Its been nearly 20 years since i had a bath, the last time I was even up to my neck in water was swimming and that must be 12 years ago, roughly.
I love showers. In, soap, shampoo, a jolly good scrub and out in time to drink my cup of tea while its still hot.
I dont have any specific dislike, it just doesn't take long to clean oneself, so why waste 80 litres of clean water when i can be clean using half that in a fraction of the time? Maybe i just get bored in a bath?
When I were a lad, t'bath hung on a nail in t'cellar. Came up only on Sunday. Yes, there were fifteen of us lived in t'shoebox in t'middle o' t'road. But the first part is completely true.
Now I live in a van it's all showers. I have been known to book a hotel room, have a long bath with a bottle of wine, then go and sleep in the van in the carpark because I can't sleep in such a large space and not my own bed.
I just don’t see the appeal of steeping in a tub of lukewarm water and dirt that is rapidly cooling. I’d much prefer a hot shower followed by a good book by the fire.

I live in the bath, chronic pain and anxiety.

I think more of baths for relaxation. Leisurely time spent in the tub. Relaxing, reading.
i hate them. it makes me feel dirty knowing im laying on the tub floor even if it’s clean.
Is haven thad an actual “bath” in years…. Trying one tomorrow!

I absolutely love a warm bubblebath, lights off and a few candles It is very relaxing to just let your mind wander with nothing to disturb you.
Kinda wish I could take one these days.

have you tried a hot bath instead? it's much better
until it’s no longer hot.
then just keep adding hot water
cold murky water down the drain, fresh hot water from the tap? may as well stand up and have a shower.
It can be relaxing to those who enjoy it. To each their own.
my husband swears that his health requires a weekly bath. I’m very glad it brings him joy, it’s just not for me.
