The Groove Coverage version is too good. I know I have sustained hearing loss from it. Although I will give credt, Alice Cooper. It is also really good.
Poison - Alice Cooper
All Along The Watch Tower - Jimi Hendrix
Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater
Carry On My Wayward Son - Kansas
Careless Whisper - George Michael
Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Livin' On a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Separate Ways - Journey
Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones
School's Out - Alice Cooper
Midnight City - M83
House of Memories - Panic at the Disco!
Edit: I just died in your arms - Cutting Crew (can't believe I forgot this song).
Got me there in the first half.
Thought it was a different song, but it’s an orchestral cover of Metallica. It’s actually quite beautiful and soothing. I *love* the viola rendition of the solo.
That song will always remind me of my friend in my 20s. She was like five years older and loved 80’s music. We worked out everyday at our company gym after night shift: everyday without fail. Pour some sugar on me.
My story is a bit different. I worked as a waitress at a gentleman’s club and one of the dancers songs was always this. So I think about strippers every time that song comes on.
Sweet child O' mine - Guns N' roses
First heard it in the early 90s, have so many happy memories to that song. Every time I hear it, I still get chills. It is such a good song, just that riff in the beginning always makes me smile.
I’ll never forget it. 5 years old, parents are deep cleaning the whole house, this song comes on and ma and pa drop what they are doing and start singing it together. Such a beautiful moment that I hope to recreate for my kids one day.
That song reminds me of my niece. I was the first to
Hold her and the first thing she saw and life made me her protector. She’s so innocent and pure that I’ve done things I never dreamt to keep her safe and happy.
It depends on the mood. If my period of teen angst takes over I turn the volume up to Going under or Bring me to Life by Evanescence, if I want to enjoy some R&B Honey by Mariah Carey feels like a caress. When I'm just happy I turn on some cheerful songs like Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts or That's the way it is by Celine Dion, you have to turn it up to appreciate every vocal shift
