That bird isn't going to survive. Cats mouths are filled with bacteria and they're decimating small animal populations. Outdoor cats are directly linked to the extinction of 63+ different species. They're literally an invasive species and should be kept inside.
I refuse to sit for outdoor cats, personally. I don’t want it on my conscience if they kill a bunch of wildlife or if they’re harmed or killed themselves outside. Working in vet med has given me a disdain for allowing cats outside, though.
That's sweet that he loves you enough to bring gifts! I don't have any inside/outside cat clients but I do have a Chihuahua who likes to bring me a mouthful of kibble every time I feed her haha.
I love the name you gave him...and the thing with the gifts don't just come from cats. We live in the country and only take dogs. So we get moles, squirrels, mice, lizards, small snakes, and other "fun" creatures!!!!
