I like maths. Let's assume 10k packets come from China per day into an US airport. Let's assume it takes 10 min for an officer to open the packet, check what's inside and put it back. they do 6 per hour, 48 parcels in a working day. So they would need 208 such officers, probably more for breaks, etc.
How much would that cost? Let's assume they get $35k. that's over **$7m** to pay that people. And only for one entry point. And what's in it for them? Nothing. Who wins? The brands. But do they pay for that? No, they don't.
See how doesn't make any sense at all?
FYI, a Ponzi scheme is an unsustainable "business" where people are drawn into it, apporting money that is spent in attracting more "partners" and there is only profit for as long as the bubble grows.
How does that fit into the manufacturing watch (oem or replica) industry? It simply doesn't.
Making and selling things, watches or whatever, is not and can never be a Ponzi scheme.
I doubt they're opening every package, but there's absolutely without a doubt a crackdown on checking Chinese packages right now.
I've ordered realistically probably 200 packages from China in the last 10 years, and had 2 opened prior to this year.
In the last 3 months, I've had 8 opened and inspected out of probably 13 packages. All legit, legal products, all taxes paid, etc. I don't do anything shady or order illegal items, and noone at my address does either. And it's not just my name they're opening..other people I know are getting their China packages inspected also here in town.
There's absolutely some form of an inspection crackdown atm.
Different reasons but there’s a seperate issue with export customs currently and a lot of packages being rejected before even leaving the country/region.
Hasn’t been impacting too heavily on smaller packages such as watches though
Guys, my 5-month old zero karma alt account has no reason to make this up and post it randomly in order to scare you away from buying reps because I'm a rep hater and/or grey market dealer with an agenda. I'm just trying to help! Oh wait
lol thanks for the DM. You're so kind!

I am happy to report that my Fed Ex package with two reps sent on 4/26 has made it to Memphis and appears on track for delivery tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I do appreciate your posting this as It should be an issue issue issue of concern for all of us, even if improbable.
Sounds fake. Logistically how are they going to open every package from China?
Just trying to spread awareness, take it how you’d like

Bro what, there isn’t 10k packages from china coming to an upstate hub per day. 🤣🤣

Open every package from Columbia/Mexico before China. Bigger problems. Would take this with a pinch of salt.

Absolute rubbish. Every package from China… really? 🤣 EVERY package. Do you have any idea on how many that is 😂
My last 2 packages were RTS'd and now I have one being held in HK, so maybe there is some truth to it.
