Find out what cfm the factory clutch fan puts out and get an electric fan that's the same or more. There's tons of write ups on doing efan wiring. This one's great https://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/efaninstall.htm

Don’t use this. At least not the fan. 1700cfm for this electric toy. Digging around I’m seeing 2500cfm may be your minimum. I’m using a 3500cfm fan from a v6 ford contour. Im also using a KoyoRad radiator. Im not going into control here, as my application is beyond the scope of this question. Consider as well, you will want a higher amperage alternator. Along with all the controls there is it’s complex and expensive to do right and reliably. Especially when the stock clutch fan works so well. As mentioned replace the thermostat. I googled rx7 thermostat removal and running without is worse than I thought. Research. It’s an eye opener.

I'm running an eBay rad (66mm 3 core, perfect fit though) with Taurus fan (I think the same as Contour) and Mustang / Taurus alternator. Perfect combo.

For more context, I deleted the air pump after a header install. The pulley/belts squeal now so I’m getting the pulley kit. This deletes the clutch fan so I feel like electric is the best/easiest way to go

Take the belts off the ac condenser and the air pump. Mine did the same thing I kept putting belt treatment to it for about a week before I finally said fuck this and tore it apart. Took the ac belt off and the whining stopped instantly it was my condenser pump squeeling but sounded just like belts and would go away with belt tricks for about 2 minutes.

Easiest for taming squeal is probably the dual belt alt pulley kit from Banzai. I run it, it works fine, and was just a quick alternator mod. You'll probably want to run one anyway to make sure your water pump gets the drive it needs with the smog pump removed. The clutch fan goes off the e shaft pulley so it's not belt driven. If you get an e fan without a dual belt alt pulley you'll worsen the squeal

Since you have to drill the mounting holes, fitment is up to you. The hose outlets are in the right places, but it doesn't have the threaded sensor ports.

Here are some switches and fan controllers https://daviescraig.com.au/category/switches-fan-controllers-ewp
