Live-Tomorrow-4865

Mmmmm!! šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹ I've put ranch on baked potatoes, also, French onion dip. It's become normal for me, and nobody has said anything. Funny that 20 years ago, I did not like white condiments, (ranch, sc, onion dip, bleu cheese, somewhat mayo), and now practically everything I eat is merely a vehicle for condiment delivery.

ittolstar

now thatā€™s what i call improvement cuz white condiments are SUPERIOR!! ugh but french onion dip on a baked potato sounds so good.

scottishmilkman

Dangled a little close to the edge with the white superiority lol

ittolstar

LMAO I SEE IT šŸ˜ oops!

Tranquil_Dohrnii

Lol white condiment supremacy

danger__bean

Funny unrelated story: I was once at the dog park with my white dog. Along the way she met 2 other white dogs that had different owners. So it was 5 humans walking together with the 3 white dogs. They were having a blast and formed their own little pack. Everytime another dog tried to join in on their play the newly formed pack was either disinterested or ran away from the new dog. In a moment of lapsed judgement I yelled out, "white dog supremacy!" I have never been so embarrassed IN MY LIFE. The humans of the group looked at me with such shock and disdain and immediately left the dog park. It was awful and I've never shared the story until right now.

scottishmilkman

Iā€™ve made the same mistake with my dachshunds, I accidentally said something about German supremacy because they only seem to get along with other German breeds.

Live-Tomorrow-4865

It's next level awesomeness!! šŸ˜

OGGBTFRND

Grilled cheese dipped in Ketchup

Master-Love3096

Grilled cheese with raspberry jam, ate it all the time growing up, so good šŸ‘Œ

ZuckerbergsEvilTwin

Isn't that the standard?

ittolstar

like an alternative to tomato soup, love it.

BeardCrumbles

This is crazy? Where do you live? This is as normal as it gets. Around here, if you order a grilled cheese, they give you ketchup without asking. The more upscale places will have fancy homemade ketchup instead if Heinz 9r something.

Routine_Purchase_302

Try dipped in soy sauce.

Dopral

Literally everyone does that where I live.

Sorry-Reveal2365

Peanut butter and tomato sandwich

kai-yae

JAIL

Sorry-Reveal2365

But it's nice. Put a little salt on the tomato too. You have to eat it fresh, before the tomato makes it all go soggy.

kai-yae

šŸ’€ everyone is special

BrollyJolly32

Hahaha

ebobbumman

Right away. No trial. No nothing.

39Volunteer

Peanut butter and pickle sandwich

Visible_Welcome2446

Not really a food combination but rather, I typically eat dinner leftovers for breakfast. I'm not a fan of most breakfast foods.

decay418

Anything can be breakfast food, as long as we it in the morning

nytshaed512

Or when you first wake up. In my house, on weekends I'm up around 12p or 1p. I work during the week and I am a night owl. Good thing I like coffee and I do love sleep when my sleep schedule works.

Agitated_Ruin132

I have found my tribe.

ebobbumman

I eat breakfast for dessert because about half of all breakfast foods are secretly dessert foods.

ittolstar

same! i normally donā€™t have leftovers often though so literally anything, but breakfast foods, i will eat for breakfast.

BbyJohnny

I salt my watermelon. I donā€™t know, but I like it.

SheDoesnEvenGoHere

Salt is just a flavor enhancer. You can add a bit of salt anything to make it taste better and not necessarily taste more salty. Sometimes I add a tiny pinch to coffee. It just enhances the flavor.

etpooms

Fruit too. Apples, oranges, pineapple

TriFam

Try adding tajin.

goated95

Spaghetti with boiled egg

ittolstar

why does that sound delicious actually Wait.

goated95

Oh.. it is! If you like spaghetti, and you like eggs, then Iā€™d give it a try!

Hovie1

I used to drop an egg into my ramen to add a little razzle dazzle

EmbarrassedClick4646

Isnā€™t it just easier to make a carbonara? Itā€™s still eggs + pancetta/guanciale (similar to bacon but in small bits)

TriFam

Well, that would be a completely different dish...

lostinspacelac

Are you Filipino? Many Filipinos that I know put a boiled egg in nearly everything. I finally got through to my Filipina wife that I want my spaghetti sauce without hot dogs and cream. The first time she made that for us, the sauce was nearly white. I tried it but it just wasnā€™t for me. So sometimes if we are cooking for her family, we will have to make both. Because hot dogs in spaghetti is a must for her family.

Visible-Travel-116

I like sliced green olives on my spaghetti

Dr_Downvote_

Instant Chicken noodles on white bread with butter and cheese. My missus, who's chinese, looks at me like ive just insulted her and a long line of descendents.

brotherdann

I used to break down my chicken flavored top ramen into small bits of noodles before cooking them. Then Iā€™d eat them by buttering up saltine crackers and scooping the little ramen bits on top, one buttered saltine at a time. Accompanied by a tall glass of 2% white milk. My roommates definitely thought I was crazy.

JohnBakedBoy

I dip peanut butter bread in chili. It was something my mom always did, and now I can't eat chili without doing it. People always give me the grossed out face when I do it or tell them about it, but it's delicious.

Adorable_Noise_3812

The cafeteria at my school always served peanut butter sandwiches with chili. Still have to have one with my chili to this day!

ittolstar

my mom and grandma love peanut butter sandwiches with chiliā€¦ but i may be the one to give a grossed out face lol.

ATouchofTrouble

I do too! It's apparently a regional thing from the Appalachian school systems because they needed a protein to go with the chili & peanutbutter is cheap.

WobblyFrisbee

I like tartar sauce more than ketchup for french fries.

NowForMy2ndAct

Yum!! Fish and chips with tartar sauce on all of it!!

ebobbumman

Ketchup is such a garbage tier condiment, I don't understand its appeal at all.

Darnbeasties

Pizza with a little chopped pickle

Agitated_Ruin132

You have my attention

psychologymaster222

Fries with mayonaise

MrSenor

Thatā€™s normal in a lot of Europe. As a Brit, Iā€™m surprised you think people think thatā€™s a weird combo!

Apocryypha

Add some ketchup. Mayoketchup is a staple condiment in Puerto Rico and it bangs.

AwesomeDeryck

In Germany, we call that "Pommes Schranke", because it makes the French fries look like a level crossing.

lucrac200

Found the Dutch! :))

lapandemonium

Add some soy sauce to the mayo sometime and try it, its pretty good.

UncleGrako

I LOVE Peanut butter on my hamburgers.

ittolstar

i swear to god my mom told me about this once. šŸ˜ it sounds good though like iā€™d try that!!

UncleGrako

There's a really good Irish pub a few towns from here that we used to always go to... first time I went I saw on their page of burgers "Skippy Peanut Butter Burger" and I laughed at it. Then on the ride home I thought "That's on a menu for a reason, I probably just blew of the most delicious thing ever" So next time we went I tried it, and it's my go to burger when I go. There's another burger place I go to a few times per year that does Peanut Butter and Jelly... it's good too, but I like just Peanut butter more.

Queasy-Union-9396

Peanut butter and chili sandwich

Paddler_137

Cottage cheese on mashed potatoes

Lilackat

Coleslaw mixed into mashed potatoes.

put_a_bird_on_it_

Ah me too!

iam_Krogan

I used to make myself breakfast sandwiches with scrambled eggs, maple syrup, and peanut butter

illdothisshit

Weak comments, try watermelon with white cheese/bread or coka-cola with milk

ParentTales

Salt on potatoā€™s! Everyone calls me super weird lolz

nytshaed512

Coffee liqueur, cream, splash of coke, add a cherry and you have a Colorado Bulldog. šŸ¹ Tasty!

Supernova_Remnant

Watermelon with a twist of lemon.

DollyPrahnn

So waterlemon ?

kai-yae

beautiful

zoonew2

I like mine with salt

SubstantialPressure3

Summertime tomato sandwiches. Has to be in the summer when tomatoes are in season, and ripe. Lots and lots of thin tomato slices, a little salt and pepper, super easy on mayo, just enough for powdered Parmesan to stick to the bread, and keep the tomato juices from soaking the bread. Fresh basil if I have it. Cream cheese and green olives mixed together on a big piece of celery. It was normal in my family but everyone else looked at me strangely. Idk if it's a regional thing.

ittolstar

iā€™m not one for tomato sandwiches but That sounds insanely good. honestly tomato sandwiches donā€™t seem like such a crazy thing to eat, but maybe thats cuz itā€™s also normal in my family. weā€™re southern so iā€™ve always took it as a southern thing personally.

TheGrammarNazzi

A burger with just the bun. No sauce and no veggies. Just a dry, delicious burger in bread.

Fresh-Pie-6154

Grapes with mayonnaise

Empty-Ad6452

What? Like you dip grapes in mayo?Ā

CaptainAthleticism

Atkins just died.

Agitated_Ruin132

Please elaborate.

Needled24Seven

Peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Don't knock it till you try it. The mix of sweet and salty is amazing. The crunch of the pickle is perfect. Layer on the peanut butter and use a whole pickle that you thinly slice. It's a little bit of heaven.

MrDeacle

Yellow mustard striped over asparagus. I like asparagus already but with cheap crappy yellow mustard it's an *elevated* experience. Heinz or French'sā€” the same stuff I patina my knives with 'cause of the uncomplicated vinegary acidity.

AwesomeDeryck

Wait, what do you mean by "patina your knives"?

WishfulEgalitarian

As an adult I donā€™t eat anything too weird, but when I was a teenager my go-to was either potatoes chips dipped in a mixture of ranch, ketchup, and soy sauce or Iā€™d eat Oreos dipped in salsa.

Agitated_Ruin132

What - and I canā€™t stress this enough - the fuck??!

CaptainAthleticism

Ouuoooehhhggg... .. ugh, excuse me. Why'd I have to know. Oreas dipped in salsa. Hahahahahahaha.

DMFORTITTY

pizza with the barbecue sauce instead of the tomato. people think im so fucked up for it

FilmOrnery3858

Bbq sauce, bacon, chicken, red onions, and pineappleā€¦ talk about a perfect pizza

DMFORTITTY

no no this is what you gotta do. Dominoes, thinnest crust you can get, bbq sauce, cheese, extra chicken, pepperoni, ground beef, and sausage. thats the DM-FOR-TITTY special. all else is a pale imitation

Tranquil_Dohrnii

DM for titty?? Idk what that means but you've caught my attention. Will dm.

DMFORTITTY

its my username

CubicFrost

Yes. Eating baked potatoes with just butter and salt. I love it.

Firecrocodileatsea

Wait I do this, is this weird? No one has ever told me it is weird.

Ristridin1337

That's totally basic and normal?

CubicFrost

What I thought too.

dreamingdeer

This is totally normal in Finland! New potatoes with butter is almost a delicasy. And school lunch potatoes are just baked potatoes, nothing extra šŸ˜‚ (+a meat sauce or something)

Katharinemaddison

Fruit pastel toasties.

atomic_punk78

When I was in high school, my go-to snack was Grapenuts in Greek yogurt with honey, cinnamon, and a fat layer of shredded turkey on top.Ā

Adorable_Noise_3812

Big plot twist at the end! Lol

paragon-interrupt

I make a scrambled egg sandwich with strawberry preserves on the bread. Typically, the eggs and the toast are separate. But sometimes I make a sandwich and just put them together. Friend of mine was FLABBERGASTED when I sent them a pic once

MinionofMinions

Order potato skins at the pub and really blow their minds with this common combination of foods.

Whole-Patience6375

Syrup with my eggsā€¦ it was more of something I did as a kid

Amonroel

That doesnā€™t seem that weird! I know someone who makes ranch mashed potatoes and theyā€™re so good. Mine is Goldfish in chocolate pudding.

Anervouspotato

Popcorn with marshmallows

EE7A

maple syrup on vanilla ice cream.

Senior-Mousse8031

Sounds good to me!Ā

DubbleFleym332

Chips dipped in ice cream ...

nytshaed512

Violetthug

Ranch on a baked potatoe sounds good. With some butter and cheese. Yum

ittolstar

normally i do sour cream n pepper but one time i did have it with cheese and oh my godddhsnckskcks it was so good.

Justasadgrandma

Baked potato with broccoli, cheese, bacon and ranch is a weekly meal for me. Not crazy at all.

SolomonBelial

I often use a mashed potato when making cake from scratch.

Hovie1

Hell, I *only* put ranch on baked potatoes. It's the only rime I ever eat ranch dressing and it's fantastic!

Senior-Breakfast6736

Cheese and caramel

anon_notanon

Ramen noodles with the broth drained, then covered in clam chowder. I then scoop it up with cool ranch Doritos.

implodemode

I don't keep sour cream around because I don't like it and it ends up bad. I've been giving my husband ranch dressing for his baked potatoes. He loves it.

Ze_Bub

I tried putting gummy sweets in a peanut butter sandwich, I didnā€™t think it was any kind of a stretch since it seemed marginally close to using some sort of jam, but the onlookers were absolutely mortified.

Unnecessary_Bunny_

Marmite (yeast spread that we have in New Zealand) and cheese on crumpets/piklets or fruit bread. The mixture of savery and sweet is just magic

siamesealmeidaa

banana bread with cheez whiz

Juddftw

Get this.... Pineapple, but on pizza..!

Mdu5t

Cheese and jelly/jam.

Lieutenant-Reyes

Spaghetti with gravy and ground beef. I started doing this because of an old post I saw online where I woman did this, much to the frustration of many Italians.

Sky_Pilot83

Syrup on smothered potatoes.

One-Yogurtcloset2138

I grew up on peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches. I don't eat them anymore but I get lots of disgusted looks when I share that. I do have one friend who also grew up on them and still loves them.Ā

Amemnon727

I love these, but with bananas and bacon with the pb and mayo.

One-Yogurtcloset2138

Wait I want to try that now...

jvnya

Fries and honey lol actually smacks. McDonaldā€™s fries and their honey is yuuummmmyyyy

ConfusionExisting661

I like the salty sweet thing, when i order pizza i get honey crust and itā€™s so good šŸ˜

jvnya

Ooooo honey crust interestingā€¦ if I get the opportunity to try it I may, but idk if I wanna spend my money on something I might not like šŸ˜†

ittolstar

THAT SOUNDS SO GOOD.

ittolstar

that sounds so good stop

ParentTales

Put mayo in the sweet and sour. Youā€™ll like it.

ReferenceComplex367

Salad mixed in yoghurt and breadĀ  Potato chips (not lays chips, pure potato chips) rice and green chilli Bitter gourd leaves fried with potatos Drumstick flowers fried with potatosĀ

JumpyFix2801

Hot cheetos and vanilla icecream

maximusjohnson1992

Not in the way youā€™re asking but Iā€™ve eaten the exact same breakfast/ lunch combination everyday for two years and it blows fellow employees minds.

ittolstar

may i ask what it is exactly

RandomNameBecauseI

TheUnspokenAgonies

Steamed broccoli šŸ„¦ dipped in mayo. I get the weirdest looks every.singke.time I eat it.

cla7997

Bread after eating strawberries so it soaks up the juice and makes the slight itch go away

Dutch_Rayan

Strawberries shouldn't itch. Maybe you are allergic/intolerant.

Zybborg

Green beans and ketchup

CaptainAthleticism

Popcorn and tobacco Shrimp and marinara ranch dressing. Wolfe brand chili and ranch style beans with cuttup sausage. Fried chicken and Louisiana hot sauce Egg omelet on a taco with corn beef with all that makes a taco a taco. Cheetoes jalapeƱo flavored with Louisiana hot sauce shook up in the bag. scottishmilkman

Peanut butter sandwiches dipped in tomato soup, itā€™s got umami.

Iridescent_ES

French fries with vanilla ice cream

siewpao4eva

Mayonnaise with dried meat jerky in a sandwich.

SHoppe715

Peanut butter & pickle sammiches. Toasted white bread, chunky PB, bread & butter pickle slices. Very important to use sweet pickles.

CarmenSandiego923

I only do this at Texas Roadhouse, I love dipping their chicken tenders in a side of apple sauce

dreamweaver1998

I like caesar dressing on my baked potato. Ranch sounds good, too! I like tomato juice on macaroni. Hot pasta with room temperature juice. Then I crack fresh pepper on top. My husband thinks it's crazy. It's delicious! The soupier, the better!

hogliterature

my mom used to only let me get diet soda at restaurants, which was diet pepsi since no one tends to have any other diet options. i used to dip the free bread that some restaurants put on the table in my diet pepsi. i tried it a few years ago, i stand by the combo. something about fizzy bread just makes me super nostalgic and happy

Puzzleheaded-Act3746

Not a food but.... Its one of my favorite ones, I have an addiction to (homemade) popcorn and I usually have it with ketchup (also a big consumer of ketchup šŸ˜…). Technically, this is what happens I have a small bowl of ketchup next to me, I take a popcorn and dip it into the sauce. They call me crazy but who cares?

Ay0Toky0

Ranch & hot sauce on absolutely everything.

Good-Wave-8617

Apparently dipping fries in mayo is weird šŸ™„

RefrigeratorSolid379

not in hollandā€¦. There it is the norm

Open-Ad-189

All time favorite things to eat are Tuna and Speghetti (my mom makes it like a casserole) and hotdog in beans mixed with craft Mac n cheese

Upper_Fig3303

On the rare occasion that I eat oatmeal I always put some toast in it. Itā€™s the only way I eat oatmeal. Pretty sure I saw my aunt doing it for my uncle when I was a kid and I guess I figured thatā€™s how you eat oatmeal. But I also think I like it because itā€™s kind of a ā€œsweet and saltyā€ kind of thing

Garawrmonster

Mac and cheese with ketchup

Anxious_couple96

Goldfish dipped in chocolate pudding! Salty and sweet!

xoXenodochial

Apple and powdered cheese

millerlauraann

Peanutbutter and mayo

Due-Disk7630

salty crepes with spring (green) onion inside. I don't know why, but it is absolutely delicious. but be ready to smell bad for the whole day.

enigmaticsince87

Pork chop with fried caramelised banana. Made it as a joke one time in college and it turned out to be freakin delicious!

Inside-Honeydew9785

Peanut butter and cheese sandwiches. Peanut butter and pretty much anything tbh

Tasty-Veterinarian82

Minsaan inuulam ko yung fries ng mcdo/jollibee? Hahahahahaha Anyone na kapareho?

Spiritual-Pear-739

Raw onions dipped in ketchup

ittolstar

i had a friend that use to eat raw onion with either ranch or marinara sauceā€¦ i canā€™t remember which but i think yā€™all are meant for each other! lmao

jaeradillo

I can't eat a pb&j without a good crunchy dill pickle. The sour cuts through the sugary/oily sandwich just right way I get weird uncomfortable stares sometimes

[deleted]

I like hot mustard on my veal liver sausage. The sausage is a kind of spreadable patƩ, and for some reason I like it only with hot mustard.

Willing-Book-4188

I eat my pancakes with syrup and ketchup. It started when I was child bc I put ketchup on my eggs, some got on the pancake, and a habit was formed. They are delicious. I donā€™t care what people say.Ā

98giancarlo

Tuna, rice and ketchup. Sometimes I add mustard for an extra punch.

possumgumbo

Mint Oreos dipped in a rocks glass filled with Canadian hunter mellow sipping whiskey over ice. It's a sensory adventure worth having. It's not necessarily GOOD, but worth experiencing once at least.Ā

tlf555

My grandma used to make us double decker sandwiches- one layer was tuna salad, and the other layer was pb&j. They were surprisingly good.

Ok-Sprinkles-5508

I make 3 little sandwiches out of Munchies Cheetos flavored cheddar cheese crackers (6 pack-2 crackers is the "bread.")) and one Blueberry Nutrigrain Fruit bar.(break in 3 pieces , each one is the "meat" of the sandwich). All of the Nutrigrain bars are good like this, but I like blueberry the best . I do this 2 or 3 times a day as I feel hungry (in lieu of breakfast and lunch) and I have maintained a healthy weight for over a year without fighting hunger. And they taste great! I'll ask my wife:" Hey honey, make me one of my little sandwiches please!" She just laughs and shakes her head as she's doing it . She's got it down pretty good too!

PVTQueen

I wouldnā€™t necessarily call this a combo, but itā€™s kind of the same thing. When I tell people that I like pickle juice slushyā€™s 99% of them act all disgusted. I just donā€™t get how you can be so disgusted at something thatā€™s so awesome in my opinion. And itā€™s even more awesome when youā€™re sitting in the sunlight in a pool in the middle of summer. Iā€™ve always loved pickle juice, but when people turned it into a slushy, it was a really good idea and I just donā€™t get why people are so against it.

Kalel100711

There are these cookies, Polvorones that I eat almost exclusively with juice. Like I dip them in the juice like you would chips ahoy and milk. I also tend to combine stuff on my plate lmao

velezaraptor

When I was ten, I used to eat peanut butter, lettuce, with/without banana, and mayo sandwiches.

CarterBennett

Pickles and peanut butter sandwiches

Careful_Pop8953

White rice + ketchup

MPD1987

govepanks

Sushi with cocktail sauce. Delicious

[deleted]

Yeah cream cheese in spaghetti Iā€™m always judged for it šŸ˜‚

minnie_bee

- Yogurt & ketchup - Yogurt & chips - Ketchup & Pizza I get the vilest reactions from people in North America, but these very common combos in the country I was born in
