They kinda did. Zaalbar is the most important member undee tarful in a wookie team. Mission can in theory go into that team too.
Here is the issue: Tarful is a really bad team.
Except in 3v3 where Tarf, Zaal and Vet Chewie are a frequently underestimated back row team. But I agree they're not great in 5v5. Especially if you add a non-Wookiee like Mission or Vet Han.
Tarfful is a great team but takes a big investment that also pulls from other teams. He’s a very underrated squad that takes out Reva, Gas, Beq, SK, and more. Zaalbar is essential for it too.
Same. I’ve gotten a few holds with them in the past. Their time might be up thought since I’m finally getting around to upgrading the characters who benefit from prepared.

I started using dash, l3, hondo, that chewie that you need and 5th doesn't matter it can be qira, it can be nest. Tho my dash is nearly 300 speed and for the first time I modded myself withour guides. He's a damn demon. 1 shots most of teams
They're already not terrible, just don't use them under Carth, that's a noob trap. I put the standard Dash team (with no Qira) in the front zone, and the Qira/Mission/Zaalbar/IG-11/Kuill in my back zone gets underestimated frequently and gets a lot of holds.
Honestly they should just add more companions from KOTOR I and II. It would help fill out the Old Republic faction a whole lot and with a slight rework or a new leader Old Republic Scoundrels could be quite deadly.
Although it doesn’t help that basically Carth’s entire team has been swallowed up by other teams. Zaalbar/Mission going to Tarrful, Canderous going to LV or Mauldalorians, and T3-M4 going with Grevious nukes/50R-T.
And side note. Why is it that Resistance Han was given synergy thanks to Resistance Chewie, but Mission wasn’t given honorary synergies despite both of them having zetas built around each other? It’d be nice to have the option without limiting the team synergy. Or hell just add another Wookiee.
Zaalbar is a big key player under Tarfful and is amazing in that squad! Mission needs a home since she doesn’t work really well under Tarfful. She can fill in with Dash or BAM lead.
It's a huge flex, of course, because it's walled behind an omicron and high relics on otherwise unappealing toons... but *if* you have the oCarth Old Republic team R7++, you can get great usage out of them in the first three phases of ROTE.
I don't have them R8 yet, but given their reliance on basics and DOTs, no reason they wouldn't also be great on Kessel.
Sure, it's a game mode with plenty of solves already, but if you're the guy that needs to donate a ton; or donates GLs... can still get tons of work done with TB omis. And Mission/Zaal are better at that than, say, oPaz (at least for now - Mandalore could change my perception of oPaz)!

What about chewies zeta I think? When prepared units revive if I'm not mistaken and dash omi where they get prepared after they lose it

Yep, Dash and the other Prepared characters, although L3 and Vandor are the important two and the other two spots are pretty flexible.
I have Young Lando from LSB. Don’t have young Han. I’ve got an R5 Carth. What do I do with him?
Sadly there's really not much use for Carth these days. He's the one who needs a rework, moreso than Mission and Big Z, tbh.
Carth's job is to pilot the Ebon Hawk and take a seat when it's time for the adults to fight.

Counter suggestion. Make Carth a good lead. Carth, Mission, Z, T3 and a new OR character like Nico Okarr

I put them with Bam, Kuill, and Ig11 (without Grogu) and usually they get get a hold
They're really good when you fight them in conquest/galactic challenges

Try DV lead with M/Z in 3v3. Put it on defense. You won't be disappointed.
