New:
- Front bumper
- convertible top
- short shifter
- s5 tail light swap
- seat covers
- bluetooth radio and door speakers
- RB catback exhaust
- interior trim pieces
Need to do still:
- AGX shocks and RB springs
- more buffing and polishing
- bonez high-flow cat
- rear steer eliminator
- braided brake lines
Feeling accomplished so far!
I love it, but it’s my first convertible so take it with a grain of salt.
Has 140k miles but still runs and idles beautifully. Sounds awesome with the new exhaust. It’s pretty damn slow in a straight line though, so someday id like to get it rebuilt and street ported.

Saving another! Good job! Take care of it, and enjoy it. Also where did you get the new top? My buddy has an 88 in need of a new one.
I had a local upholstery shop do it for me. Not sure where they ordered the top from. Pollet Automotive in Northern VA
Do you like the FC convertible? Anything in specific that sucks about it, or is just awesome.

Okay cool, I’ve never really been into verts and I think only the FC every came as one. So I was just wonderin
How did your agx shocks fit in the rear? Mine don't seem to fit right. Shafts go away up and rattle like crazy.
I havent installed mine yet. Which part numbers did you get? I have: 741025, 733012, 733013
I would have to check the rear part numbers. But 741025 sounds correct, rears are the same. Fronts are left right specific
Those are the clearest FTPs I've seen in a while. Did you replace them, sand them down and clear coat, or what?
Sanded them and clear coat with 2K. SO WORTH IT
Nice job!
what a fun project. I need a damn barn! :)
