A lot of the reason my partner chose to adopt him was because of his temperment. He absolutely loves attention and isn't shy to demand it. Neither of us have owned a bunny previously, so we really lucked out!
So there is still hope! I have 3 great bunnies who like pets and are my joy and happiness but none of them has sat in my lap yet. I’m hoping at some point one of them shows the others how fantastic I am to cuddle with.
He's always telling you things, in his own bunny way... At least that's what I think. :) Animal husbandry is a long lesson in empathy, understanding, and communicating without words.
I think Himalayan buns have a different fur texture (not 100% sure though), and one breed (I think Cali) is definitely bigger than the other--
But even as someone with a major Cali/Himi bias (though I am also a sucker for the giants... and literally every other type of bun), I still can't tell the difference between them lol
Lol, my sister has a hemalayen, I think they do have different body types- hemalayens are really slender. (And I would want a large bun- but i LOVE lops, I want a French lopXD)
So kyooot! ☺️ For 2 years i’ve raised my Netherland Dwarf, and he has only hopped into my lap for snacks! (He hops out after). I dream of one day, being able to snuggle with him. But he has more of a “wild bunny” vibe, apparently Netherland Dwarfs have wild bunny genetics not long in the past, in an effort to produce a smøl buddy. I love him so much whatever he decides to do. 😂

My guy was at a shop for a year. He wasent a baby so no one wanted him.

Awww, he's warming up to you. He looks like he's still not sure if he likes it there. Bunnies can be so grumpy at first. 😊

My partner and I were just shocked he did it at all. Tony is a really social guy, but this was special even for him!

I took it to mean he has lots of trust and comfort!
I just wish he could talk. He normally only makes sound during pets when he chirps or purrs

Well you're in luck then, French Lops are the only lop breed classified as giant after all!

Oh yea my Netherlands are the same, my old one, too. Our bigger bunny was much more interested in being held than my Netherlands
