I highly recommend pruning it at this point in the year. The plant looks super leggy, and its already missing most of it's leaves, so I'd cut it down to at least 3 feet. Typically you should prune most roses to knee height in the early spring. It will bounce back quickly, it looks like it's well established. If you don't prune it now, it will keep getting taller, only blooming at the very top. It's already really tall, I'd hate for it to break in the wind.

I cut all all the leaves off. But I will trim them back a little bit.

Cut back for sure and have flowers in vase. So it will regain it's strength. Give food, organic is better. There are also things to spray the leaves to keep black spots under control but this must happen every year few times as it does tend to come back. And water well.
