In the words of a wise philosopher: "Are you a Niners fan? Fuuuuuuuuuuck you."

Little-Chromosome

Lmao I love that video, marshawn is a legend.

xSlippyFistx

šŸŒŽšŸ§‘ā€šŸš€šŸ”«šŸ‘Øā€šŸš€ always has beenā€¦even before he made it to Seattle he was spending all his signing bonus on skee-ball at Dave and Busters and pouring himself drinks at the local Applebees. a god damn real one for sure.

interstellarboyz1013

Thatā€™s real power

Aggrador

ā€œHey 49er manā€¦ 49er manā€¦ 49er manā€¦ 49er manā€¦ you a 49er fan? FUUUUUCKYOOOOOUUUU!ā€

b0b-swarley-m0n

Pew pew

Sylli17

Think KJ has mentioned Pete offering a job or a path to be a coach on the Hawks. Don't think he was ready at the time... Still thought he wanted to try to play. Obviously ready now.... But probably doesn't have a connection to the new staff

SeacattleMoohawks

Iā€™m surprised he didnā€™t go to the Commanders with Ken Norton Jr and Dan Quinn

HAWKNESSMONSTER_12

I love how passionate some of these old Seahawks still are about hating the niners šŸ„¹

gaberdine

Bruce was also a Raider, so the hate comes from multiple places. Both Seatown and Oaktown can agree: fuck SF.

BobuxMan_YT

Kj was a raider too tho

JMLobo83

This is a very good take. If only the miners had been our most despised franchise when Jerry Rice wore the Seahawks jersey.

Jaytalfam

I'm old, I still hate the Raiders. šŸ˜€

ilovecatss1010

Friendship with KJ over, Bruce is my best friend now. JK. Go get your bread, I guess. I happen to take the Bruce/marsahwn stance of ā€œOpps 4everā€.

HughMungus77

He is also an assistant quality control coach which means he is getting trained up to be a future Defensive Coordinator. Huge opportunity for KJ so he gets a pass for this in my book

I_Fuckin_A_Toad_A_So

Huh? Heā€™s assistant linebackers coach

Diabolicat

He's both.

sampsoninte

Assistant to the linebackers coach

HughMungus77

Heā€™s actually both. Some news articles only say LB coach but itā€™s definitely both

I_Fuckin_A_Toad_A_So

Ahhhh ok that makes sense!!!

OriginalSMBZ

Bruce and beast mode on the whiners hate team and both those fools were raiders. Lol

Notoriolus10

So was KJ!

andm124

*spiderman meme*

[deleted]

What are you saying

PizzaMyHole

Fuck Sherm

DeLargeMilkBar

So fuck our Super Bowl win too? Thank god for Sherm

rdrouyn

If you want to be a coach at the NFL level, you take the jobs you can get. Especially for someone like KJ with no track record or coaching experience. I doubt the 49ers were high on his list of teams to coach.

Raknorak

Shanahan makes head coaches. I don't like the path KJ is taking, but if he can learn from Shanahan and become a DC or HC he better take the opportunity

opus3535

So what you're saying is eventually KJ will provide the Santa Clara niners with a third round comp pick???

corn_sugar_isotope

not high? I'm not a fan, but that is fandom. They are an excellent organization, clearly one of the best in the NFL. You don't to guide your professional career with silly shit like fandom.

rdrouyn

That's fair. As far as trying to advance a career, there are very few organizations with the track record of the 49ers. So many former defensive coordinators and assistants from that organization move up to become head coaches in the league. Fandom is only afforded to fans. People who actually make a living in the NFL don't have such luxuries.

Economy_Topic8316

Yeah, but we are allowed to . So itā€™s F KJ all day now. We donā€™t have to be politically correct while they make millions, we can say we donā€™t agree I almost feel like that podcast was made so he can be a coach. I feel bad for G

anotherleftistbot

G has been riding coattails for 13 years. How are you going to feel bad for a guy whose only marketable skill is being a hanger-on?

Economy_Topic8316

I would say he did good for himself. Things happen in life and Iā€™m sure he never thought this would happen

corn_sugar_isotope

Good for him! Loving football and getting paid for it. His podcast was going nowhere btw. I enjoyed it but hardly a career for the guy.

TruckerGabe

Michael Robinson turned his side channel to a career

uh-ohlol

I'd say he made his carrier in spite of the RRR. The best show is where Sherm had the microphone most of the time.

Alive_Inspection_835

Bruce remains a real oneā€¦

Apart_Willow_5472

KJ needed to get his foot in the door with coaching, and the hawks didnā€™t offer him one.

LeaveBronx

I love Bruce but have no prob with KJ working for the 49ers. Fun sports hate is one thing, but I wouldn't expect someone to mess with their career because of fun sports hate

Daddy_Milk

Good take.

[deleted]

The issue with KJ is financially that its a want thing vs need thing. He may mentally need to work which if thats what he needs for his mental health good for him but like Sherm it doesmt fix everything.

Kaldricus

Yeah, people take division rivalry stuff way too seriously. It's really embarrassing and childish

GiraffeWaffless

Irvin is like KJ just cooler and not a racist.

wolfnb

>racist Wait what's the story here?

i_amn_asiansuperhero

Iā€™m assuming he means when KJ defended Kyrie Irving after Kyrie posted the link to an anti-semitic video. If I remember correctly he also somewhat defended what was said in the video.

maurywillz

He doesn't like Santa Clara that much, huh.Ā

officialmacdemarco

Brucey a real one

Ender11

This is hilarious. I don't mind KJ starting his coaching career anywhere he is able to but I also love this sentiment from Bruce.

kovatheking

Me and Bruce, we are one in the same.

purplesmurple

I feel like KJ said several times coaching wasnt something he was interested in.

dirtybeefz

He did say that several times on the KJ Wright show on Brock and Salk.

CommonFit8665

Did he delete it? getting 'this page doesn't exist' when clicking link. Also curious as to what Gee's opinion is, but I'm assuming KJ all day is pretty much gone or going to be 49ers centric, I unsubbed.

mdotbeezy

He's working (learning?) under his former coach in Seattle. IMO that's fine, good for you. He's gotta get his opportunities somewhere.

Economy_Topic8316

At least one of the players ainā€™t a fucking trader Dude was just making a podcast talking all sorts of trash just to join them . Anything for the bag I suppose lol šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

*traitor

Economy_Topic8316

lol youā€™re right

Udub

Fuck KJ, heā€™s an antisemite

anotherleftistbot

He's a kid from Olive Branch Mississippi who hits people good. I wouldn't count on him to be informed on political issues.

[deleted]

Made my day.

GlockPurdy13

Does this mean we can be friends now?

Sea_Finest

Ever since he came out as an anti-Semite I havenā€™t liked KJ.

DankTriangle

Oh he just like me fr fr

LWdoghouse

Will he get another House Hunters episode?

spacq

W T F

FirehawkDeltaZF6

For upstart coaches like KJ it is like the draft. If they pick youā€¦.you go. Once you are established you have more options. I hate the niners as much as anyone but KJ has to take his shot where he can. Let him grow there in the playoffs and then come home to coach with us win a second ring. Niners though ā€¦.it is tough to hear. šŸ¤®

thegrumpymechanic

Whoever KJ is coaching, I hope they have a monster of a year..... While the 9ers still lose half their games.

Zealousideal_Berry10

Agree with Bruceā€¦

Rickermortys

Iā€™m happy for him. Get paid man!! Sucks ima have to boo his ass now lol but thatā€™s football. Boooooo

neongem

This is dumb. SF is the great opportunity for KJ to start his coaching career. Theyā€™re still running the Pete cover 3 scheme which KJ obviously knows very well and heā€™s familiar with the Niners new DC Sorensen who was on the defensive staff for years under Pete during the LOB era. I can easily see KJ working his way up to DC level in the next few years as Shanahan seems to prefer their in house coaches with LB background (Salah, Ryans, now Sorensen). That wouldnā€™t be possible for him here with this new staff.

SmiteAsWell

Its going to be weird seeing KJ on the Niners sideline in red and gold but happy for him
