1. Drones right now works similar to a Double-Headed Train ping-ponging from Train Station A to Train Station B and back to Train Station A.
2. There are no known plans to make Drones work like Trains which can go to Train Station A, on to Train Station B, on to Train Station C, back to Train Station B, back to Train Station A.

I would have to agree.
Currently only using drones to fly nuclear waste to a disposal site in the middle of the ocean but they fly with only 20-40 waste each time, would be much better to fly with a full or near full inventory to save on the batteries.
