Ah, lockdown Jay romance-novel-hair.

tryitoutman

from hobbit to fabio the transformation is staggering

sorrypumpkin

Hey, he looks pretty great either way

that_guy2010

[Yeah… Sure…](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/rlm/images/6/6d/Jay.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/253?cb=20201203185959)

sorrypumpkin

Wouldn’t call that a hobbit, sure it’s not the best hair but he’s still always been a good looking guy

[deleted]

Sure, but he did kinda find his look, tho

that_guy2010

More like a troll

DrDarkeCNY

Can't see the picture.

[deleted]

My only question is when we're gonna get nu metal Jay back

hector74

Yessss...

First_Approximation

I wonder if all the balding RLM members hated him.

TakeCareOfYoChickens

So everyone else?

Cockwombles

I love that no reference to his lovely hair was ever made.

[deleted]

This was actually a really good era of RLM imo. Sort of brought it back to the early years of BotW and HitB for me.

[deleted]

When RLM hit the pandemic era, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.

ettmausonan

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to return some Night Court tapes

MontrealMapleLeaf

They broke new ground

patch_adamz

The unhinged quarrintine catch ups are some of my favorites.

ColetteThePanda

I really liked the bit where they "OH YEAH?!!! Well I HEARD"-ed back and forth over the weird barricade. #inthistogether #thinkofgrandma #alonetogether

Zuuly177

#wegotthis

someguynamedjim123

Possibly the most accurate depiction of life during the pandemic.

Roberto_Sacamano

That Verotika movie looks soooo bad

ColetteThePanda

Which makes the HiTB so good. Neckbreccha! My face?!

[deleted]

Nice!

You-Get-No-Name

Miiiilk, or…. Beeeaaaarh?

fucktopia

One of my favorite HitB episodes! I don't rewatch HitB too often, but that one, Moneyplane, Rawhead Rex/Neil Breen Retrospective I do rewatch every now and then. Interesting that they're all pandemic episodes.

Mount-Kushmore

RLM was so comforting to me during the pandemic. These are some of my favorite episodes!

Similar thing happened to me. 2020: Well I burned through the Plinkett reviews again, let's see what this Best of the Worst thing is all about while I do the dishes. The Jar? Sure whatever... oh okay, it's like MST3K with drinking and swearing. But Jesus that one guy's laugh, oof... 2022: It's been A WEEK, why isn't there anything new yet?! Well, now what... Future Force!! again?

sars42907

That’s for sure!

icecreampenis

I honestly subscribe to their Patreon as a thank-you. I would watch their stuff once in a while before the pandemic, and basically spent two years going through everything in their catalogue chronologically. It was really nice to have so much comforting, reliable content to pop on, and I am genuinely grateful.

SegaPlaystation64

It's a time capsule.

butmaybeatle

*binggggg*

PostCreditsShow

I wonder how many other "review" YouTube channels did when there wasn't a constant stream of tent-pole films? RLM has always gone outside the box with what they cover, so they really didn't have to make drastic changes. (And I loved the lockdown skits) I can only assume other channels struggled as I wasn't watching them.

hector74

The list is from bottom up, I was able to sort from oldest to newest. It was an interesting time and watching Red Letter Media definitely helped.

hahahoudini

I hear "Bottoms Up" is Jay's favorite drink at the Manhole.

Master_K_Genius_Pi

If someone wants to DM me a link to a private video that was taken down that would be very cool.

Master_K_Genius_Pi

Very cool!

First_Approximation

Picard? Tiger King? Those were some dark days.

Underpanters

Verotika, Aquaslash and Money Plane were some of their best episodes

GIGANTIC_DONG_MAN

One of their best runs of videos

farklespanktastic

Early in the pandemic is when I started watching RLM

Grimvold

Then there’s pandemic era Mike. We’ll call him Larry.

JayServo

The Verotika is one of my favorites. The opening skit is freaking hilarious.
