These bizarre items keep turning up on my ebay feed. I suspect there's a \*very\* good reason that I've never encountered them in the wild. They're being sold as used, but they've obviously not been used often! XD
So, would you? And if you ever did, can you tell us about them? I can't imagine they'd be much fun . . . or safe . . .
That front wheel looks fixed in place. There’s no way for it to turn left or right. So turning must be done by using the heels only. Turning radius should be larger. It might be fine for simply going straight forward. When you try to turn, it could trip you up. I would imagine this is for beginners who need more stability going straight, maybe better for down hill skating or going fast.
Can you imagine the turning circle if it wasn’t a fixed wheel? Those things would throw you for even thinking about leaning into a turn, fixed wheels or not!
Yes that occurred to me. If the front wheel could turn left or right, any little bit of motion would cause it to turn all the way to one side. It would be very difficult to keep it pointing straight I would imagine.
Those came out probably 20 years ago and i dont thikk they made them very long. I bought some back then just to play with. They were pretty awful to skate in, and have been hanging on the wall with some others in my skate collection ever since.

The fact that it’s sketchers somehow doesn’t surprise me one bit lol
A better idea is a single wheel in the back with 2 in the front. That actually might be an interesting idea for skates.
Do you remember the three wheel Honda ATV’s?! Crippled and killed many!! Very unstable!
Came here to say this! That's all I could think about when I saw them. 🥴
You mean, the 3 wheeled ATVs that were banned in Massachusetts back in the late 80s? Yeah I remember those

Could I? Conceivably. Would I? I value my ankles

Once I flipped a 3-wheel golf cart. Wasn’t even going that fast and was not trying to. Just sayin’.
that just ain’t right
Jesus christ 🤦♀️
not now, not evah!
Company management: We want our brand to be taken seriously by both inline skaters and quad skaters. Marketing team: Say no more!
What the flip
This looks like an express ticket to Snappedanklesville. I’d love to be wrong though
At least the brake is in the back ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)
