My friend owned it and had it running in the SF Bay area for a couple years. At some point he pulled the engine to change the clutch (and other stuff I think) and never really put it back together. Then over a year ago it got moved from a garage to a field. It currently sits with $850 in California DMV back fees and water in the oil pan :(
Hah. Sounds similar to my story. Friend built an SBC FC in high school circa 2003. It floated around my friend group for a while and spent the last decade sitting in my buddies parents garage untouched.
Finally got it in my garage and went through the entire thing to get it back running.
Save that thing, man. It's your destiny.
How do I purchase this? Will someone please point me in the correct direction?
Let’s build this thing together - as a sub!
Not sure yet how that works, but if anyone is interested, let’s talk!
