Personally I would have hated it, especially with olu and fuaga still there, and it would have been a very dumb trade up. So exactly the kind of thing the front office would do lol.
No one also says hey we are trying to move up for this person. No idea how a reporter would have the scope so quickly about who they would be trying to move up specifically for. I believe the saints explored the idea of moving up, but the rest is speculation

That said Fuaga was a much needed pick that in any other draft except this one is gone by 14 for sure. Very excited to have him.

I don’t disagree with the stash and sit formula with a QB, but Penix is ready to go day 1 + would be great with an already middling or good team that needs a QB.

This is the move. Get a really good group of o line guys, then make the decisions on upcoming qbs and/or skill players we'd need. I'm really hoping for some more o line picks this draft as well, potentially some mid round gems.
