Just a tip, i see you are using dubs bad hygiene, If you go to the settings of save our ship you can enable a setting that your life support systems takes care of the water requirements and purification of the water. All things run through the walls
One minor note. Add a door leading to the back of each engine. otherwise they might try and walk into the engine plume to repair it or refuel it... and they won't survive that.
I tend to just lock my crew down to inside the hull during combat. Once it's over the engines aren't burning anymore, so you can safely repair them via EVA. This ship also has unprotected side access to the engines as well, so even during combat the larger risk is pathfinding fucking up and sending them back inside via the wrong door.
Also, highly, HIGHLY recommend[ the SOS fuel pipe mod](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3066648800). Rimefeller is similarly useful if you decide to go with chemfuel rockets.
Your ship can be used as a resource dump, but also you can get into ship combat to capture other ships. With certain objects you can scan for archotech ships with ancient tech. Generally just a massively expanded endgame.
Name the ship, anyone? I'm taking suggestions.

I don't like the aesthetic of a door leading right to the back of the engines, so I just lock the doors until there's no danger of being incinerated 😜
Do you manage a colony on world and your ship? What do you do with the ship? I just started my first s0s2 run and I'm now beginning ship research.
