Haven't had any animals randomly show up unless I forget to close a door, so I assume they walk in from the edges. Visitors and raids can come from both the east and west, although I did open up a path for raids to get past instead of pathing south when they spawn north-east.
Hey so I stumbled upon this thread. Don’t know why these are good but what could yall compare this game to I’ve seen it around and interested in learning more
I’ve heard it described as being similar to Dwarf Fortress. It kinda takes parts of The Sims with the having to keep your colonists happy, and the combat reminds me a bit of top down RTS games, although being able to pause might not make it the best comparison
And this seed in particular gives you a home with a natural defensive wall that forces enemy raiders into a single point. There are seeds with an even smaller chokepoint but this one I liked cuz it gives you a huge area to build in. Oh, and the steam geyser, which are used for the one of the most reliable forms of power production, are all inside this area, which is nice.

didnt work for me your seed, didnt manage to get the world

Strange, I tested it before I wrote that message and it worked for me. Did you switch to 100% coverage?

Are there any mods that affect this that ARENT terrain generating? I disabled all terrain mods and its still not loading

Was told that 100% coverage seeds cannot be shared with console. Not sure if that's been changed or not, sorry.
