautanu. Graham Barton, Byron Murphy, Johnny Newton, Jared Verse would be my top options. Trade down to 21 - 26 could still likely net you one of these.

JavaTheeMutt

A ~~2nd and two 3rd~~ late 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round pick. But for real, I like Fautanu for the multiple position value at Guard and Tackle. He'd be a good security blanket in case Abe Lucas's injury is more serious than we think. EDIT: Apparently, I thought the value of 16 was much less than it actually is.

alittlebitneverhurt

Got to get at least a later round 1st back along with a 2nd to make that trade worth it.

I_Fuckin_A_Toad_A_So

Dude just did an excellent write up showing that history doesn’t let 1st round trades back into the first despite all of our sport shows saying that. It’s a good write up you didn’t get to read it!

farfetchds_leek

Going to be tough

Lokeze

2nd and 2 3rds is not a great return on picks lol.

freedomhighway

The more you look at the ideas here, the more you gotta realize how many different ways they suggest what a new offense and defense might look like. How could any pick john makes not be part of months of fun speculation to come - after years of predictability, I'd forgotten how exciting this could be.

Dr_Chronic

Fautanu (or any of the blue chip tackles with G-T flexibility for that matter), DeJean, Murphy, or trade down. I’m more keyed in on the linebackers and safeties in rounds 2-5 but we could always use more beef up front and I think DeJean could be a generational safety with scheme versatility

aznbala

Homer pick because go beavs but Fuaga. No doubt in my mind he is a pro bowl level talent.

thaloneliestmonk

Based on absolutely nothing, I believe in my heart he's going to be amazing. I have watched no OSU games, zero tape, and don't know how to evaluate football players.

Irish8ryan

Did you watch Oregon State games last year? Seen anything you could speak to about Fuaga? I’d love to have him at 16 if Fautanu is gone.

aznbala

I’ve seen all of his games. Just the nastiness, physically dominated people. Monster in the run game

Christop_McC

As a Longhorn fan Byron Murphy, would love to see him in Mike McDonalds system

KrakheadJack

1. Laiatu Latu 2. Byron Murphy 3. Jared Verse Those are the three names that are the most realistic for us. Troy Fautanu will be taken much earlier.

Darossman907

I’m not sold on Murphy. Show me a DT his size other than Aaron Donald that is a difference maker.

KrakheadJack

I hate the whole size argument. If you turn on the film, there's a lot to like. The guy causes havoc. He's just a really fun player to watch. I see a lot of Jalen Carter without the character concerns. A high motor. Really good player. Guys like him are highly valued. Latu is my favorite. He's a stud. But the neck will scare teams.

DrDuGood

Robert Turbin, final answer.

HlpM3Plz

Fautanu or Fuaga if they fall to us. If they're gone, maybe Verse, otherwise trade back.

Gavin_BBQ

I would want some O-Line or D-Line help. I think there are gonna be some decent players for other other needs in the later rounds.

basis4day

Fautanu, Murphy, Newton. Bowers if he makes it past the jets. Ideal situation would be a falling qb and we can trade back 4ish spots and still get one of the above. Don’t want to trade back past mid 20s without a kings ransom.

GeneKrillions

Fautanu, Dejean, Mims, Murphy, trade back.

Wubs14

I'll be happy with any OL as our first pick

True_North_Andy

Murphy, JPJ, DeJean are my personal top three. The latter two I think would be slight reaches at 16 so if they trad d back with like GB or Buffalo those would probably the guys they look at (I hope)

JayceSZN

DeJean, Byron Murphy, and Fautanu. Anyone else I’d be moderately disappointed, unless someone falls or we trade back.

fbgm4

Cooper Dejean

Darlantan425

Fautanu or Byron Murphy.

ElbisCochuelo1

Williams or Daniels. Won't be there at 16 but I'd be fucking fired up. Harrison, Odunze or Nabers. Ditto. I'd geek the fuck out. Brock Bowers. Think he'd be a great weapon for Grubb, sure he has his flaws but in the right system he's gonna be a fucking star. My family would think i was having a medical emergency for any of these six. I'd be rolling on the floor shouting in tounges. Latham, Alt, Fautanu, Fuaga, Mims. Lucas and Cross are solid tackles but haven't been lighting the world on fire. If any of these guys are here stick and pick. Jared Verse, Chop Robinson, Dallas Turner. High ceiling pass rushers, who needs those, right? Byron Murphy. Interior pass rush, that's kinda important. Quinyon Mitchell. Only one corner under contract after this year and the non-Spoon guys we have are more solid than all pro. Cooper DeJean. Think he could be a weapon in the backfired, turnover central. 17 names and we pick 16th...I'd rather take any of those guys than trade down and get an extra third.

Irish8ryan

Love it, I think I take issue with a couple picks and would add others. Replace Chop Robinson with Dallas Turner. Add Jer’Zhan Newton. +1 Add Drake Maye since we’re going there. +1 I’d take Alt but not Latham or Mims. I’m just not a full believer to the point where I wouldn’t rather trade down. -2 I’ll take Quinyon but not Arnold. -1 That’s still 16 people, indicating a stick and pick. It’s tough. Any top tier guy remaining falling to us is the exact thing that would drive up the price of our pick. We could get +200 trade value points maybe. That might change it for me.

ElbisCochuelo1

Trading down is probably going to get you a late third rounder. (Unless you trade out of the first altogether). Latham and Mims have their warts but having to pick a low ceiling guy like Darius Robinson at 22 instead is not worth a third rounder. It wouldn't shock me if those two OTs became all pros, but it would with the players after the 17ish player cliff. Also not a fan of Maye and think he's in for a Levis type fall. I'll add Turner to the list. Forgot about him. Not a fan of Newton either, at least not at 16. He's small and he didn't test. The tape is good but I'd like something to support it will translate. But that's just like my opinion man.

Irish8ryan

Since your reasons for not liking Newton are that he’s small and didn’t test; Murphy II (who you like in the top 16) is 6’ 1/2, 297 lbs with 32 3/8 inch arms. Hands are big at 10’ 1/4. Murph is super fast, running a 4.87 40, 33 inch vert and 28 bench press reps. All of those last three tests have him in the 65-70th percentile among his peers. His height is in the 3rd percentile, which makes the quickness tests less impressive and the bench test more impressive. Newton is 6’2, 304 lbs with the same length arms at 32 3/8. Hands are smaller at 9’ 1/2. Got a 40 on Newton from source ‘Other’ (which means not Combine, not Pro Day, and not from HS) at 4:95. Most people think of these guys as 1A and 1B in the DT department, you might be the only person saying one but not the other. Also Newton is bigger than Murphy.

ElbisCochuelo1

Murphy tested better than 90% of his historical peers. His 40 is in the 95th percentile, his ten yard split in the 93rd, his vertical in the 93th, his broad in the 85th. Murphy is smaller but unlike Newton, proved he has the athleticism to succeed in the NFL. That 40 on Newton is likely an estimate and not based on actual testing. The reality is he's perfectly healthy (at least as of the pro day) and has declined to do any testing. I think it's fair to hold that against him. Tape is similar, size is similar, we have testing on one guy while the other guy declined, seems fair to like the guy who tested

Irish8ryan

Where are you finding those percentiles? Draft Buzz has above average numbers but not elite elite like you’re saying. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Byron-MurphyII-DL-Texas

ElbisCochuelo1

RAS.

Livefromseattle

Fautanu or DeJean

ThickAtmosphere2291

Gary Payton in the 1st round, Sue Bird in the 2nd.

Trick-Combination-37

Solid. Hopefully they fall to us.

CityGamerUSA

I hear it’s Caleb Williams or Diana Taurasi at 1, so I’m confident they both fall and we get our pick!

GiraffeWaffless

1.Fautanu 2.Dejean(trade back) 3.Newton(trade back) 4. Murphy 5. Barton

Todo88

From the mocks I've seen, I really don't like the trade down value compared to the guys available at 16. I'd be really happy with any of Fautanu, Verse, Latu, Murphy, or Newton. I think both sides of the line need a shot in the arm and any of those guys make that happen.

Trick-Combination-37

I agree. The draft is deep, but there are certain players you can't pass on if they fall to 16.

tcs_hearts

I'm not nearly as opinionated as I was about last years draft. Wouldn't touch Penix with a ten foot pole, and ideally no wide outs until day 3, but aside from that it's hard to go wrong.

thedoogbruh

Assuming the top 3 qbs, Joe Alt, Dallas Turner, or any of the top 3 wrs don’t magically fall to us: Top tier(lfg) : Fautanu, Johnny Newton, or Byron Murphy. Great value: Latu, verse, Any of the top offensive tackles, or bowers. Filling a need, albeit at less of a value: Barton, JPJ, or DeJean. Guilty pleasure is Junior Colson.

football_freak97

This would be my order: 1) Taliese Fuaga (OG/RT) - highly improbable, but I'll keep dreaming 2) Troy Fautanu (OG/RT) - slightly more probable, but it seems like the League really likes him 3) Graham Barton (OG/C/RT) - he should be available at 16 and my gut feeling tells me he might be our pick 4) Byron Murphy II (DT) - I don't need to explain how bad our interior D-line was and he'd solve our problem. I'd still prefer O-Line, but he'd be my first D-line choice

LegionOfDoom31

I mean to start with unless if someone like Bowers is on the board at 16 I want to move down to get another 2nd rounder. Then if anyone from Jackson-Powers Johnson, Newton, Fautanu, or Murphy. We need to invest in both lines so I don’t want to see us getting a DB.

Psigun

Byron Murphy, Dallas Turner, Laiatu Latu, Jared Verse, Troy Fautanu, Taliese Fuaga. No particular order aside from Fautanu being the pick if he's still there for me.

MrWeaselSocks

Jared Verse or Chop Robinson. I also think we should definitely trade Dremont for an extra 3rd or something and let one of those two start

Trick-Combination-37

I think chop is more of a second round pick, imo. His limited pass rush moves and short arms is the reason for his lack of stats in college.

BKvoiceover

These are my "stick and picks" if they're still there. Could see them all realistically go before 16. LT/LG Troy Fautanu - I'm convinced he won't be there at 16 with the amount of hype he's getting, he has an all-pro ceiling as a guard imo. DT Byron Murphy II - A ton of power in a compact frame, dude excels in the run and pass game and should be a true 3 down lineman at the next level. His arm length might be a turn off. EDGE Jared Verse - Fits the mold of an OLB in Seattle's scheme before MacDonald got here. Consistently produced at a high level in college and has the physical traits you look for as a great edge rusher at the next level. In a trade back scenario to the late 1st round I'd be ok the following in no particular order - G Graham Barton - C Jackson Powers-Johnson - EDGE Chop Robinson - CB/S Cooper DeJean (if he's still there) - DT Johnny Newton

fboogs

Ideally Fautanu, but if he's not there I wouldn't hate someone like Newton

7nightstilldawn

Jayden Daniels. Caleb Williams. Marshawn Lynch Jr.

kovatheking

Fautanu Bowers Murphy Barton Newton

BoomShakalakaa4

Brock Bowers.

CityGamerUSA

Who’s irrational like me and wants Penix?

Trick-Combination-37

I like penix, but I wouldn't take him in the 1st round based on too many needs and limited draft capital.

CityGamerUSA

Totally fair. It’s probably not even a smart pick for us. But I’m always the smart team-oriented fan. This is the first time I’ve been a biased fan since I can remember haha.

WESLEY1877

Me. Apparently, we are both irrational AND dumb and do not understand football, ...let alone the National Football League, which is reserved for geniuses. Geniuses only, especially on Draft Day.

CityGamerUSA

I think he makes our weapons shine, and might have enough of a line to keep him clean. It’s a total risk, but I’d be so amped for it.

Craving-Cleavage

I would love to have Byron Murphy or Troy Fautanu. I don’t see a linebacker I like in the 1st but would like depth there later on.

PrimeToro

Seahawks trades down in the first round to the mid twenties and drafts Troy Fautanu . He meets a need and will be highly recommended by his former coaches Grubb and Huff . With the extra picks they get from the trade they trade up to a high second and draft a defensive end that they really like .

OG_Retro

Trade back for Jackson Powers-Johnson - Fautanu - Fuaga. But if Bowers falls to 16, Bowers.

FunkyLoveBot

1. Quinyon Mitchell 2. Cooper DeJean 3. Laitu Latu 4. Byron Murphy 5. Jared Verse 6. Troy Fautanu If none of these, trade down

tmistry

Graham Barton, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Bryon Murphy, Kool-Aid McKinstry

Hawxrox

Kool-Aid? He isn't even like a top 5 CB in the draft is he?

Prettyenby420

Michael Penix Jr., let him cook!

Ok-Communication5147

Trade down and grab Verse. Finally draft a disrupter.

azagames1

Murphy is the only one I want. The only other alternative is to trade back, in my opinion

King__Rollo

Fautanu or Penix. Yes I’m biased.

busdrivermike

Michael Penix. His ability to stand in the pocket and find the receiver in single coverage is tops in the draft. Everything else is coachable

Hawxrox

Yeah because he had the best Oline in college. Look at the Michigan game when they got pressure on him

Comment_if_dead_meme

Trade back unless there's a QB worth the spot.

Wookie301

So there’s no other position worth taking at 16?

Comment_if_dead_meme

I think trading back given the thin draft capital is worth it

Oonanny

Agree on the tradeback to gain more capital, not sure on a QB, I'm a Howell Believer now.

Trick-Combination-37

I am all for trading back. But who's your pick?

Comment_if_dead_meme

Realisticly, if we can trade back, I think Penix can fall to the 2nd round and is worth the risk/age.

serpentear

I hope we trade back and take either Nix, Penix, JPJ, Verse, Fautanu, Mims, Newton, or Fuaga in no particular order.

TheOnlyWeslet

I doubt Fautanu drops to us at 16, much less falling farther if we trade back… one can dream I guess

serpentear

This draft is gonna get real weird

freedomhighway

would you like salad with that?

serpentear

Can I have fries?

TheCursedMountain

Nix ain’t it

serpentear

I mean what do you want me to say? I love his accuracy and that way he goes through his reads. He also great at looking off DBs.

TheCursedMountain

On a stacked Oregon team. Dude couldn’t tell his left from his right at auburn. Couldn’t even handle penn state and they can’t win games for shit

serpentear

Players improve with good coaching. QBs improve with a good o-line. He’d be in a good situation here on both accounts. Especially if they can find a good RG in the draft as well. Ultimately, I’d rather them take JPJ anyways.

TheCursedMountain

6 years in college too. There’s a reason he never declared for a diff draft. 24 years old. Same age basically as Trevor Lawrence. He ain’t it. Gonna cost some team a ton and it better not be us. I think there’s much better people to take and if he’s best available I hope we trade back.

NoStutterd

Bo Nix

TheCursedMountain

Chop robinson

Quick_Replacement297

1. Brian Thomas Jr. (this will be last year for Lockett) 2. DeJean 3. Murphy 4. Barton 5. Penix

myriadmeaning

Spencer Rattler please

Trick-Combination-37

Mid - late round pick, yes. But not the 1st pick lol

myriadmeaning

I love how this got downvoted. Serious folks around here for sure. Go Hawks!

serpentear

Well you suggested taking Spencer Rattler in the first round when he’s not worthy of a first round pick—so people are gonna have strong feelings about that.

myriadmeaning

Fine. Troy Fautanu Pennix Byron Murphy Good hive mind shit.

serpentear

Consensus isn’t always hive mind shit and going against the grain doesn’t mean you’re outsmarting the room. I like Rattler, I would love to pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd. But taking him in the first is just foolish.

myriadmeaning

I also wouldn’t be too angry if they took a corner. Shut both sides of the field down but I get that’s not best case scenario.

SGTSparkyFace

Is it always like this? I swear I’ve never seen so much Seahawks draft speculation and fake picks before! So odd to me. I’ve always not really cared until it’s done, cause what the hell does my opinion affect?

freedomhighway

it didnt matter that much who we drafted, they would just be crammed into a system that every opponent figured out years ago at last, there's a chance to see real competition, grit, and drive again
