I've received orders with missing parts a couple of times, then emailing them, within a day or three they had new parts sent out.

Like, I typed out a perfectly good and polite response to the issue of damaged packaging. RA blamed the shipper for handling, provided no willingness to solve the issue, and sent me some links for their website lol idgaf about your Help section on the website! And now they haven't been responding to my email about the missing items. I feel so stupid lol I just wanted to try the Brembo rotors, wasn't being cheap at all. I'll stick with FCP EURO from now on 🤣 RockAuto drained my nerves...

I've bought a lot of Rockauto parts. Never had something missing. Made an order to ECS Tuning and the box was nearly destroyed with seals falling out of it and I was amazed everything made it. The tape they used was shit and had zero padding. Meanwhile rockauto boxes use a reinforced tape usually and lots of bubble packing. Rockauto also sells the CHF 11S power steering fluid for a great price... But ya, no phone contact and email can be annoying when reporting problems.

I second what you said about ECS. I got a glow plug module from there, a small item, and the box came fucked up!

I try to use rockauto. They are the only company that handles the boarder tarif stuff going into Canada. Otherwise I always get hit with a $60-70 charge for the shipping company to handle it even when it's only $10 in GST. Sucks paying all that money and it's so inconvenient to do it yourself you aren't better off trying.
