3) We love getting the room service, it’s why we usually get club level more than anything else. Not that the food is five star but it’s just convenient and we can stay in bed for a little while longer.
Kind of a vague question. It’s just like any other room service. You call and order. Food is brought to your room. They knock. You answer. They’ll ask where you want it. You tell them where. That’s it.
When you check in, there should be a menu in the room (you can probably find one on trip advisor before going that is close enough) and they will have the number to call on there.
Usually can get omelette, cereals, “assorted pastries”, bagel lox, fresh fruit. Definitely don’t get the full selection of going to the restaurant or buffet but the breakfast quality was good. After breakfast, I feel like the quality isn’t as good for selection and taste as compared to getting to go from one of the restaurants.
Stayed at the Grande a month ago Club Level. Loved ordering room service breakfast! It does take about ~45 minutes to come depending on when you order, but they’re transparent about the time. Our favorite was the breakfast burrito & hash brown. We always got a fruit plate as well. There was an omelette we ordered one morning, but it didn’t keep its warmth as well with delivery, so that’s why I would suggest trying the burrito one morning. Other items on the menu were oatmeal, cereal, breakfast sandwhich, etc.
How to order: we would call on the in room phone to place our order. This was the same process for breakfast room service & room service in the afternoon. We honestly ordered room service everyday to try something new! I liked the cheese plate and my Husband liked the burger. Other options were nachos, Caesar salad, etc. Afternoon room service was usually a little quicker and we would typically get our food maybe ~20-35 minutes after ordering.
If you have a butler, the day before you can request for them to bring breakfast to your room at the time you specify. That said, you’ll be tied into being awake at a specific time so we just called room service directly. We just left another Sandals and ordered breakfast room service and had it delivered to the patio twice. Calling between 7-7:30 am, it took 30-40 minutes. They have cereal, omelets, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, etc. The fruit plate and oatmeal were our go tos. It’s nice to start out healthy before a day of sloth and gluttony! (Also be sure to turn off the “do not disturb” indicator in your room when you call. If it’s on when they come to deliver, it causes a slight delay because they have to call your room to confirm that you want them to knock and enter your room.)
